Good find..... and I know what you're saying about EA, but no telling what they would have adjusted had the game lived on in production cycles.

Depends on the level on which you're playing and the sliders. On All-Star, I find the PC hits them an awful lot unless sliders are set accordingly. Check out the sliders in the downloads section. The datafile.txt can also help as the power for hot and cold zones can be manipulated in there. Some guys will tell you to hold the swing aiming stick up and in and look for that pitch. I'm not a great HR hitter, but if you know you're guy's hot zone, look for a pitch there and time your aim and swing for optimal contact. Pre-loading the bat is a cheesy way to play regardless, so the timing method, when it works, is more satisfying.

I want to clarify something. When I make a critique, I assume it's invited since people are putting out previews of their work. When I do so, I'm trying to give constructive criticism. Believe me, I can appreciate the work and time going into these faces. The likenesses are extremely high quality. But, I would assume feedback is wanted, just like I have always wanted feedback when I did rosters.

I don't recall too many issues, if any, with ball parks from the 08 and 12 mods.

Something with Zimmy is off....maybe eyes to close and nose too thick, but very, very close. The other two are extremely good! Maybe Grichuk's bridge a bit too thick, but could be the angle.

It's a gimmick for July 4th. Seeing it every game wouldn't do a thing for me. I would feel like I'm watching a team use bats they bought out of the bargain bin at K-Mart.

Does MVP 12 work in exhibition mode? If not, then with admin. rights / Windows XP compatibility checked? Sometimes unfortunately you just have to start over.

Oh I see. No, you'll be fine. The most logical thing I would think would be to re-install MVP12 (which was very stable), fire up the game once... play an inning of anything, then an MVP folder should be created in the "documents" sub-folder. Exit. Place your SAV file in there and it should work upon re-starting. Use the 4GB patch too. Maybe the MVP 13 stadiums are causing a crash. You have to do process of elimination. Test after installing each new step/addition.

You say it started either in 08 or 12,but it crashes in 12. Then it seems like you started it in 08. Probably what's happening is that there are cyberface assignments that aren't working and it would be a bit of finding a needle in a haystack. Why not just play it in 08? If it because you want newer stadiums or the like, then just install stadiums from the 12 or 13 mod. Some stadiums in '15 may be causing crashes at this point.

Crashed for me too. The only thing I could see is that maybe your FA pool is too full. I would find a current FA list online and then keep only the players on that list. Dump everyone else. Do a save as before you do that. Addendum: here's your roster to which I overwrote the FA pool. It's under 40 players. I was able to get on the field in an exhibition game. Load these (FA pool won't be accurate), reboot your computer and then try it. laro2.rar

There aren't separate controls for OF and IFs. Check that your fielding isn't on "auto".
