This is almost EXACTLY why I started this thread. This is going on with me. I'm seeing filthy pitches being thrown at me, tons of outside balls, and when they come inside I foul it off or take instead of swinging. I may see if more patience will correct this problem, or simply go back to Pro and adjust the sliders to keep it challenging but full of fun. Right now my new Braves Dynasty is stacked and I'm about a .500 ball club. I've already told myself that if I don't' win the WS I'm selling off all of my high priced players. And I'm not simming anything, so if I personally don't make it to the WS, and win, I'm selling off the team in the fashion of the 2003 Marlins.

Dang why do I suck. You've all GOT to be using a datafile mod that allows you to hit well or maybe you all don't swing at stuff. I'm maybe too antsy.

For all those who say MVP, do you swing at everything like I do at times?

I've moved from Pro to All-Star to see how I could handle it and boy I still suck. I'm not using a datafile to mod how the ball lands or gets out of the ballpark more often, I'm using the default datafile and my sliders most likely have my hitting contact and power up to 50 so that I can actraully get a hit. I score about 2 runs a game, it seems, and so as you can tell I live and die by my pitching staff and paying close attention not to make errors on the field. Every game is like a playoff game. A grueling one. Not sure if I like my team being a .500 ball club like it is right now, especially with my team being ranked #1. Thus, this thread. :headache: :joystick:

You know what I like about this program? I can see what star rating other teams' rookies are, so I can know ahead of time what to offer for them and if I'm about to get ripped off for what I think is a good trade. I can use this program, search for the player I want to check out that got drafted by another team, and then back out offering a trade. I can even propose to take on a portion of the contract by altering the amounts of the players contracts right before I do the trade (or after). This program rocks.

I saw how to fix mine. I just deleted the Sammons and then saved the changes and his name went back to normal. Thanks for your programs man.

fyi. type in Salta and hit enter. Saltalamachia's name comes up with two last names. SaltalamachiaSammons. And if you make an edit, his name gets changed to the full last name plus some stuff like this: %BE25'SALTALAMACHIASAMMON etc etc etc.-Mo

Just fyi. It didn't work for me. I followed the readme and noticed that it did not export the file orgextra.dat. It did export the org.dat, but there was all zeros in there, no budgets to edit. So I made the edit to read 100 instead of 0 so I can give myself 100 million of a budget instead of 129 and ran the special importer but it just opened up and closed. No changes. Please don't go out of your way for me now that you already did. I'm more into the stat/schedule updater since I have one game left in my new dynasty. If you ever go back to that. Have a good weekend.

True or False. Only your .dat exporter/importer will allow me to change my current dynasties organization.dat so that I can reduce my budget. I can not use the mvp editor tool, only the the .dat imp/exp.? True or False?

I suppose the same question is left for the faces you quoted above as being working Also, for anyone reading this, I just tried this tool and it was very quick and easy and works like MVP edit only WAY easier. TRY IT. Will you think about going back and adding the stat updater for the season projector program? Just a thought.
