The whole world broadcasted World classic baseball with official World classic scoreboard (with WCB logo, not MLBN) If it was as you say, it was broadcasted localy only. But if mean that one as on the picture - yeah, it is pretty ugly .... :)
-
OK OK, take a picture if you find it possible and convenient. I am just looking for the next scoreboard that could be made. Unfortunetally all are pretty simple. better to say with less details than Comcast CSN has,
-
I am happy that QBRICK808 finally enjoys it BARNES, ya modify the way you like. GL GL GL As an international user I don;t have access to MLB Network. I have MLB TV subscibribtion, plus daily games on ESPN America, but never saw games with MLB Networks scoreboard. Can you take of picture of MLB NEWTWORK ?
-
It is possible to modify, but not sure what quality we will achieve.. As particular there is such section in English.iff file 2-SEAM FASTABALL. Besides that this single line is used on scoreboard and Strike zone too, it is also used for two pitches - a) 2-Seam Fastball, Fastball. (I am not smiling here, just trying to write "b" and ")" That means last word is used for both pitches and I can't see how to modify it correctly. I can;t see a combination that woul fit for 4S and 2S. I'd rather try to raise whte bacground's level (Z-coordinate), maybe then it will be on top over pitch names. Thus would solve the porblem

CSN v3 PREVIEW Some new option here. Pitcher names and pitch count added to right top box Even before the first pitch it show names and pitch count 0 / 0
-
Take my modded file and take default 2K file. There should be option to Compare files in hex editor. Then you will see what is modified. I have modified thousands of bytes and I put just few notes on paper. But everything is wrttien in latin letter in the file For example Inning text 4564c0 - 4567b3 Inning arrow. 456210 - 4564bb Modifiy values and see what is changing. But this is only for coordinates and "size There much much bigger blogs for "inning" about 3D vertiles (shape, colors), diffuse colors, etc. in other parts of the file
-
I have spent hundreds of hours investigating similar file from NBA2K and learned some things. Before starting I have read this thread http://forums.nba-li...p?f=143&t=84049 began from small things, later improved a little bit
-
This is because every texture has it's own 3D subfile. Every element has reflection intensity or something silimar that reacts to present light intensity (as in real life). Should be be something like that.
-
"Unfortunately I don't have the ability to use Blender on the level that you do, so I don't get to make the decisions." I already said few times to you that I do not use Blender for MLB scoreboard editing at all. It is useless here. Everything is made by hex editing looking to digitis and letters.
-
Open you file (has to be decompress one). CTRL+F "light" and you'll find that sector. All important data for modding is always above text "light..."), ie. scroll up, not down from this word. Sectors always ends with Latin letters on the right part of the screen It can also be more "light" sectors. Press F3 to find next ones BTW I affraid you have to restart your game to in order to see changes you made to global.iff (I just think so, you have to test that)

I am moving further with CSN and have no motivation to remake past versions. So far (after CSN 2.0) I have achieved the following * Scoreboard is not disspaearing after a hit. It is still working when ball is in play, during replays, we can even see "3 outs" at the inning end phase * Found a way to dissable pticher name in Team ID area. Pitches count is still visible (still for away team only) As I understood, batter's Power and Contact info can not be shown permanently (at least no easy decisions for that)
-
Thanks for kind words. Ya, Id like to make some more scoreboards, but I still exploriong the file which is pretty massive and some more features I need to find. So far not making any new new scrbds
-
I just remembered that this white background is very related with textures imported to the file. Have you injected any new picture here?
-
There were same issues with some background for mine NBA2K13 scoreboard. Solution was found - damaged exe file used by users. You might try with original exe or try other modded ones. But this is not certain for MLB. Aslo try CSN 2.0, maybe it will work better (it was almost completelly reassembled comparing to v.1.1, tho you can't see with a naked yey - was need to inning marker) If this does not help I have no more weapons unless more users will have similar problems
-
This is your earlier pic. Try other roster file and see if it helps, It it white again then it means you edited roster too much probably
-
Well done. Regarding other roseters - if offsets are jumping then it will not be easy to find quickly teams. I recommend to searh (CTRL+F usually) in hex window for 1C309B. It will direct you to the last block af Astros area, just few bytes away from important ones. Then use your imagination how to find quicker other teams.
-
For now I can teach everybody how to calculate checksum (CRC32) correctly. This is needed everytime you make any change to *.ROS file * Save the file after you made changes. * Scroll to the very top of the document. * Delete first 8 characters (4 bytes), egzample XX XX XX XX (not substitute with 0, but delete) * Save the document again * Let's say your hex editor is "HxD", them go to Analysis-Checksums, * Find CRC32 * Press OK * Result will be visible at the bottom of your screen under "Checksum" * Result is 8 characters (4 bytes) * Insert those characters to the beggining of the file (not overwrite data, but insert) * For inserting go to Edit-Insert Bytes. * Where "Bytecount" enter 4, confirm * 00 00 00 00 will be added to the beggining of the document. * Overwrite these zeros with Checksum result * VERY IMPORTANT. If Checksum is 12 34 56 78, you have to enter everything in the following order: 78 56 34 12 More examples Checksum result 1F 06 CE 25 YOu enter to file 25 CE 06 1F Save the file.

Upload one more screen with missing lines and I'll show you the patter how to find teams
-
Regarding your latest picture. Still out reach Two lines are missing. But I hope you'l find it at offset 13E88C
-
I think you wanted color E14408 as I understood from previous posts. Here it is. Not crashing (tested for a sec) In your file offset for Astros was 13E88C (when mine is 13EAF4) color-E14408.rar
-
Hm, Offset is chosen correctly as I wrote. But now I understand that ROS file is not steady, data is moving though the file. That means my offset for Astros is 13EAF4, but your pointers is in Oakland Athletics area. If you could make one more screenshot with data that is not visible above, I'd tell you where is your target. Fromw what I see it should be about 8 lines to the top. Upload that area
-
I am pretty you can do it manually before Reeditor will come out. Just ask if sth is unclear. Some instruction how tyo change already are posted GL GL GL In order you need only HOUSTON, send me your Roster, I'l change the color BTW, I check official Astros web page, and orange color that is coded here is EB6E1F. Absolutely same tone as in other official Astro sreleases
-
ATT: QBRICK808 Open ROS with hex editor It goes like Angels, Astros, Athletics, etc. As I said earlier, Astros offset is 13EAF4 Next team (if you scroll down) is Athletics Offset 13EF18 I am pretty sure you can recognize a pattern from these two.. *** I do not have any list with Where/When/How. I just checked is it possible to change colors and answer is yes as you see. *** BTW, in order ROS file would not crash you have to recalculate checksum and eneter new values in the beggining of the Ros file after you made any changes. I recomend to download any CRC 32 calculator, and choose "Dynamic Assembly" method Read here http://www.codeproje...ksum-for-a-file **** "How do I specifically go about making the changes?" By pressing keyboard buttons with the fingers. What to press is described two or three posts above. **** Do not hesitate to ask if sth is uncliear GL GL GL

Hehe... As predicted, these colors are in *.ROS file. Offset for Houston Astros Theme color is 13EAF4 Format simple hex color xxxxxx (don't forget in hex everything is upside down (left to right/right to left), so if your color in image editing software is 12 34 56, you have to type 56 34 12 in roster file)
