  1. Thank you Dennis. It's nice to see you back from your short stint over at 2k12 land.
  2. First off does anyone have any idea how Amazon prices some of their stuff? Some things they sell on there seem so out of whack that I say to myself it is a mistake but then I find out it is not. Here's what I mean. I have been doing a lot of spring cleaning lately and I've been getting rid of many things that are no longer important to me as they once were. For some reason unknown to me I have a large paperback book by a Detroit Sportswriter named Joe Falls called The Detroit Tigers: An Illustrated History. Amazon's selling the paperback version for $98.80! Check it out for yourself. My question is what the hell for?? The copy I own does not look like the cover that is being sold on Amazon. Mine is mostly white with a big picture of Al Kaline on it and to the right it has photos of Alan Trammell, Ty Cobb and Mark Fidrych. Let me know if this is something that is worth hanging on to because I really don't want anything from the Tigers especially after the Yankees choke job last October. Thank you.
  3. Just like you said, you are beating a dead horse. You asked this same question in another thread but you had to go ahead for some reason to create another thread asking the same thing. We all just found out that Mlbmods is down permanently. That means bye-bye, adios and sayonara. The reason why no one can upload it to the site is that those two mods do not belong to anybody except the guy who made them and if he decides to upload them here, he will. If not, that's his choice. So if that time ever comes I suggest you jump at the chance and get both of them and if it doesn't then you are out of luck. Many people (myself included) have both mods but as far as uploading them here for everyone, forget it
  4. This is probably the best news I've heard coming out of this website in a long time. To know you are going to continue to create season mods is admirable. Just take your time Don and be sure to enjoy the game as much as you enjoy creating the season mods. My hero!
  5. Thank you very much stecropper and Jim! I'm downloading it right now. :)
  6. Updated to 3-4 ...The events last week in that small Ohio town that left three young kids dead made me once again thank God that I am not part of the school system any longer. Who the hell knows what set off this latest maniac and made him bring a gun to school last Monday? Just put this killer on trial as an adult, convict him, send him to his cell and throw away the key. ...What got me was when it was all over and he was caught by the police he then said "I'm sorry!" Oh really? Well you should have thought of that before you ruined the lives of three families that won't see their kid anymore and countless others who are going to be scared to go back to school for a very long time. ...Thinking back, all the troublemakers did when I was in high school was smoke in the bathrooms or skip school. Those kids would be chewed up and spit out if they were in school today. ...I read this week that the net worth of Apple is more than the country of Poland. There's a joke in there somewhere but I won't go there. ...I wonder how popular the Playstation Vita (priced between $249 and $299) is going to be? I mean if I am going to pay that much I'd rather get the Playstation 3. ...It didn't take long for the Yankee - Red Sox bull**** to start up, didn't it? Thanks to Bobby Valentine, who even on his best days is still a stupid son of a *****, he had to make a point of taking jabs at A-Rod and Jeter during an interview when he talked about Jason Varitek's retirement. For reasons known only to him he praised Varitek for "beating up" Rodriguez back in 2004 and then went into detail about the famous flip play that Jeter did back in 2001 in the playoffs against Oakland, saying he was "out of position" and that he did not believe the Yankees practiced that play. Jeter's response? He didn't know why this was being brought up after all this time. My thoughts exactly. ...Personally I was sad to see Varitek retire. He was practically an automatic out when he came up to the plate the past few years. ...That sigh of relief you heard around the Steel City this week were Pirate fans when they learned A.J. Burnett would not be pitching for them for the next two or three months. ...There is nothing that I like about adding two more teams to the post season this year. Forget Bud Selig's reason that it would be good for baseball. The real reason why he did this was to make FOX and TBS happy. ...Pretty soon all you'll need to do is stay as close to the top as you can and you'll be assured of that extra playoff spot. Come October, let's see who the first team is to be screwed by Selig's new system. ...For those of us who can remember baseball without Bud Selig and only four teams in the post season, those are the good old days. ...Congratulations to former New York Giant Tiki Barber on his upcoming marriage but I think someone should have reminded him to get a divorce from his first wife before getting ready to marry the second one. That's usually how it goes. ...Great job Red Sox by piling up on a bunch of college kids as they embarrassed Northwestern yesterday by a score of 25 - 0. What are they doing, making up for the runs they didn't score last September?
  7. Ok, just take your time.
  8. Forget it!! You have no idea what I'm talking about. Good luck to you.
  9. Yeah, the thing is when you make a mod and you use stuff made by other modders you first go to them and ask them if you can use it. It is a courtesy among modders that has been around here since this site started back in '04. I really don't think you offended anyone, you just didn't know. If I were you I'd just ask the modders. And I'll ask you this question that I asked before. Why are you calling this mod Mvp 2011? The modders give permission. Not the moderators. Two different things.

  23. I saw a few of these the other day and I converted them over to hi-res for anyone who wants them. Not all the teams had their photos posted yet. So far I have not seen any from Philadelphia, Los Angeles or Toronto, just to name three. I hope you like them.
