    I clicked on the W10 tray icon that's been sitting there for a while and it started to DL automatically. When I went to stop the DL, it wouldn't. After it completed it and started checking system requirements, etc., I wasn't digging this auto-install crap and wasn't sure what it was gonna do, so I did a quick re-start. My system started acting like it was updating and took about an hour to reboot. I feared my files might be gone if it did a clean install. Fortunately, it was just prepping and allowed me to stop the process once rebooted. BUT..... I don't care for this M$ crap of forcing the issue. I know their goal is to install on a billion gazilion devices, but it shouldn't be forcibly.

    Gotta differ with you on boxing movies. Cinderella Man was great. But you're spot on about Schumer. Seems like trash humor by the girls is the latest wave, but it does nothing for me.

    data/database subfolder. You should find 19 similar .dat files in there. Delete those and then unzip the new roster file to that location. In the future, if you search your main folder for the same file type name, you can find the location. Also, you will need the most recent cyberfaces for the most part. IOW, don't try to install the rosters in the original MVP game. Also, you may see some newer players with faces that don't match. This is because these faces have yet to be released, but the number assigned is correct. So when you do install the new ones, they will show up properly.

    It seems to stand to reason that if J2K works with every other application other than MVP, then it's just not compatible, unless I'm missing something. I found J2K buggy with a couple other games with which I've tried it (saitek controller).

    This is why we've stressed to not do editing within the game itself. You're much more limited.

    Rosters saved from within the game? No. That's a .SAV file which can only be manipulated within the game itself.

    Then I guess we're just traveling down the same road. I can't undo the game's programming. The only thing I found works best is to reduce the stamina to reliever level for minor league starters.

    If you're seeing Ricky Romero in the SFG starting lineup then you've either let the PC optimize the roster, whereby anything can happen. This is why you're seeing SP's in the bullpens. The PC seems to prefer stamina over anything else. This is why I released a roster earlier with all minor league pitchers stamina highly reduced, so that they wouldn't move up. Easy enough to do with MVPedit.

    Could never truly get into it. Found it a bit arcadey still. Haven't found anything better than NHL2K10 on Xbox 360, but only have it for PS3 now. Still a good vs. CPU game.

    Take and miss, etc. are all about CPU tendencies/decisions (coupled with whatever you use with sliders). It would seem that, yes, a lower miss rating means more contact would be made. If you are talking about what you are seeing in MVPedit, for some reason a lot of these fields go from 0-15, yet call them a percentage. Good luck.
