Rookie (3/10)

  1. Are you sure he has 15 days left on the DL and not just 15 days left to his injury? There's another step to removing a player on the DL - removing the injury and injury time using MVP Editor.
  2. Does the 25 players include players you "import" with MVPEdit? Because I was curious of that too, I exported a handful of players from a different .mbe and then imported them into your .mbe and it seemed to give me more player slots (unless it was overwriting something and I didn't catch it yet)
  3. I see. Well I'd at least put a couple guys like Mike Kinkade (who will be out for a couple months with a broken hand) and Adam Harben (TJ - out for season) on the DL for the Cubs. Some others in your rosters, if you work out a solution: AAA: Mike Kinkade, Roberto Novoa, Sean Marshall (EXST) AA: Adam Harben, Ryne Malone, Ryan Harvey, Sam Fuld, Chris Shaver A: Mike Phelps, Mike Billek By putting these guys on the DL, I was able to use your rosters to make the Cubs roster accurate to the opening day roster and then add a few guys to the A+ roster that I'd like there anyway from the A team. Obviously if you did this for every team it'd take significant more time though...
  4. kg, did you want your DL plus to include guys in the minors who are injured too?
  5. Got it. Good luck. Update us on how the exporter works when you get to that point. I had it draining and duping attributes to a bunch of players for some reason so I'd like to hear if you had any luck.
  6. So if I understood you right, you're not going to make a PLUS version with accurate DL? The DL version will only be released as standard? Because my point was that if you plan on making the plus .dats from your DL SAV using ty's exporter, you'll probably be running into the bugs I noted. For right now I'd avoid using it for this altogether.
  7. I've had some problems with the .dat exporter. It has a few strange bugs. I tried to import the .dats and end up with at least 2 pitchers per organization who's attributes were all messed up. Their "overall" bar went down to 0 and their stamina was changed to "0/50." When I edited one of these players to fix the stamina it changed the stamina and pitch attributes for ALL of these players but without fixing the "overall" for any of them. So I now had 50 or more players that were apparently all controlled by the same pitching attributes and all have the worst overall in the game. Long story short, I wouldn't depend on using it for your rosters until all these bugs are corrected. So, I'd make the SAV file the plus version so it's compatible with the new models.big.
  8. Thanks guys, sounds good. You'd have to load up each injured player in his Editor and give them an injury "type" and "length" in days. This will make them injured but not put them on the DL. You might be able to see if advancing a day will have the AI put them all in DL slots or leave them injured on the bench but otherwise - you'd have to then use the "Team Changer" to switch to each team to move the injured players to a DL slot before you will have the roster space. Also keep in mind that you can't demote an injured player so not to 'injure' more than 4 guys at each level (4 DL spots: 2 15-day, 2 60-day).
  9. Thanks. Would this plus-maker that is apparently coming out with the models.big fix this issue? Meaning, can I make my minor tweaks on your standard roster tonight and just run this "plus-maker" to make it compatible with the new models.big that will be released? If so, will your "PLUS" version tomorrow be your standard roster just run with this plus utility or will there be other changes worth waiting for? Thirdly, you seemed interested in making the SAV with real DL but are you planning on going ahead and doing this? Thanks again as always!
  10. What are the differences between the "STANDARD" and "PLUS" rosters exactly? If I plan on using the new models.big kraw said was coming then I need to use the PLUS rosters, right? Does that mean I can't tweak kg's standard rosters in the meantime because it'll be unusable once I download the new models.big?
  11. Looks good, kg. I loaded up your rosters in MVPEdit. Apparently I can't start a Dynasty until the new models.big and then you release a Plus version, right? You ran into the obvious problem of there being too many guys on the DL so the Daytona roster is actually about half wrong as I expected. Many of those guys are on the AA disabled list and a few of them are on the shortened MiL DL and will be reporting to AA very soon. Also as a result this made every rotation in the organization wrong to their Opening Day roles. Of course, kg, I'm not saying any of this to be critical just saying what I know to help you make them perfect. Yet again, if we could only make 30 man rosters then you wouldn't have this issue but you already know that. There's also a few guys who will be playing new positions this year but are still listed as last year's positions. Mark Pawelek by the way is currently a reliever in Peoria. The *hope* is that he can work his way back into a starting role by the time he's at Daytona but you might want to keep him in relief to remain accurate. Also, Lincoln Holdzkom was released. Maybe you already had the accurate depth chart but just made the changes you were forced to make? Instead of listing the individual changes, I'll post my org. chart.
