That is an xbox roster ported to PC and I know there are screw ups. I would just use as is and wait for a good PC roster to be completed, i wouldn't waste my time trying to fix that one up.
-
That roster file in your post has the schedule and Astros in the West. I will be using Wudl's roster when he's finished as it is going to be great and I plan on adding the schedule and Astros in West as well.
-
Edit them in what way?
-
My controller/control setup/click down on left stick. At least that's how I find those options. Maybe your "click down left stick" button isn't set to do anything in the set up screen?
-
This might also be tied into pitch count and if you were possibly over by a fair amount I could see this happening. What determines pitch count anyways "stamina"?
-
Here is a PC roster converted from xbox. If you have reditor Guru copy and paste the schedules into your roster. I did all eight of them. That should get you going as long as there are no errors. You will have to also extend some of the schedules rows, I used the clone function to do that. Here is nother link that Kraw posted in this thraed to tell you how many rows you need in each schedule tab. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak3oOZgQRWAndDN3SFFtb1JGR1hzb2FhTEt3Y1BFV0E&usp=sharing http://www.mvpmods.c...&attach_id=3995

Yes and no. You can convert it but certain things get messed up. I posted one in this thread Post #28 (read the work around carefully) you can check it out if you want. Some names are wrong not sure what else. http://www.mvpmods.c...pic=54860&st=20 I didn't convert it but added the schedule to it and placed Houston in the AL West. I think some of the errors would be fixable with some extra work.

Just the way the game was made and I can deal with it. Also just because the curve is red doesn't mean you can't throw it, just don't lay it over the middle of the plate when it's red though. Carry on Wudl. :D
-
Ok it must have something to do with tendency they throw the curve and the overall quality it has. I was trying to think of a pitcher that throws a fair amount of curves other than Wainwright and the only one I could think of was Zito. Ok his curve has decent quality, speed 75 movement 75 control 77 (last 2k official here). I threw 3 curves to start the game = yellow then on the 4th it turned red, I then threw 1 fastball and it turned back to green (didn't even go back to yellow) followed that up with 2more curves = yellow 1 more curve = red. I stayed away from the curve after that and it turned back to yellow after a few pitches but wasn't going back to green any time soon. So overall I felt that was a fair result from throwing 7 curves and only 1 fastball.
-
Why can't I create a pitcher with 3 pitches? I save Nathan with curve #1 pitch 90%, fastball #2 5%, change-up #3 5%. Everything saves fine then I go in game and he has a knuckleball as well. wtf
-
Need to make someone with 100% curves and nothing else and see how fast he goes yellow/red.
-
I'm seeing the "issue" with the curveball even using the out of the box roster with Nathan. Maybe it isn't an issue at all and just the way curveball's are rated or something. I also think that a reliever isn't the best pitcher to test with because the pitch count might have an effect on how fast pitches turn back to yellow or green from red. Also maybe Nathan turned green for you in your latest test because more of the curveballs you threw with him were strikes and not balls? Just a thought. For what it's worth I also tested this with xbox using default and last 2k roster's and seems to be just the same type of results as PC.

Well the year 2013 is never going to show up but the schedule will be for 2013.
-
You need reditor guru edition to add to your own roster. Everything you need to know is in this thread. I think!
-
One thing I can say is it's excellent for global editing once I figured it out.
-
When you load this roster up in franchise the first season you play ,which is named 2012, is actually the 2013 season that is on xbox 2k13. Whe you sim ahead to 2013 that is the 2014 season. THe year dates can not be changed.
-
This roster is a ported xbox roster, screw ups are to be expected, we need to bring the schedule into a dedicated PC roster, like Wudl's. :D
-
What do you mean you lose the schedule when simming to 2013? I'm not seeing any problems there.
-
Texas is still there it's just that the game will only show the top four teams in the AL West because that is hardcoded in the game. The blank space in the NL Central is because you've removed Houston from that league. This works pretty well in my opinion. The roster like I had said is off in certain respects because it's a ported xbox roster. those problems won't be there when using a roster made for PC.

Great work on that last update Wudl, much appreciated. :D

Here's one you can use. This is a roster that was being worked on by a few guys over at OS for xbox, it has been converted to PC and there are a few glitches in it that involve some missed names etc. ratings still needed work as well, still a work in progress. Hopefully we will get Wudl's updated with this. Houston is in the AL West as well. Remember to sim from the schedule screen and the info below to avoid a freeze. The freeze happens after you quit your franchise, the game then attempts to reload the roster that you started with then it freezes. Simple work around though for now at least. !!!The work around is to simply rename the roster in your saves folder that you started your franchise with (the one containing the 2013 schedule) to something different, then the game won't attempt to reload it upon saving. Works great and the franchise still saves and loads fine and you can continue using that roster for play now games. 2013sched.rar

The readme says it's the "old and older schedules are used to generate future schedules for franchise"
