  1. Had a great exhibition game between the Twins and Rangers as I'm testing out the new hot/cold zones and looking for any other cosmetic needs. Attached the box score so that the realistic pitch counts and other stats could be seen. No bombs as I'm experimenting with zeroing out the HR% numbers as well. Though I don't know that it's going to keep any HR's from happening on the part of the cpu. In the course of the game, I wanted to get Perimon on and this "gem" of a defensive sequence happened to the Rangers: http://youtu.be/aBgk8FLJuHs MIN1.rar

  5. He looks like one of those older Biblical characters that you just do NOT want to mess with!
  6. Nice....using Johnny Damon's cyber no. here. (crap...meant to give 5 stars..... hate when the star bar pops up and you can accidentally pick the 4th one.....sorry).
  7. Pretty nice.... bridge of nose could be "sharper" and width of mouth might be a little long....but a good likeness.
  8. Thanks. Progress: Got 2 teams done (Bosox / O's) and half of the "non-hitting" pitchers currently assigned to an MLB team. I'm aiming for 2-3 teams/night. Would like to finish up those pitchers tonight. As I come across good hitting pitchers, I'll double check their zones and hitting attributes. Update: AL East done and all "non-hitting" pitchers completed. Hitting pitchers will be updated as I come across them on their given team.
  9. I can..... give me which TC mod to try out first.
  10. Okay guys...... hope you are enjoying that latest installment of the rosters. I've been having some very challenging outings as various pitchers. I think one last major update I want to do prior to next year's rosters involves updating hot/cold batting zones for prominent major leaguers (i.e., having played at least 1/2 the season as a position player). In my last update, I actually did this for several pitchers who are good hitters on one or both sides of the plate. Thankfully ESPN shows this graphic very well and should be easy enough to do, especially if I limit it to those player limits. Specifically, I'll adjust players who appeared in 81 games and/or 200+ AB's.

  16. Just getting to installing all of your great audio files to enhance the game.... Wonderful work!!
  17. I'll be releasing a "patch" (made available in this thread) correcting a few things (some cybers missed, Miguel Cabrera's speed reduced, etc.), but no organizational shifts or transactions.
  18. Well, that was a pretty bad prediction for gm 1. I think I need to lower Pete Kozma fielding skills! I do need to go back and make sure that stamina was 100% for everyone on the Sox....could have been the differing factor...... and possibly re-run it.
  19. Decided to simulate each game (x5) with actual line-ups in keeping with the recently announced rosters including St. Louis bringing back Allen Craig (and demoting Adron Chambers). I'll attempt to post results with actual game time line-ups: Game 1 (Lester v. Wainwright) Result 1: STL 9 - BOS 4 (HR: M. Carpenter (3 rbis), Ellsbury, Ortiz; Molina 4/5) Result 2: STL 7 - BOS 4 (HR: Beltran, Freese, Ortiz; Freese 3/4, Napoli 3/4) Result 3: BOS 8 - STL 5 (HR: Carpenter, Molina, Ellsbury, Gomes; Napoli 3/4) Result 4: BOS 8 - STL 4 (HR: Holliday, Craig, Bogaerts, Drew; Holliday 3/4) Result 5: STL 7 - BOS 4 (HR: Beltran, Holliday; Beltran 4/4 w/ 3 rbis) Conclusion: StL takes gm 1 by at least 2 runs.
  20. October 21, 2013 No significant transactions. October 22, 2013 LAD - signed INF Alexander Guerrero October 23, 2013 BOS - acquired OF Alex Castellanos from the Dodgers in exchange for OF Jeremy Hazelbaker October 24, 2013 No significant transactions.
  21. Well...I don't have the greatest working knowledge of it, but my understanding was you can try to look at what's in an .exe file either by changing it to some sort of zip extension (that didn't work in this case) or via WordPad. WordPad only showed that it was encrypted, but there were a few discernible words. So I thought to search for the EAmods folder name and it was there. But in the 2005 .exe file (thus, the MVP12 version), instead of saying EAmods it said MVP Baseball 2005. Seemed that this is what was making it talk to that EA mods subfolder. I assumed that Ty's apps were coded only to work with the MVP Baseball 05 subfolder. Fortunately these .exe files are swappable.
