  1. Yes....you should see the 19 .dat files in there. Only delete those....no others. Otherwise you'll crash.
  2. Thank you so very much Oscar....that is great. The one in the DL section just doesn't look like him.
  3. Please explain where you're trying to view the new roster? Also, do you have more than one install of MVP? If so, make sure you're accessing the right version of the game. The correct path is MVP15/data/database. Right click on an open space inside that folder. Select "group by" and then "type". The folder will group the 19 .dat files. Delete those. Then unzip the new rosters into that same folder (don't worry about the patch for now). Go into the game and view the rosters either in the roster management section or when you start an exhibition or NEW season game. If this doesn't work. Pray.
  4. Updated. 2015 MLB Roster Player Injury List OUT FOR SEASON & Suspensions.doc
  5. Don't unzip and overwrite. Delete the 19 .dat files in the database subfolder and then unzip the new rosters to that same location (I find organizing the folder by grouping is best). Then apply the patch (optional). (Make sure the game is NOT running while doing this). If you open the rosters in the "roster management" or "manager's office", you should be able to view the roster changes in there.
  6. Anyone got a good O'Day cyberface. The one installed doesn't seem to be him. I can't find a good one in the DL section. What do you guys have?
  7. You have to be more clear. Did you download the latest roster? This is just a patch that fixes what I indicated. Where are you looking for changes. For example, if you have an on-going season/dynasty and you are looking there, they won't show. You have to look in the roster management section, start a new season, or do an exhibition game.

    Site Issues

Status update is funky. Hard or next to impossible to add one. When clicking in field, "Drag files here to attach, ....." comes up and can't get past it to simply put in text. I'm on Firefox.
  9. Wasn't sure where else to put this. Here are patches for each of the end of season rosters for MVP15. Simply unzip and overwrite the existing attrib.dat file. These simply add 1st B mitts for Canha, Colabello, Morse, Bour and Travis Shaw. MVP 15 end of season roster patch (no HR PCT).rar MVP 15 end of season roster patch (regular).rar
  10. Version 1.0.0

    956 downloads

Primary changes are contact/power adjustments to all prominent MLB players (70+ plate appearances). Some hot/cold zones that were overly flooded were randomly changed (i.e., too many hot or cold squares next to each other).Pitching rotations/bullpens updated per RotoWorld (and Roster Resource); pitchers called up adjusted where necessary; no MLB reliever has stamina > 30, except for LR's.Second version available with HR % zero'd out. I sincerely think the CPU teams will still hit HR's based on various factors, including how you pitch to them. These have been tested successfully with injuries, suspensions and trades turned OFF. Turning any of those on risks game freezing. (By the way, the Angels won the simulated World Series). *Patches for these rosters found here: http://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/57371-mvp-15-end-of-season-rosters-patches/ They simply provide 1B mitts for Canha, Colabello, Morse, Bour and Travis Shaw. *CPU v CPU rosters added! I am 100% sure this will be my last roster for the community. Sincere feedback would be appreciated. It's been a pleasure helping you guys out with these. Play Ball! ~~~Gordo (originator of Base Up! Rosters)
  11. You can probably find a few in the miscellaneous (2K12) section here..... Also try over at Operation Sports (I think the still have dedicated sliders sub-forums for each game).
  12. Here's a site if you want to stop W10 from trying to DL/install on your system: http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/how-stop-windows-10-upgrade-downloading-your-system
  13. Maybe the chin will be more pointy if the entire face is narrowed? That's what seems needed.
  14. First off, despite finding most slider to be highly effective and sensitive, I don't think that's the case with cpu contact/power. I think the cpu bats respond mostly (if not entirely) to the contact/power attributes assigned as well as percentages for various abilities (such as HR's). Therefore, put the contact/power sliders for cpu on -50 and see if you get a difference. You'll feel like you're cheating the cpu, but you're not. Secondly, yes, go for the green zone. Also don't "over throw". Try going for a 90% or so pitch. The colors in the strike zone are hot and cold zones for the batter and have nothing to do with the pitch meter. A batter making contact with a pitch in the cold zone can still get a hit and even a HR depending on what you did with your pitch and that batter's particular contact ability. Another factor is the datafile you use, if any (datafile.txt). This file can be manipulated to increase or decrease power for hot and cold (and medium) zones. Lastly, yes, throw balls. Just like actual baseball, try to get the cpu to fish....they'll do it, but not all the time. Be smart. If it's a 3-1 count to a great hitter, don't give him anything too juicy. If the situation warrants it, chance the walk. A lot of this also depends on your particular set up with sliders, difficulty level that you're on, etc.
  15. If you've narrowed it to the specific stadium, then not much you can do but either repair it yourself or hope whoever modded it repair it. Typically stadium updates aren't much more than advertisement signs changing. That's not to say that some updates are pretty major, though sometimes it goofs up the cameras and the ball can go into hidden areas because a wall was moved, etc. I just checked on mine and the day stadium crashed. I'm not sure if the night stadium crashes, but if not, then change all your games to night.
  16. Hehe...ya, that was a bit odd KC. You started this thread to show off wallpapers and then you only told us about the Linux one.
  17. What you can do is download MVPedit. Then download a recent roster and look at ratings that way. (You would need to unzip the rosters into a folder, like a temporary one on your desktop, and then import them to MVPedit). Manually posting all of those ratings would take a great deal of time. This way you have ratings not just for the Cubs, but for all MLB teams.
    10 stars if I could!!!
  18. That looks sweet.... it's a pain to manually space them out, but that works. My only 2c is because you have the busy color bg, why not make all the icons b&w? I also did this vintage Avengers one a bit back. It's basically the first cover splash pose for the big 4. But I took liberties with the coloring . Left room top and bottom for icons.
  19. Excellent stuff! Yes, a patch doesn't have to include major items. A patch can be to adjust some things. This is great!
  20. Never heard anything back from you. Can't assist you guys is you don't communicate.
  21. Like game manufacturers, they seem to think taking things out that are worthwhile is better.
  22. Right click on the desktop and pick "view". Uncheck both "align icons to grid" and "auto arrange icons". Also, check "large icons". (Icons were made from png's and IcoFX).
  23. I believe this is it: http://www.mvpmods.com/files/file/164-df-compression-utility/
  24. Got sick of all of the desktop icons, so grouped them and made large 256 x 256 icons for these desktop folder categories. Much cleaner. (2 different themes)
