The design teams have all been different. I know that NHL has had a history of bad catch-up programming applied, whereas MVP does not seem to. But it's academic at this point. We're only able to help the game so much.

Good find..... and I know what you're saying about EA, but no telling what they would have adjusted had the game lived on in production cycles.

Depends on the level on which you're playing and the sliders. On All-Star, I find the PC hits them an awful lot unless sliders are set accordingly. Check out the sliders in the downloads section. The datafile.txt can also help as the power for hot and cold zones can be manipulated in there. Some guys will tell you to hold the swing aiming stick up and in and look for that pitch. I'm not a great HR hitter, but if you know you're guy's hot zone, look for a pitch there and time your aim and swing for optimal contact. Pre-loading the bat is a cheesy way to play regardless, so the timing method, when it works, is more satisfying.

I want to clarify something. When I make a critique, I assume it's invited since people are putting out previews of their work. When I do so, I'm trying to give constructive criticism. Believe me, I can appreciate the work and time going into these faces. The likenesses are extremely high quality. But, I would assume feedback is wanted, just like I have always wanted feedback when I did rosters.

I don't recall too many issues, if any, with ball parks from the 08 and 12 mods.

Something with Zimmy is off....maybe eyes to close and nose too thick, but very, very close. The other two are extremely good! Maybe Grichuk's bridge a bit too thick, but could be the angle.

It's a gimmick for July 4th. Seeing it every game wouldn't do a thing for me. I would feel like I'm watching a team use bats they bought out of the bargain bin at K-Mart.
