  3. Congrats man this is an all-time sports franchise IMO, MVPmods should create a HOF dynasty section and yours would certainly belong. Awesome work.
  4. My point Y4L is that Teixeira is safe by a MILE but his elementary decision to dive into first base made him appear out, which it ALWAYS DOES!
  5. Last night's ending to the Yankees/Orioles game is the perfect example of why not only does diving NEVER get you to the base faster, IT ALWAYS makes it appear as though you are out when you could be actually safe! This is not hard, Mark Teixeira!
  6. Gold gloves should not be in this argument if you want to discuss fielding then have at it with a player's UZR. Gold gloves are similar to all-star game appearances, it is often a popularity contest.
  7. I think what you are leaving out of the Ruth/Williams argument is that Ted missed 3 years of his PRIME (1943-1945) (Age 25-27) to serve in the military. When Williams played, he was the greatest on the field. He hit .388 at the age of 39!
  8. If we are talking all-time greatest, I think Ted Williams has to be starting. Also, to add another element to this roster, everyone can include a specific year of a player on their team. For example, Lou Gehrig (1934) starting at 1st base and Ken Griffey Jr. (1997) starting in centerfield. This should be fun.
  9. One more game on All-Star level, depends on how it goes, I might move on up to MVP.
  10. Owner mode is actually tricky with the year changer because when you advance the schedule ahead in years, you actually lose money for those years in which you essentially "skipped". Owner mode doesn't just skip those years, it tracks your money and you end up millions of dollars in debt.
