  1. Experimenting with something and happened to make this snag with Cargo against the Mets:
  2. Since installing W7, I can't seem to get Ty's tools to operate. Seems like I've tried everything in manipulating the .NET Framework installs (typically getting the message that 2.0 and 3.5 are already part of the OS) along with administrator privileges and compatibility modes. I can get the black dialogue box to appear, but it can't seem to find the "address". I thought maybe it had to do with installing to the program files folder which is denoted as x86 versus what Windows XP had. I copied my folder over to the "plain" programs folder and no change noted. Addendum: well, mystery solved..... it just takes hella longer for the address to be searched I guess. So far BSE, Stamina Changer and Team Changer working. Just ran so much faster on XP. Damn you M$!
  3. I did find one attribute error. Tom Koehler, MIA pitcher, should have a 93 mph FB. It can be easily corrected by going into <pitcher.dat> and change the value for him for slot #7, which is the FB pitch speed. It currently says something in the 60's.
  4. As long as portrait makers are using the official ID list, they should match up. I doubt YYHMST changed very much, but there can always be a few off.
  5. Absolutely no way I would have considered this without YYHMST's work from my roster set from last year. He deserves a great, great amount of credit. Almost needless to say this will remain MLB based. I may release one more adjunct sub-set where the season-ending injury players are moved to the FA pool.
  6. Version 1.1

[2014 Early Season * Phase 1] *** works best with MVP08 and MVP 12 Total Conversion *** INSTALLATION: Place all 19 .dat files from the zip file into your MVP baseball <data/database> subfolder ***First of all, a tremendous thanks to YYHMST for keeping these moving forward! He did a great amount of work with some player creation and especially the moves. This update COULD NOT have been done without him!! VERSION: 2014 Phase 1 (MLB Focused) Release Date: 05.20.14 Balanced rosters with 12 or 13 pitchers per team Free Agency pool cleaned up and reflecting current majors pool Transactions to date of release (please note any corrections needed) Season-ending injured players kept at organization’s lower levels (note: game may move them to upper levels) 3 versions available: HR% and Star Power intact; HR% only intact; and NO HR% and NO Star Power (which I prefer for more realism)

  8. You would actually say a phrase like "pull their hair out" with an avatar like THAT!!??
  9. Never noticed this. Maybe this should be in the DL section for all to see? Thanks very much.
  10. Roster numbers can be changed in MVPedit or probably in the <attrib.dat> file itself. Just find the correct indicator. Jaxen.... there's a Sandberg face in the DL section, but you'll need to make sure the face and cyber no. match up per usual.
  11. Since it appears as if no one else is going to continue with rosters, I can help you get the next set ready if you want. This would be making sure that MLB rosters are balanced with 12 or 13 fielders, 12 or 13 pitchers, and the complete pitching staffs being balanced. I don't think batters' contact and power ratings should be changed until the midway point when you can get a good amount of data. I would also be willing to help with those, but ONLY for batters who have played a SIGNIFICANT amount of games (at least appeared in 75% of the games to that point).
  12. Well....between that and no classic pitching, that should about seal it. I have played earlier versions of this game on console (blech!) and PC, so I was wondering about this particular version. Well, at least I'll save some money....hehe..... thx guys.
  13. Thanks for these Dennis, and the feedback in the other thread.
  14. So there is no direct IP 2 IP play? This seems to be the case for NBA 2K12.
  15. I think you're jumping the gun. I'm asking to see if it's worth trying to find a copy. And yes, the amazon.ca option will not ship internationally. Not sure how one can get around that, unless there's a willing Canadian member here that we trust to re-route packages.
  16. Ok...you 2K12 afficianados... what is the bottom line with: 1. Offline game play? (meaning with the latest known tweaks) Is it smooth animations? Can I institute "classic" type pitching? (i.e., not a lot of crap on the screen as I can do in MVP) "Real feel" batting and not canned results? 2. Online game play? Can it be done IP 2 IP? If players are relatively close in proximity, is it fairly smooth at lower resolution? Custom rosters useable online? And anything else that you think is significant and important to know....thanks!
  17. TW 08 PC is also going this route with the series being cancelled and new PC golf games coming out. The uncertainty of the new games is still there and with the community literally putting out hundreds of new courses and libraries for free, this game has been pushed up close to $200. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM8642685732?hlSellerId=35030&ci_src=184425893&ci_sku=SPM8642685732&sid=IDx20131030xMPFSxCPA10 http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000OPOCFU/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new&qid=1400168865&sr=8-1 ...and how about these prices for MLB 2K12!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B006476322/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new&qid=1400168951&sr=8-5
  18. I'm good. I attempted to install NET 3.5, but nothing seemed to happen on the surface. However, after that a test run showed the BSE to work. Computers. ptoi!!!!
  19. I know that's it and with a transition to Windows 7, that is automatically installed. Maybe the wrong version though. However with the BSE no longer available on this site, I'm stuck. I think I have to have network 2.0 and/or 3.5.
  20. Yes.... I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to sift through 40 pages. Wondering if anyone knows/remembers the support files needed to go along with the BSE to make it work?
  21. Ben Revere (335) seems to be showing up as Danys Baez? Not sure, but it's definitely not the Revere face, which seemed adequate.
  22. Just upload a new file on your same page and alert people as to what to download.
