  1. Just try each one.... I don't know which version you have installed. It may be the original MVP2005 folder or the EAmods folder
  2. Version 1.0.0

This file is for WATCHING PC versus PC games, not playing. This features modifications to the 8 2016 MLB playoff teams. Simply set the matchup that you want for a given game in the "Season Prep" mode and choose MVP levels for both teams. Use the recommended sliders in the appropriate thread or make up your own. Have fun!
  3. Version 1.0.0

SAV file only featuring opening round playoff rosters. Keep in mind it is nearly impossible to have everyone entering the post-season with 100% stamina. Also you will see relievers in a starters slot (because the game demands the 5 starter slots be filled). The file is saved to play as the Chicago Cubs. To change teams, use the tywiggins team changer app (found in the downloads section).

Hey danc, waiting for you to contact me for feedback on the MVP roster since I did ask for that.  Still haven't heard from you . What's up?

  5. Then you would make a request in the mod request area, not in support. If someone wants to do them, they will. Otherwise, you'll have to learn how to do it. There is probably a tutorial in the downloads section. The easiest way to do a pic is without a transparency (like you would see in the total classics mods) vs. the more modern ones you see (which have a transparent border around the players' faces.) It might help to denote which prospects you are looking for.
  6. It would be where any of the necessary files would be. In the downloads section. Portraits.
  7. @danc: Then apparently you didn't read the description of the roster. First of all, everyone's end of season rosters are 40 man teams. The game limits you to 25 man rosters. So what would you like me to do? Secondly, in light of the fact that it is reflective of service time given to the organization, let's take a quick look. The top 5 starters (Fernandez, Chen, Conley, Koehler, and Nicolino) starting the most games are on the rosters. Phelps was chosen as the LRP over Urena, because frankly, Urena sucks. Cashner is not included because he doesn't have enough service. Barraclough, Wittgren, McGowan, Rodney, Dunn and Ramos are the 6 remaining short relievers who have also given the most relief service to the Marlins. There are 13 slots for fielders. Each of the 13 players reflects the most plate appearances of the real Marlins. So unless you have some magical way to make the game use 40 players instead of 25, then please enlighten us. Outside of that you don't know what you're talking about and you're welcome to make a roster for us.

  9. Your post title is a bit misleading. It makes it sound like this is where people look in order to accomplish this. There is already a W10 thread that you should read through. Upgrading to W10 would in no way enhance the game or allow you to add more files. The only thing that would enhance the game is if you happen to be running it on a PC that has an integrated video card (old), where you would want a dedicated video card instead. Good luck.
  10. Thanks. Just a little update. More than halfway done. Had a chance to experiment and working good so far.
  11. You need to have a recent total conversion mod. Try the MVP 15 mod (as long as you're not on a Windows 10 PC; see the thread for Windows 10). You cannot simply add this roster to a basic install of MVP. PM me for further help if needed. Keep in mind that more faces and updates came out since the MVP15 total conversion mod, So even if you get this working, some faces may not look correct in the game since updates were done to faces, portraits and rosters.
  12. During the end of the season and into the playoffs, I'll be doing one last final tweak for MLB'ers. This will strictly be towards the pitchers only. I'll be looking at ERA's during 2011-16 and using those for control numbers. Control between pitches for given pitchers will have more separation (not very many pitchers have 3-4 strong pitches). Also starters and LRP's will also have a stamina adjustment using this time period.
  13. Yes Yes, true. Easy to correct though. And you don't need MVPedit: Open "attrib.dat" (one of the roster files) Search for the player (ctrl+F) Look for the #10 slot (which will contain a number between 901-915 for a generic cyberface) Change it to the official ID number for that player. Save the file. It's that easy. Thanks, Jef.
  14. The easiest thing to do is check the download section for a roster. That's how anyone would find the answer to your first question. If there is no roster and you are talking about making one, then you are facing finding every player that has to be moved PLUS creating every player since the last roster update, if there was one.
  15. Not sure if all of this is correct, but here's what I'm still finding as needed portrait updates: Thanks to anyone who can tackle this......... Missing: Dahl - COL Diaz - SEA Estevez - COL Weaver - STL -------------------------------------------------------- Fielder updates needed: Healy - OAK d'Arnaud - ATL Elmore - MIL Reynolds - NYM Jankowski - SDP Schimpf - SDP Frazier - PIT Presley - DET Schafer - MIN ------------------------------------------------------------ Pitcher updates needed: Mengden - OAK Triggs - OAK Neal - OAK Snell - TBR Godley - ARI Clevinger - CLE Diaz - SEA LeBlanc - PIT Warren - NYY
Thanks very much. The only confusing thing is how you label your uploads. It is hard to tell if duplicates are there.
    Always appreciated for doing this!
  16. Version 3.0.0

    209 downloads

For observing (not playing) MLB level games. Suggested sliders and set up in the forums (link: MVP 2016 PC vs PC Sliders) *NOTE: Contact and Power ratings will be considerably lower than usual. This is to make the game play better for PC vs PC conditions)
  17. Thanks for the compliments, guys.
  18. Will Harris plays for Seattle?
  19. Yes, as I said in post 2. Remember, MVPedit is an Access based program, so it saves on the fly. I would always do a "save as" and save a new file if I were doing anything major like creating a new player in case something goes wrong.
    Looking good, Jef!!
