  1. Yes I do. I use a program called Ultra-Edit or a program called Web Notepad and I edit the html file and put in details from the game. See above. I am the one that adds that stuff via a html editor. You can use Notepad to do this, but these programs I have listed above do a better job.
  2. I did not have any trouble with this program displaying the caught stealing. I had time today so I used the '62 Mets as a test. I tried to steal two bases, albeit with the wrong guy, but they did show up as attempted. I have no idea what that guy was crying about. 1934 Pittsburgh Crawfords
  3. 21 posts and you joined in December of '04? Somehow we will trudge on without you. If you want to go, then go. No one is kicking you out but yourself.
  4. Updated to 7-9 ...Either I am slow this morning or everyone else has been up hours before I was. Bravesj, RAM and Mark started the ball rolling this week already! Hey, suits me fine. Besides, I just woke up at 9am and I still got to try and get going here. It's also the first day of my vacation so I really wasn't in a hurry anyway. ...Actual conversation I heard when I was at a 7-11 on the July 4th holiday when I was in line waiting to pay: A customer came in and asked the clerk at the register if they were open today. The clerk responded "for only 24 hours sir." ...One more final thing about July 4th. I went to our town hall for the get-together they have each year. They have booths set up to sell things and food and drinks. I wore my sunglasses so I could appreciate the finer things there without being bugged by the wife. Good thing I did. I've been kicking myself for not bringing a camera phone. ...Got any All-Star predictions? I don't. I just don't want any Yankee player to get hurt. Oh yeah, and I hope the American League wins. ...Pretty soon the hype is going to start for the release of Madden 2007. I guess it's still a month away or so. On every forum I am on I read each year about how excited people are about this and then after they have it how disappointed they are once again in EA. And this happens each year without fail. ...Please keep Alfonso Soriano away from the Bronx. Don't we have enough problems? And no, I haven't read any rumors lately. It's just that the trade deadline is July 31st and the Yankees still have lots and lots of time to do something stupid. Let him stay in Washington. He's as lazy as the politicians they got there. ...Other Yankee thoughts I've been wondering about. Is Chacon on his way out? I don't want them to get Bobby Abreau. Where's he going to play when Matsui and Sheffield get back? Being more consistent is the key in the second half and it would help if Johnson actually pitched good too. ...By the way, I'm still on vacation. I like to say that. ...It's almost a blessing I have this time off because last week I was working in the yard and I did more than I should (as I put a lot of pressure on the knees) and the last four days I have been walking around has been, well let's say not fun. So a lot of ice on it this week and better judgement on my part.
  5. I read this a few days ago and I didn't understand what you were talking about. Then I forgot about it for a bit and after RAM made his post in here and I read it, I was reminded of what you said about this. Now, here is what I said: Please tell me how I hate people that have pools??? I said I envy the people that have them. As in it's nice you have one so you can use it any time you wish. Anyone who read that correctly could see what I mean. I have no reason to hate a person because they happen to own a swimming pool.
  6. Updated to 7-2 ....Lately in my spare time I have been going to youtube.com to watch videos of just about anything you can think of. It's one of my favorite sites on the web. ....I was watching the NFL Network the other day and they had a special on Bo Jackson. It's been 12 years since he last played in the major leagues and he had a lot of talent, and his football career was just as good too. This was a guy who was not all about himself. He wasn't a big talker or a bragger. He just went out and showed you what he can do and whatever sport he played he impressed. I still consider him to be the greatest athlete I ever saw. ...This current Yankee team is four games out right now and they actually should be grateful for that. They've been underachieving for the entire month of June and I don't see any signs of them breaking out of it. It makes watching their games difficult. ...I don't know about anyone else, but I hate Miracle Whip. I mean what the hell is this crap? I remember the first time I tried this stuff. It looks just like mayonnaise so I thought (wrongly) that it was mayonnaise. Never before did I spit anything out as fast as I did that sandwich. And since that time I have gone to great lengths to avoid this crap. Damn, all you got to do is feed this stuff to the captured Al-Quada terrorists every day and they'll be giving out secrets in no time. ...Short week for me this week, as I only work four days and then I am off for one whole week next week. I always like to take the week of my birthday off so I can do nothing and just enjoy it the entire day. ...I still have not attended any baseball games this year and that kind of bothers me. But when you live in a minor league AAA town you have to pick and choose if you want to watch the Yanks on YES or go out to see the local team. Maybe if they are in town next week I'll try. ...I did my part for this year's All Star voting in baseball by not voting for anyone. I may in the minority here where I believe the fans should not vote for the players. It is always a popularity contest and you'll always see someone every year getting royally screwed. So, I don't vote. ...And if you are thinking "would I have voted for any of the Yankees?" let me tell you right now the answer would be no. Just thinking about them right now gets me mad. ...Any of you guys with a swimming pool out there I envy you! Man, it's been hot here. ...Yesterday was Canada Day so I want to salute our Northern neighbors with a "Happy Canada Day" and I hope you all had a nice day. ...And for us down here, I hope you all have a safe and happy fourth of July on Tuesday. ...Happy Birthday to George Steinbrenner and Al Davis, July 4th by the way.
  7. Updated to 6-25 ...I went to go see Adam Sandler's movie "Click" last night and it wasn't bad at all. I think the more this guy makes movies the better he is getting. While on the other hand you get someone like Will Ferrell, who's got a new movie coming out where he plays a Nascar driver and this guy get worse and worse each time out. Nothing that guy has ever done has ever been funny to me. ...I'm proud to say I have not watched one second of the 2006 World Cup. Soccer is a game that I'll play on the computer or X-box but I can't watch it on TV because I'll nod off. ...What is it with these damn pitchers? Why the hell are they so fragile? Let me just use the Yankees as an example because I know them best. Carl Pavano, who has not pitched in the Major Leagues it seems since Clinton was in office, is always just about to come back and pitch and then something else happens and he has to have another surgery. Now Octavio Dotel, who was just about to come back and help out, has elbow inflammation. ...Here's one for you in the "What the hell were they thinking" department: Not too long ago some guy was paving his driveway around here. From the look of it, he did a good job. The driveway looked fine. As you know with a job like this, when you finish you stay the hell off the driveway until it is dry. Someone must not have told him this because when he got done he blocked off the end of the driveway with garbage cans so no one could drive up the driveway but before he did that, he drove his own car up the wet driveway, parked it there and left it there while the driveway was still wet. Explain that. ...What bothers me most as working as an admin in here is not the name calling that Mark and I get, that's part of the job description. It's the assumption that we are stupid when people come back and make duplicate accounts. Here's what I mean: djm65 was suspended recently. He's done. He came back with a new name......djm1965. "Yeah", djm probably said to himself,"they'll never know it's me!" ...People that keep their dogs in the car when they are out someplace on a hot summer day really get me mad. I saw some dog panting like crazy yesterday when I had to stop and get gas. And here's something that happened around here just a few weeks ago. This lady went to go see a movie and she kept her five month old puppy in the car while she did it. It was in the 90's that day and the dog ended up dying of heat stroke. She was charged with animal cruelty. I'm not ashamed to admit that when I read this I shed some tears for that little dog. Really everyone, what makes people do things like this? ...Years ago, the trading deadline was June 15th. I liked that a lot better than the way they have it now because with the extra 45 days it gives the Yankees more time to do something stupid. ...This is the only time of the year where Baseball is the only sport playing. Football's training camp is a month away. The NHL is done as well as the NBA. For awhile this great sport has center stage. I just hope while we have the spotlight now that no new steroids news comes out. ...Watching part of the FOX game of the week yesterday confirmed to me that the FOX team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver have adopted the Boston Red Sox as their favorite team and Jonathan Paplebon as the greatest person who ever lived, followed closely by David Ortiz. ...I know this one guy who made Chicken Noodle soup in the microwave and didn't put a lid on the bowl and the soup went all over the place in there. Ok, ok, ok. It was me. I spent a half hour cleaning the *&$&**% thing too. I had to get it done before you-know-who got home. ...I just really love the summer. It's the most relaxing part of the year for me. For you guys who live in the non-snow states, I envy you.
  8. Updated to 6-18 ...Just want to start this off by saying how worried I am. I am worried because I have been reading about rumors that the Yankees are looking to re-acquire Alfonso Soriano. I don't know why the Yanks want this waste of space back, but the good thing is Washington is demanding way too much in Phillip Hughes or Chien-Ming Wang. ...I just love my JAX Yankee sunglasses. Now I can honestly say I see the world through Yankee colored glasses. Here's a picture of the glasses, although this picture features Orioles glasses, you can try and picture what the Yankee ones look like. I couldn't find a Yankee one anywhere, but I am sure after I post this four people will. ...My God I just had another terrible thought about Soriano. You see all the hustle that Cano and Cabrera show? If Soriano gets back on the team I guarantee you'll see those two play like they are sleepwalking within a month. ...For anyone that uses the Box Score Extractor that is available on this site and you want to edit the html in it, you can give Web Notepad or Ultra Edit a shot. I use this because EA at times does not know how to keep score. ...It was hot as hell yesterday (over 90 here) and I still saw someone walk around wearing a coat. ...I saw the Davinci code last week. Great movie. When I left the theater I wondered to myself how much was fiction and how much was truth? ...The next movie I have to go and see when it comes out is Adam Sandler's Click. The previews at least looked good for that movie and Sandler's previous movie (The Longest Yard) was pretty good. So I hope this is ok. Just as long as Ben Stiller or Will Ferrell isn't there, it should be fine. ...Card dealers are *&^&*. I went to a card show recently not really looking for anything in particular to buy. I ended up getting some mid 70's Yankee cards. But one thing I saw was the Kirby Puckett stuff they were pushing. Now around here in upstate NY, Puckett didn't get that much attention, even when he was playing. He got some, but not a lot. But now these guys, because he is dead, have jacked up the prices on him. Sometimes the American way is as tastless as it comes. ...Unconfirmed reports state that everytime Alfonso Soriano steps in an elevator he has to have someone push the buttons for him because he's too lazy to do it himself. I believe it. ...Hey, happy Father's day to all you fathers out there. Kick back and take it easy, you all deserve it.
  9. Hell yeah, I'll give it to you. Why not. EAT-****-GOBUY-THE-GAME-BONEHEAD. Cut and paste that and you'll be all set.
  10. Of course not, anyone can. I just have to make sure I adjust the thread to the proper date.
  11. Updated to 6-11 ...What a tough week in here for me this week. Or at least I should say a tough past few days. That's more accurate. I don't want to go on and elaborate, but when you do this kind of job on a message board it is safe to say you won't make everyone happy. You want to, but you always come up short. Anyway, move on. This will be a good week, you always have to hope. ...I always seem to have the bad habit of searching around on the TV and finding a really good movie on it that I really want to see and it always seems to be almost done. Why can't I find it when it first starts? ...Telling you right now, if you only grab one mod from here this week please make it Ty Wiggin's box score extractor. That guy is amazing. ...Not all new versions of things are good upgrades. I tried to upgrade to Yahoo IM v7.5 and it kept crashing on me when I tried to start it. The latest YIM has voice and phone options. So I said what the heck, I'll try it, After I didn't get it to work I went right back to version 6.0 and now I can log back on to YIM and I can live happily ever after. ...Thanks a lot Yankees. Only that team can show how good they can play this game early in the week against Boston and then show how bad to play this game later on the week. Inconsistent is how you describe them. And oh yeah, Randy Johnson is for real. Really bad. ...Looked at my X-Box yesterday with the thought of turning it on. Resisted once again. ...I really wish it would warm up around here so the grass would stop growing this fast. ...Five more weeks I believe until my vacation. I should know this. Let me check. No I was wrong, I only work four more weeks and I got the second week of July off to do the work I was born to do: nothing. ...I can't say enough about Sony CDR's. They are dependable. Others I like are Fuji and Imation. I never have a problem with them. It's those cheap *&$&^*( ones with no name on it that sometimes screw me up. ...My favorite part of Sunday is right now. Early morning and everyone here is still asleep. Nothing beats the quiet. ...My speakers almost broke yesterday. I made a mistake of listening to a .mp3 from Mark from some group called Moorish Delta 7. I couldn't make out one thing they said.
  12. Ok, that works. Now the next game I play I use kraw's layout and compare the two. Now I got to try to figure out how to put the player photos on this, then I will be ok
  13. God damnit What the hell did I do wrong?
  14. Wonderful, just wonderful. What a great utility. Here's my latest game, and it was fun reading about it after I completed it. 1941 Yankees
  15. Hory, I didn't think you knew about this thread. Welcome. And I wish you would post here on Sundays.
  16. No you are not. You shouldn't even have that one. Put a new one up please Emil. I hardly see your posts so that could be one of the reasons why you've had this up for so long. There is a rule for no animated avatars. I'm sorry.
  17. JDK has been on this board for over two years now and has 58 total posts. I just checked out all his posts and most of them deal with insults towards someone else in here. He doesn't post much, but he makes his potshots count. Now JDK, don't post in this thread ever again. And if you ever want to see post 59, I suggest you show a bit more respect to Mark.
  18. Mark, what does that mean in English? 29 celcius is what in fahrenhiet?
  19. Some people (like me) didn't know where to get .NET framework to help run this program so Mark gave me a link for it and I thought I would put it this thread in case any of you need this to run the Box Score Extractor: Net Framework.
  20. Updated to 6-4 ...Ahh, there's nothing like a sunny summer morning as I sit here typing this out with my window open listening for the neighborhood to wake up for the day. Trouble is, today is not the day for it because it's pouring over here and it has been since early yesterday morning. We were only supposed to get "passing showers" but I guess they decided to pull over and stay awhile. ...One more thing about the rain and I'll end it with that. I was supposed to go and see the AAA Yankee team, the Columbus Clippers yesterday but it got rained out. Today there is a scheduled doubleheader and it looks like that is in doubt too. And this is the only time Columbus comes to town in 2006. ...Melky Cabrera really has my interest on the Yankees now. This kid has a great arm! He can hit and run and he is getting more confident each day. I am hoping that Sheffield is not signed next year so Cabrera has a place. ...I know it might be a bit early to wish some of you a happy summer off, but I don't want to forget to do it. Enjoy it and don't waste it. There's only a handful of summers that you have for yourselves before you start working or do whatever you will do in life. I had all my summers and I didn't waste a single one. They were the happiest times in my life. ...Last night the wife was looking at a catalog and I asked her what she was looking for. She replied "Christmas ideas for other people." True story. How the hell do you respond to that? I don't want to think about that crap until November. ...The puppy's operation went well and now she is running around the house like she was before and I'm tripping over her like I was before. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that dog. ...I guess I will pull for the Mavericks to win the NBA title instead of Miami because I like the state of Texas much better then I like Florida because Florida sucks. And in the NHL, Carolina and Edmonton are very close to pick. That's a toss up, although the guys in here that follow hockey more closely than I do might disagree. ...The Red Sox come to Yankee Stadium this week and I hope Scott Proctor gets a chance to get even with Money Ramirez in one of the games. ...And a big thank you goes to Roger Clemens for remaining in Houston to pitch for those guys and not coming to New York to steal more of the Yankees' money. ...Are any of you sick of getting sales calls? Well here's a tip for you the next time you get someone on the line that "is calling about this great new offer". When you find out it is a sales call, set the phone down on the table and get back to watching tv or whatever you are doing. Pretty soon they will get the hint and hang up.
  21. Thank you RAM for coming in here and posting. Excellent post!
  22. Snepp, can you PM it to me? When I click to download it, a new page opens up and then it times out on me. I don't know why.
