  1. By the time you face off against the Rangers on the 14th, i say you will have a 2 game lead in the division. The 4 game set toward the end of September at The Coliseum in my opinion will virtually decide the division. You just need to split the series with them. The Rays/Angels will take down the Rangers after that.
  2. I may have taken too many steps back though when i traded away Manny. I could really do with him batting 4th in my line up right now. I think you will wrap up your division before you start your 3 game set against the Angels to close out the season. I have faith. Edit..Would you mind posting the Rangers schedule so i can see who they have while you are chasing them down.
  3. It gets better, i am 5th in the WC race only 5 games out. :yahoo:
  4. Here is something i have thrown together over the last hour or so. I may start to use it now that the race for the play offs is starting to heat up.
  5. I don't think i will resign any of the ML players. I have plenty of prospects coming through that should be ready for the Majors next season. I might see what LF'ers are available in Free Agency that would make a good back up/platoon with Zach Daeges. *Edit - I am going to platoon F-Mart and Daeges in LF next season.
  6. 7. I hope he can. I wouldn't mind winning a second straight Cy Young Award. At the minimum David Pauley should win the ROY award.
  8. Cy Young Award Candidates Pauley/Sabathia lead the way Currently the game has Sabathia as the leading candidate but it seems like it is going to be a close race. Sabathia's Stats 23 Starts, 10-6, 3.24 ERA, 2 Complete Games, 2 Shutouts, 152.2 IP, 131 Hits, 55 ER, 15 HRs allowed, 44 BBs, 134 Ks, .235 Opp AVG, 7.90 K/9, 2.83 BB/9, 1.17 WHIP Pauley's Stats 22 Starts, 13-5, 3.40 ERA, 3 Complete Games, 148.1 IP, 143 Hits, 56 ER, 22 HRs allowed, 19 BBs, 116 Ks, 250 Opp AVG, 7.04 K/9, 1.15 BB/9, 1.09 WHIP

  10. Boston win again, Wagner hits first HR Boxscore Game 113 Vs Los Angeles Angels
  11. Boston requires extra innings to walk away with series win Boxscore Game 112 @ Kansas City Royals
  12. Royals walk off Vs rookie Picota Boxscore Game 111 @ Kansas City Royals
  13. This is starting to feel like the start of a come back I am now only 6 games out of the Wild Card and 9 out in the East. This time last season Dustin Pedroia, Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis started to drive the ball and that propelled me to the division title. This time around it seems like Lowrie, Drew, Ellsbury and Keppinger are starting to heat up and that might just be the catalyst to save this season.
  14. Red Sox coming back? Season high 29 hits in demolition. Boxscore Game 110 @ Kansas City Royals
  15. Mark Wagner will be starting in place of Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Due to fatigue.
