  1. And now the Texas Rangers with a 55 - 94 record come into town. Already I am worried. Texas is going to look like a first place team when the Yankees get done with them. 😧 Also before I forget here is some more words of wisdom and comfort from Aaron Boone. “We’ve got to do better than this. That’s an awful couple of days out there,” Aaron Boone said. “We’ve got to get better in a hurry.” Really? No kidding. Who knew???
  2. First off we should give Cole a break. Sure he had an awful game but with a 15 - 8 record and a 3.03 ERA he has had a good year. If other members of the pitching staff would have done their jobs maybe this would not have been a must-win game yesterday. And I should also include the entire team here. Many changes need to be made before next year. I don't give a damn who goes as long as Sanchez is one of them. Torres and Frazier too.
  3. Thank you Manny Machado for telling off hot dog Tatis.
  4. Yeah that is a fix for one game. When the next game comes Boone is going to put him right back in. I don't know what the Yankees are planning for the off-season and I could care less who stays and who goes with but Sanchez has to be the first one out the door.
  5. I don't get it either. And I don't want to hear about any of them saying that they are going to "turn it around" very soon. And here he is folks, the man of the hour. The worst catcher in all of baseball.
  6. I saw how Boston had no problem with Baltimore last night and it just makes me wonder why the Yankees couldn't do the same thing. I'm happy with last night's win but at the same time they are not going to hit five home runs in one game all the time. I would love to see them score eight runs one time without the benefit of a home run. And if anyone is interested you can go to the New York Post sports page and you'll see an article about Sanchez. Clay Holmes was charged with the loss in Baltimore but really Sanchez should've caught that ball that led to the Orioles tying the score. But you never know this could be beneficial in the off-season because the Yankees (at least in my opinion) are probably tired of watching that guy hardly make an effort game after game. Excuses cannot be made for him over and over. Remember last off-season when they made a big thing about bringing in a new catching coach? Well I think it would've worked but Sanchez has proven time and again that he is no catcher and while I'm at it he is no hitter either.
  7. I understand your disappointment. They are not hitting and if I were hitting coach Marcus Thames I would expect to be fired sometime in the off-season.
  8. And by the way let's take time out to salute Nestor Cortes, who is quietly having a very good year. It's very easy to see the ones on this team who are having a lousy year but this guy deserves the right recognition.
  9. Yes, at least four. But there is plenty of blame to be thrown around for the position that they are in.
  10. I asked myself that this morning. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they won but they just made it last night. When the Orioles play the Yankees they play like they are contenders.
  11. Ryan Braun retired yesterday. Damn, I thought he already did that.
  12. What the heck has happened to the Padres? When the season started they were supposed to compete for the National League's top spot. Now they may not make the playoffs. Also, why do some ball players do this when they are rounding the bases after a home run? And don't say to silence the crowd because this goof did it in Toronto.
  13. What the hell just happened? They won!!! You are going back a few years.
  14. Maybe so! Now come to this thread here from now on to talk about Yankee stuff. In it we can: 1. Call for Sanchez' head on a plate. 2. Scream at Chapman. 3. Be amazed when someone doesn't get hurt. And mostly be very happy if and when they turn things around.
  15. A minor move has been made today where the Yankees discussion from this thread right here will now be conducted here. While this may be an "official" thread so to speak, any fan of any team can come in and say what is on their mind at any time. Well, that's that. Here we go.
  16. Moving on.... 1. Aaron Judge was removed from the game in the third inning because he was dizzy. Yeah, ok. Go sit on the bench next to Clint Frazier. 2. Luis Severino is scheduled to throw another bullpen session Monday. If all goes well, he could throw next in a live bullpen session or begin another rehab assignment. Why? We are getting into mid-September now. Send the SOB home. 3. Andrew Velazquez was sent back to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He was showing too much enthusiasm for this team and he had to go.
  17. This is the second time you've said this in a matter of days and it's obvious that you are just coming in here just to see how much you can stir things up. People used to gripe about the "Yankee complaining" in the shout box so because of that we had to move it in here so a lot of people would not see it. I'm not saying you were one of the ones who complained about it there and I am sure you weren't. But you sure as hell have made up for it here. What I am trying to say is who comes in here to talk baseball? Just glance over the past few pages in the thread. There is not an overflow of people that come here to talk about the games. But yet you got to give those a hard time who want to talk about baseball and if it is concerning the shoddy way the Yankees are playing then that is how it is. From now on the next time you step in to see if anything's changed and it has not then just leave. Your sarcastic and passive aggressive comments are not needed or welcomed.
  18. 22 runs the Blue Jays scored today. It will take the Yankees six games to score that many.
  19. I got to thinking about that and it wouldn't work. These spineless crybabies will never play for Martin. Good win tonight. Chapman almost lost it and if Sanchez was catching the Mets would have won. In other news general manager Bryce Harper designated RHP Vince Velasquez for assignment. The only reason why I bring this up is I hope Cashman does not go after him. It's all we need right now.
  20. How many more ways will MLB suck up to Shohei Ohtani???
  21. I saw that play in the first inning and after that I knew they were going to lose. Just a feeling I had. Can you imagine Sanchez playing for someone like Billy Martin? Holy sh**!! He'd of beaten up and benched this moron months ago. You may as well not say slip, sliding away anymore. They've already slipped and they've slid away. They deserve all the scorn and ridicule that will be hurled on them. I have honestly had it.
  22. What's today's excuse and more importantly who is going to get hurt today?
  23. Oh no!!!!!! Whatever will we do now?
  24. Chris Sale has Covid. I don't wish this on anyone but it is odd to see someone else that does not play for the Yankees get Covid. I even hope this prick gets better soon.
