FF, how do you make those really tiny little lines/dots, like on the steve smith sig?

you know, to make a link, all you need to do is put in the url of the adress in bbcode in your sig, and that should work.

when you drag a font file into the folder it should install it automatically. or your computer might not be able to handle that type of font.

he's just in a dodger uniform and it has a "dodger blue" background. no logos or special dodgers stuff really.

bama (or anyone) do you know the answer to this? how do you make an image kind of semi-transparent? i don't see anything like that on gimp... thanks!

errr... is it ok if it's dodger-themed? only the caption for it reads something pretaining to the redsox like "once a red sock always a red sock" or something like that. because i've already started it...

does ANYONE know how to resize a pasted image in gimp. i've tried my hardest, but i just don't know how to do it, so there's the corner tools and i can resize it like that. or even just resizing that pasted image in a size adjusting "dialog" or whatever. because i've been having to resize pics in a cheap photo-editing program, and it doesn't carry over transarency. anyone know? THANK YOU.

yeah, it's not awful, but the background is kind of messed up. Try making the background lighter, and the text just a solid black. then it could be half decent.

thanks! by the way, like my new sig? it's allan roth's "team efficiency" rating. it can't be calculated by the way, i tried it and i found that he hadn't actually completed the whole equation. "F" stands for fielding, and he hadn't found out how to measure fielding yet.

what's the small font you guys all use for usernames and such?

wow, you get better a them every day. i really like the line in the middle. however, i agree, you shouldn't interrupt the name of the player with a different font. otherwise, nice work! yeah, i've been to that site, whoever that guy is, he does some pretty sweet sigs. i've used his cutouts, and they can come in handy very often.

or what's better is putting the CPU to keyboard 2, and then making all the pitches right in the middle of the plate. i've had like a 40 run innings with that. :D

actually i like kc's 2nd one. the text on it really fits, and the four players are a bit crowded. however, both of them are absoloutely amazing, so i see you've chosen the second one, and i don't blame you.

mo, i'm with you here, i played on rookie for the longest time ever, then on pro, but whenever i try all-star i can't score any runs. also, my pitcher is pitching like 3 perfect innings. then, with two outs in the third, a guy gets a base hit, and then they proceed to get like 10 base hits in a row!!! that's what's really frustrating.

well, that's okay, it wasn't a really good idea to begin with. btw, no offense, but that list of modders on mvp 06 for the loading screen was kind of, well, dumb, and it looked very unproffesional. so we should re-do that, and at least when listing the modders, don't make it in that same kind of format.

actually, you made a good point there, let's make sure it's MVP 07: w/ the "major league baseball" part there, especially since ea might have a college 07. again, just a random thought, but who knows what might come out of it.

well, let's put it this way: mvpmods would not be the same if we lost one or both of them, and i mean that in a mostly good way. (*cough-cough* )

i was thinking that we should completely maybe rename this whole thing. it might be a stupid idea, but i might as well try it out on you guys. since this is basically 50% our game at this point, why don't we rename it, like mvpmods 07, brought to you by mvpmods.com, but inspired by mvp baseball 2005 from ea sports. again, it might be just a stupid idea, but i was thinking about how personal we could make the game, and how different it could be from the original in a good way. c & c?
