PM me if you want a copy. There's a few created players. Working on hot/cold zones to reflect what ESPN has for the last 2 years. There are no updated contact/power or pitching attributes to speak of. If I have time I'll do that at the end of the year.

Come on guys...look around a bit: http://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/57795-xbox-2016-mods/
-
???????? No seriously...that's where I would look.

As pointed out in the other Xbox recent thread, there are ways to go about utilizing a recent PC roster, but you have to make sure the Xbox will "like" it. See that thread.
-
Experiment with reducing the free agent pool. If that doesn't work, then it could be that there is someone pulling on a cyberface and it's not liking it. Try 2 teams where you've changed all the cyberfaces to default (901-915).

In the download section I would imagine.

if you can do portraits...that would be huge, especially for the MLB level. If so, I would wait until after the deadline. (i've found the easiest way to view who is missing is right in the game itself.... MVPedit is slower to load portraits)

kyleb couldn't be more spot on (and knows his stuff). If I recall, I eventually went to all generic cybers for the updated rosters. I found it satisfying that PC rosters could work by themselves (though I would take the FA pool way down). Keep in mind that you have the advantage of true 720 wide screen definition versus what's available on a PC (though that does seem backwards). If I recall also, there was one of the 19 .dat files for the rosters that had to be put in a separate folder from the other 18.

How to get MVP Baseball 2005 to work on Windows 10
Gordo replied to Brent2015's topic in Mod Tutorials
1. I can't imagine doing this. Seems like a major pain in the ass 2. There is already a Windows 10 thread 3. There's no need to quote yourself. Just edit your initial posting 4. I've already said what you said in your second posting in the W10 thread 5. Welcome to the site -
You have to rule out what's causing it and the only way to do that is to install mods one at a time.

I'll repost here what I PM'd you just in case anyone else needs it. As far as the stamina changer (btw, not mine.... I just posted the file for the guy who devised it) here's what you do: after you complete a game, exit the game and get to the screen where it shows the 2 pitchers of record alt+tab to minimize the game and run the stamina changer (I put shortcuts in a file on my desktop to get to the utilities I mainly use (see pic) the stamina changer will find the address of where the game is running an apply the existing tweak (if you don't think it's reducing the stamina enough, go back into the game, minimize again and run it again to see if you can get further reduction) stamina changer closes on its own, no need to confirm That's pretty much it. If it's not running, per tywiggins, the utility creater: If you have 32 bit windows, you may need to install these: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistrubutable Package (x86) Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86) If you have 64 bit windows, you may need to install these: Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x64)

Good deal. yeah, anything past Windows 7 seems to have some mysterious crap going on.

If you wanna make it more difficult, don't use the meter at all. The classic pitching mod was first established by Kado around here. I incorporated it into a simulation play pack here:
-
right click on the .exe file, change compatibility mode to XP3; also run as administrator.
-
You may have too many FA in the FA pool.

Game refusing to launch, with unique symptoms I haven't seen anywhere else
Gordo replied to VelocityLP's topic in Support
How about we just move questions to where they're supposed to be instead of reinforcing that people can open a new thread, only to have it closed by an admin, but then it can be opened again. My original point still stands. -
It's possible you moved someone from the SP1 position inadvertently when you moved him off the roster before taking him out of that SP1 slot. (what I do is in the rotation area, swap another pitcher in 5 man rotation for the SP1 and then move that original SP1 pitcher to the other squad or team). So, always put someone in that SP1 slot first and then move him to where you want. The possible easy fix for that problematic team is go into the roster/lineups area and clear all the lineups. Clear the rotation as well and re-insert everyone where you want them. If that doesn't work, you may have inadvertently created another player and the roster actually has 26 people on it instead of 25 (though MVPedit should show them as a team with an error when you 'check errors'). Let us know.

Here's the funny thing about the title of this thread. I assume the OP read through the Window 10 thread, otherwise we would not have this title. In that thread there really has been no definitive answer to rectify the problem. So starting a new thread with an even harder, unique problem is going to secure an answer some how? man....close this. -
Well, in all fairness, there are no instructions on the main page and the readme file is in Spanish. So if you're not familiar, it's not obvious. bigtruck: in the main MVP folder there is a data subfolder. Inside of that is another subfolder called 'database'. In there, right click and group by type. You'll then have 19 .dat files. Those essentially make up the rosters. The best thing to do is delete those and then unzip the roster set you want to that same area. It's best if you don't unzip and overwrite. For some reason deleting and then adding in new is better. When you open the game, go to the manager's area and see if you see the changes you're looking for. Any up to date roster isn't going to work with the original MVP install. You'll need at least 2012 and even then you'll want to update the cyberfaces at your choosing. Good luck.

Will reflect main rookie batting attribute updates per real stats. No pitchers attributes will be updated until trade deadline or end of season rosters. More recent injuries will be reflected (e.g., Matt Harvey). PM me if you want a copy. MLB emphasis only.

I've looked.....can't find one. That and amount of pitch outs by the cpu.

I think the guy who primarily did 360 rosters has dedicated threads is at Operation Sports. I would doubt there's a 360/PC compatibility though.
-
When you go into the correct section, the on-screen steps will guide you through it. So, go to the DL section and into the proper section and choose the "submit a file" button/link.

My tips would be in the form of the guidelines/charts I've already uploaded. I really don't have a desire to comb over another roster set after working on one. If you care to look at those chart, I'd be glad to let you know how I use them, especially the contact/power one.
