  1. @ Alex... this is an MLB focused roster set. Keep in mind this was also designed to reflect projected lineups for opening day. With the update, the predominant no. of players who did see action on the MLB squad were tweaked as well, though not necessarily put on the MLB squad. Only long-term season injuries or season ending injuries as reported by MLB.com were eliminated from the roster at this time. I may put out an update sometime in June (halfway point between opening day and the AS game). And mlev is correct about the schedule updater correcting ages. Thanks.
  2. I don't normally do owner mode, but when I start one with Seattle, Ichiro is there. I see what you mean and I'll make that correction in the next version. I have not done anything to affect All-Star teams in this roster. Other than hide them so they don't appear in the FA list and make sure no NULL slots were showing in the lineups. I think with taking him out from my roster edit this year, I didn't reinsert him properly. I don't speak Spanish, but if you are asking for cyberface assignments, I will look. But I believe all photos are correct, though I will check. EDIT: please see the support topic. In VER 1.4, he is showing up on Portland. He was there in VER 1.0 as well, so I'm not sure what you're seeing. Perhaps when you go into Roster Management, click on "Reset Rosters" and see what happens.

  7. Open MVPedit and click "import". Point it to the <database> subfolder. You'll be prompted to save it as some type of .mbe file name. If you want to see the photos while in the editor, click on options and check the "show player portrait' box and point to the <data> subfolder. Tip: MVPedit saves as you makes moves. There is no reason to "save as" which is your only other option, though "save as" comes in handy when making backup .mbe's.
  8. Hey Jogar, the faces lookin' great and connecting well with my roster update! One question: are you sure Utley is supposed to be 245 as in your description for FP #1 or 345 as in Homer's list. I think it might be a typo and is supposed to be 345.
  9. It's TV... it adds 30 lbs!!
  10. You're ridiculously good!

First shot at an MVP 11 desktop icon. PNG is included.
  12. Very nice classic style.
  13. This is THE one I've been waiting for! Just tremendous.... can't wait to dive in with the classic pitching mod! Thx so much.
  14. very nice job.
  15. If you're still interested in an MVP-PC league ... just ask.

  16. Ridiculously good. You should ask for a "donation" for this. Plus, one can easily turn their controller to simulate a "hit stick" as in MVP 06.
  17. I'd love to get your updates, Spungo, but unfortunately my pc doesn't like the 2x stuff. If I knew how to reduce to 1x, I'd do it. I could see contributing even to get your standard files that I heard you're releasing soon. Good stuff.
  18. Having someone's time being compensated is never wrong if those who are willing to pay a fee will do so. Just because modders have typically been more communal over the years doesn't mean that some type of compensation shouldn't have/couldn't have been incorporated. Sure you didn't come up with the original designs of the uniforms that are being modified, etc., etc. But, then again, lawyers didn't come up with the original principles or were involved in precedent setting cases that they use to do their jobs and gain an income. And you can find all types of examples in all professions. If people don't really want it, don't pay for it. (But don't call it a donation ..... it's a fee).
  19. Pretty stuff! With being able to impliment swing stick and possibly throw stick, it could emulate NCAA06/07 a bit.
  20. Wow..... impressive. Will it have the "ping"?
  21. I don't understand a few of the global tweaks in the OP. For example, he has "Throw Accuracy TA < 5 then TA +4". Is it supposed to be "=4" and not "+4"? +4 would make someone who is a 3, a 7 and put him ahead of the 5's and 6's. Make sense?
  22. I can't believe I haven't seen this thread either, until now. Should come in handy down the road. The only thing I was surprised that wasn't touched was pickoff levels. Seems to be too many pickoffs in the game, especially cpu on human. I've dumbed it down a very significant amount (75%) and it seems more realistic to try it and the cpu doesn't nearly get the unrealistic amount it used to. Good for human v human too.
  23. I suck at digging into the graphic files, but if you guys are interested in this cover/splash page design, I'd love to contribute. If not, I have thick skin 3rd cover down: http://gwvisuals.yolasite.com/pagefour.php
  24. Dylan, once the schedule is generated, is there anyway to go into the .dat file and then shorten the schedule or manipulate it somehow without the game crashing?
  25. The Viewer doesn't work, it simply views your set-up...there's nothing you can activate in the viewer as I feared.
