  1. I think with the way salaries are for the past few decades now, few if any players could care less if they're boo'd or not. There may have been a time when that matter to the players at large, but not any more.
  2. Never even thought of touching him (ewwwwwe!!). But, rest assured that Professor Toru Tanaka got a huge upgrade.
  3. Haha...thank you Oscar. Pitchers are done (other than a few I'll probably need to bring up as I go along). So, if anyone has feedback about pitchers needing adjustments, let me know. But I will tell you I did quite a few. 3 teams done with batter adjustments (including hot/cold zones). As long as baseball-reference.com considers that fielder as a qualified player, I'm looking at him. Trying to do 3 teams a day which means a release in about a week and a half.
  4. Version 1.0

MVP 14 CTS featuring Andrew McCutchen. Install with TiT, KiT or bigGUI.
  5. I think that would mean changing the programming of the game, which is doubtful.
  6. As I said, working on these for around the All-Star break. Let me know now if you see anything you think needs changing. For example, if you think a certain pitcher should have different pitch types/speeds, different appearances, etc. Like I said somewhere else, I will make contact/power changes for only the most prominent players on a given MLB team (and if I get the hankering, I'll do the hot/cold zones too). Later.
  7. It usually means the cyberface the player currently holds does not match what is in the models.big file. According to the official ID list, Bogaerts is 643. If the cyberface maker didn't assign that number on the 3 files and the roster doesn't have that number assigned to him, you're gonna get the mismatch. In this case if you installed jogar's Bogaerts face, the number won't match (jogar for some reason didn't use the official ID list very much). You can changed the 3 files inside any cyberface zip to the correct number, but the bottom line is that it has to match the number inside the roster. If you don't know how to use MVPedit, you can check (and change) the players assigned cyberface number inside the roster but opening the <attrib.dat> file with wordpad, search for the given player's name, look at #10 slot and see what number he has. For example, with Bogaerts, in one of my roster sets, part of that line looks like this: 0fff0c906,0 Xander,1 Bogaerts,2 2,3 0,4 0,5 4,6 5,7 27,8 85,9 26,10 643,11 0,12 7,13 0,14 6,15 0,16 9448 You can see in the #10 slot the number is in fact 643. But that doesn't matter if I installed his face with a different number.
  8. One thing I didn't like about converting to W7 was the windows all opening in the same size, no matter how you may resize a particular window. Discovered this app today that did not seem to have any associated malware or anything else connected to it. It doesn't need installation and seems easily configurable. Now whatever I pick for a window size on a given folder seems to stay that way. http://www.sevenforums.com/free-developer-programs-projects/40916-shellfolderfix-manage-folder-window-positions-size.html

    Very nice likeness.
  10. Sorry, but I don't see a likeness.
  11. Maybe work out official ID numbers with Oscar before releasing.

    Definitely see the improvements.
  13. Can you unzip other compressed files with 7z, Winrar or other unzipping tools? This is a bizarre symptom and I'm not sure what details may still be needed. Maybe if you have a techie friend, you can invite him to take a look remotely.
  14. Thanks for the feedback and glad you're enjoying them. When I do the AS break version, I'll be taking a look at depth charts, injuries, etc., as I've done before. If I have time, I'll make contact/power adjustments to MAJOR contributors to a team and look at any large discrepancies for particular pitchers (which I would welcome feedback on now before the fact). For example, while testing out the cpu v cpu rosters, I noticed Teheran's pitches seemed off just because of the nature of them. Verlander will need an adjustment too, but I can't know everyone and I'm not going to take a look at every single pitcher. Addendum: actually I've already started on this for pitchers. You'll see a good number of pitchers with everything from minor to significant makeovers regarding their pitches.
  15. Misunderstood about that Homer. Installer thingy confuses the heck outta me.
  16. Well..this is not a support thread, so go here to follow through..... '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  17. As far as TiT, disable your AV program while running it and see if that helps (AVAST on my W7 machine doesn't like it very much). If you still need another option you can, Backup your models.big file Open models.big with the program "bigGUI" (a stand alone program/app) Select the "import" button and the 3 files typically included in a cyberface zip file (i.e., import each file, unzipped) bigGUI should prompt you to overwrite; do so. these file will show, in the Packed column, as no (i.e., they are not compressed) highlight those 3 files and select the "compress" button then select the "rebuild" button.... the program will NOT prompt that it is completed, but if you select on one of the tabs, such as "file" or "edit" and as long as it responds, that should indicate that the models.big file is rebuilt and ready to go. Since you may only be doing one face, rebuilding takes only a couple of seconds ususally. I would suggest going into the game, to the roster management section, and select "edit" for that given player that you just updated and check the face to make sure it worked. ta. da.
  18. Integrated graphics cards generally don't do well with gaming.
  19. Thanks for your work. It's hard to tell what the faces look like from your pictures. Maybe take a close-up picture of the face instead of the whole player.
  20. Not always. Besides, if one posts something... anything, one is subject to anyone's reply as long as they are a member of the community. Maybe you should consider what you're posting before you do. Now if you would like a constructive potential answer to what you seem to want, you can always use Team Changer, if you have it to make changes and moves. As far as faces, if you use TiT, I believe the faces will show in the existing season since the game draws from the models.big file regardless of what mode you are in. I'm just trying to hook you out!
  21. Wow. So you thought the answer would change simply because you asked it again, later? You were already given an answer. What does being a supporter of the community have to do with anything? This is one of their rules. Besides, you can simply use MVPedit and the Total Installer Thingy and make all of those changes. Also, I think it's "hook someone up", not "out".
  22. Great work, Oscar. Can't wait for this release.
  23. I had the K-Rod ID mixed up with the Francisco M. pitcher. I imported last year's K-Rod correct file to this roster and simply changed his first name to K-Rod so I stop confusing this. Fran M. has been eliminated. Apparently there is another active FR, but he's in a very low league.
