I don't know about that. These two have never been seen together!

Hey guys... I opened the .exe file in MVP 13 (essentially the same one that is in MVP 08) and you can see where the EAmods sub-folder (the one in the my documents area) was embedded. Problem is when you change it back to the MVP Baseball 2005 subfolder name, it doesn't save properly....probably doesn't compress. So I simply swapped out the .exe file from MVP 12 (and probably can do so from the original MVP 2005 install) and it worked just fine. Too easy.

If you mean the main MVP folder....that won't work. For the MVP13 mod, it needs to be in the EAmods 08 subfolder located in mydocuments.

I think if you take an .exe file and change it to a zip, rar or 7z file, you MIGHT be able to then open it with something like WinRAR and then manipulate it if it's not encrypted. Of course, make a back up first.

I will be releasing a playoffs based roster, including ability to control any of the 8 teams. Rosters based on Baseball Prospectus listings as I cannot find any sites that list actual 25 man playoff rosters. I'm assuming BP has the best offering.

That didn't translate well.

Only about 1/2 of the league left to check for pitchers, some testing and then should be done. Really, really wanting to get it done by the weekend. I think that some guys (depending on their sliders) will find it much harder to pitch with certain pitchers who did struggle this year. Addendum: in the home stretch.....as long as I don't have any personal setbacks, I foresee this being ready by this weekend.

Couldn't agree more with #3. Some of the quality is lacking and the choices to do a particular face also leave a little to be desired. I think some guys get enthralled with a new guy (who could end up quickly sent down to a AA level) and want to be the first to do a face. I think there are still established MLB'ers who could use a face instead.
