  1. If you DL the file and extract it to it's own folder, you can tell what more specifically is updated. Some things, especially the roster files are going to be outdated by this point. I'm not sure why more specifics weren't said about the update, but you can tell with some work what is updated. Since you can extract what's in the file, you can decide piece by piece what you want to change and what you want to let alone.
  2. Did you install the support programs needed for TiT to function?
  3. Reviewing someone badly on a file on something that isn't indicated is in poor taste. I clearly state in the description: "Primary changes are contact/power adjustments to all prominent MLB players (70+ plate appearances)." No where in the description did I mention editing minor leagues.
  4. Well, if you ever try to do a roster set, you'll see that as the season goes on and players are moved around, it could be like have a full time job keeping track of where everyone goes. The game will fill in bullpens once you start a season. In order to export rosters, you minimally have to have 5 starters and a closer. Yes, I focused on MLB teams. But, I didn't just moved them around. I spent dozens and dozens of hours revamping pitchers and fielders in a variety of areas so as to try to emulate the real teams as best as possible. I even re-imported players that were missing. This is one of the main reasons I won't be doing rosters any longer (at least not for this site). Besides a handful of people, by and large people don't appreciate what goes into it.
  5. The correct, jun. Free version does not. That's my new motto.
  6. I think you want the one with the Jasper or later to avoid RROD. I forget how you find out which is which...some type of label somewhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_technical_specifications
  7. See what you started mcoll? hehe Seriously though if I wanted to get back into 360 gaming, I would buy a modded latter version 360 from a reputable modder, a second monitor connected to my PC (my older DELL 20" CRT monitor is tremendous) and converter for the 360 to that monitor. People sell burned games all the time, but I think the actual games are still available and probably dirt cheap on sites like ebay, half.com, etc.
  8. You're not infringing copyright rules by modifying the game as long as you're not doing it for profit. There have been (and still are) guys who have done updates, typically rosters, and sold them on ebay or through there own sites.
  9. I would have thought emulator talk would be banned as well. I mean, technically, you are ripping off an entire gaming system.
  10. The PC can have a mind of its' own. It depends on the situation. Sometimes the PC does dumb crap like if the SU pitcher is batting in the 7th inning, the PC will make him bat and then sometimes sub him on the mound in the 8th. Sometimes you may have to help the PC make a good baseball decision (i.e., switch sides and manage for it).
  11. Mario Kart was of passing interest, but I have no interest now. Stuff like Smash Bros doesnt do anything for me either. The Dreamcast emu runs well on a PC that doesnt have a super processor. There are some very good DC games. The Genesis & Saturn emus run well too. Needless to say we were a SEGA house when my kids were growing up. We even had a NOMAD for the road.
  12. N64 definitely ran on the original Xbox and on the PC, I believe. But there's really nothing in N64 that is of interest to me.
  13. I assume when you guys do previews, you want opinions? If not, then I'll shut up.
  14. McCann and Betances look awesome. Headley seems to need some work in the nose.... his actual nose seems more angular.
  15. That's true....unless you format the RPi2 for OpenElec (KODI) to use it as a media center (which we use). Then I believe you're locked in. RPi2's are basically little Linux boxes, I believe, so I'm not sure if you can format them to do OpenElec and some other set up simultaneously. I used to use our original (modded) Xbox with emulators, but I don't think it ran anything more powerful than Nintendo and arcade type games. Was still kind of cool though.
  16. Ok, then from the little I know, even the original xbox is not successfully emulated. The PS2 is emulated but takes a very good PC processor (there are specs online). I seriously doubt the 360 is emulated. My guess is with XB1 and PS4's having been out for a while, people are trying to unload their 360's pretty cheaply. I think the later model ones are better (i.e., less chance of red ring of death). I assume games would be cheap also. I know the Dreamcast is successfully emulated.
  17. Are you sure emulator talk is cool around here? I mean this is something you can easily Google.
  18. You could probably get a used PS3 fairly cheaply now. I believe they still made a version for that. The Show is exclusive to PS.
  19. Keep in mind that the game came out when Windows OS's didn't have an (x86) program files folder, so not sure how you'll point it there.
  20. Very sorry for your loss.
  21. No, it's like any official game patch. I can't remember if you can point it to your proper MVP folder, but just click and run it.
  22. Tremendous job Jed. Thanks for all of your time and effort.
    Much appreciated as always!
  23. I think someone said his tools are contained in the 94 TC mod??
  24. Don't unzip and overwrite. Delete the 19 .dat files in the database subfolder and then unzip the new rosters to that same location.
