Now wait a second. How do you know this? Verlander could be throwing hard tonight but just missing his spots and when he does the Yankee hitters can take advantage of it. Just because they are the Astros does not mean they play a perfect game every game. Let’s see what we see.
-
Yes they did. And they deserved it too.
-
4 out of 10, 51 seconds. I was beat before I even started this one!
-
In that case I hope he keeps it up. But even he has to realize that the Yankees are not as bad as he says they are.
-
7 out of 10, 85 seconds. We had some tough ones today!
-
And a big thank you goes right back at you for pointing out nothing. You don’t bother to say why this is “completely broken” and explain why you are having problems. These guys in here are very good at helping people but they are not mind readers. Explain yourself much better if you want help.

I was nervous for every pitch. Now they go back to New York and hopefully wrap it up. Cole did wonderful out there and had seven strong innings.
-
So do I. It was a tough one. He didn't do it tonight and the Yankees are still hanging in there. I'm nervous but hopeful.
-
10 out of 10, 50 seconds. A good one today. I don't know how many times I have done the same thing!
-
6 out of 10, 54 seconds. I don't know if anyone can get a perfect score today. These were very hard, but I hope they do.
-
Again, you are half right. Remember, Bieber was pitching. He is no slouch or pushover. Yes, they blew their chances later in the game but there is no way you can believe they will lose tonight because of yesterday.
-
No, not at all. They didn’t hit well because they went up against Shane Bieber who as we all know is no slouch. Tomorrow is a must game and with Severino going we can win it. Taillon was the hard luck loser. He give up two bloops and the Indians get the lead. If you want to blame someone blame Donaldson. Without Judge the Yankees would not be playing right now.
-
Yes I did. 🙂 10 out of 10, 47 seconds.
-
6 out of 10, 50 seconds. I only knew three of the answers. The others were just blind luck.
-
Come on now, I know you were nervous. So was I. I am nervous this time of year with anyone on the mound. But Cole did great and the way he got out of the third inning will do nothing but build his confidence.
-
I think we let the game play out first.
-
5 out of 10, 56 seconds. The miracle is that I got five right.
-
8 out of 10, 73 seconds. I got the first eight right and then blew it.
-
9 out of 10, 41 seconds. I should have got them all right. I should have! But I didn't.
-
Well, let's just see. If he gives six or seven good innings he will have done his job. Yes it is and isn't that nice? He gave them a terrible excuse for not showing up and it was so bad that not even Boone believed it. The Yankees told him to stay in Miami and not even bother coming to the Bronx during the ALDS. He also got fined. Thank God! After this he will be wearing another uniform next year. This is what the great Branch Rickey used to call "addition by subtraction." Having Chapman off the roster is bad news for the Indians. They were depending on him walking a few of them when he came in the game during the series.

Oh, this is a story that has gone down in Yankee lore. That is exactly what happened and Mantle had such a bad infection that he was limited to about six at-bats in the 1961 World Series. Can you imagine this happening today? Mel Allen would be fired. The doctor would have been fired and lost his license. Both would have been sued. Someone would have written a book. A movie or an ESPN documentary would have been made. Twitterites would have chimed in with conspiracy theories. So when people say things were better years ago, believe them.

7 out of 10, 71 seconds. The ones I missed I had no chance with.
-
10 out of 10, 54 seconds. A nice rebound from yesterday.

That has nothing to do with it. Pitching, timely hitting and good fielding will be what they need to get to the ALCS.
