In many cases for rosters, the creator's team is way too good. Like for this Yankee Fan's rosters, Jeter was way too good. Speed at like 88, an amazing fielder, and one of the best hitters. He is good, but his fielding is average at best, hitting isn't as good as it was in the game, and he's not that fast. Just my opinion.

Jeter is way good. Also, if you are really maddened by these rosters, if I may chime in myself, edit them yourself, thats what I do. You can also wait till 2007 when these things will be resolved. Okay, my little op-ed piece is over.

Umm, don't think I can do that because the stats progress the same, whether it be speed, contact, power, etc. Speeds will go up the same way as all the other stats.

I found in MVP05, a lot of the players ratings get ridiculous after years.

For example - Jeter kept getting better and fast until he was like 36.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, I'm pretty sure I didn't see this, but what about making his contact worse? I mean Adam Dunn is a guy who will wait for something he likes and try to swat it out of the yard. If he doesn't get it, then he will strike out or walk. That wouldn't attest to a high contact rating in my book.

Once again, I would just like to point out, that 1.1 crashes on me when I try to start a new dynasty. I don't think it's a problem that KG really wants to address, but I'm just throwing it out there. Do I need the default progress.big, rookies.big, schedule.big and resign.csv? I have all those modded, so I figured that might be it.

Also Mo, try to sit on a pitch until you have a strike. Sit on something like high and in fastball and try to pull it. If you do not play with the give away before the pitch, just try to sit on a zone and hope that its a fastball. It makes hitting easier, and it's kinda how the average hitter thinks.

I think MVP's hitter's eye is kinda like how some pitchers tip off their pitches in reali life, like when a hitter sees a certain grip on the ball, they can guess what the pitch is. You can't see a grip on the ball in the game because they just kinda palm the ball lol.

Maybe if they had made it appear for a split second or appear at a much later point would it have been successful. I just started playing with it off, and hot and cold zones off.

For all those who say MVP, do you swing at everything like I do at times?

Nope, gotta remain patient. The problem is that at higher levels they throw more balls, so at Pro that won't apply and at all-star they throw few balls, not really enough to draw walks. Like DUnit I had to turn down the sliders for the opponent cause I like a "fair" game. Hope response helps.

Lol, funny. Overlapping over the head of Kenny Rogers is not the best of ideas, he might tar you. Also you can't read the fonts that overlap the players. Also, I recommend a thicker text for the OR. Also, I kinda don't like the background, the people just seem to blend in. Personally, thats infinite times better then anything I could make, cause I never made one, but when I tried it's been terrible. Not bad though, good first attempt at it.

You weren't playing me, were you? I forgot to adjust my lineups, but my teams are usually so awesome that I don't have to. I was able to snag the Bears D in the 9th round and players like Bush in the 6th and Cotchery in the 15th. Yay, Cotchery is becoming a really good WR.
