  1. You can get it by using MVPedit. You can rename them if you want, but the players in the game are not based on anyone. It is not like the old football games where you could just rename WR #1 Braylon Edwards and have his ratings.

  3. Thanks, but that is just an .mp3 of a bat sound. The problem was not that I did not have a good sound clip available, it was that I have no idea where the sound goes in the MVP audio files.
  4. No new bat sound because we couldn't find the file. The bats just have the appearance of aluminium bats.
  5. I'll look into that and might fix it in a patch later. As for the roster, I ranked the teams 1-124 and assigned ratings based on teams from a different roster. The players were named using a random name generator. So no, the players are not based on real college players.

  7. After literally years of hard work, The MVP NCAA Baseball mod has finally been finished. bctrackboi11 and I put a lot of work into this and we are happy to have it finally finished.     Welcome to the MVP NCAA Baseball total conversion mod. This project was created by rroy0824 and bctrackboi11. This mod contains the following: - 124 NCAA teams complete with full 2x uniform sets, logos, and "rosters". - 23 custom NCAA stadiums, a group of generic stadiums, and a group of MLB/MILB stadiums that host NCAA games. - Aluminum bats. - Full frontend and background updates and an ESPN overlay/audio. *Note: This mod is for play now and exhibition mode only. You will not be able to play a full dynasty with all 124 teams due to limitations in the game. Credit for help goes out to Homer, Jim825, grmrpr1313, and dennisjames71. How to Install - After you have downloaded the "MVP_NCAA.7z" file, double-click to open it. - Extract the contents of the MVP_NCAA.7z file into a folder. - Double-click the "explodeme.exe' file. - Select the folder that contains a CLEAN (meaning no mods installed) copy of MVP Baseball 2005 and click "Extract". Note: A CLEAN copy is a fresh install or non-modded install of the game with EA's patches installed (see below). - Allow the program to extract all of the new content. If the installer asks for your permission to overwrite files, select "Yes to All" - When installation is complete, start the game and play the new MVP NCAA Baseball mod! NOTES 1) It is recommended that you install MVP NCAA Baseball over a clean install of MVP Baseball 2005 with at least up to Patch #2. 2) To be able to access all of the uniforms, it will be necessary for you to install a Profile that unlocks all classic uniforms and stadiums. 3) Make sure to turn off the "Cooperstown Effect" to be able to play with all the stadiums.
  9. Thanks, bctrackboi11 and I put a lot of work into this and it will be nice to have it finished. Thanks, but I doubt it. Audio modding is one of the only things I struggle with in this game. I looked in the files and searched the site for some help, but no luck. The problem is no one has ever done it so there is not much help on it and not many modders are still around, Thanks for your help. For what its worth, your tools did work with Windows 10.
  10. Well, here is an update. As I said in the shoutbox the other day, the mod has been finished for a little bit now. Unless something goes wrong, I will be releasing it sometime between Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. This release contains the following: -124 NCAA teams complete with full 2x uniform sets, logos, and "rosters". -23 custom NCAA stadiums, a group of generic stadiums, and a group of MLB/MILB stadiums that host NCAA games. -Aluminum bats (never could figure out the sound, but oh well). -Full frontend and background updates and an ESPN overlay/audio. Note you will not really be able to play a dynasty with this mod because of limitations in the game. Sometime after the mod is released (hours or days later, depends on how things go) I will be uploading 2 other files: 1) A file to change uniforms to 1x. 2) The ability to play as Akron. I made this set before Akron got rid of its baseball program and they were replaced in the mod with Coastal Carolina. Figure it won't get too many downloads, but I already made them. I'll probably start a new support thread then as well, but I just wanted to let people know whats going on.
  11. I don't think the file is separated into cells, so I would say no. It is relatively easy to do with notepad. Just change the values that Gordo said and click save.
  12. So I ran the ResChanger and now I get black bars for menu and full screen for in game play. It switches during the loading screen. Kind of odd, but better than before, I guess. Still, I had it full screen for both with Windows 7 and would like to get back to that.
  13. I was able to resist the update to Windows 10 until now. MVP runs fine except there are black bars on the sides of my screen. I know there is a way to fix this, but for the life of me can't remember or figure it out. I know there is a setting somewhere with the graphics card to stretch it and I know I was able to do it with Windows 7. Any ideas? The card is Intel HD 3000.
  14. 947 uniforms is the grand total for this mod. Here are the selection screens for all of them. Keep in mind that this was made over the course of a few years. It would have been impossible to keep up with all the changes. Our rule was once a team was done then that was that. It is getting there guys. Still no time table, but progress is being made.   17. -Rosters are done. -Loading screens and backgrounds are done. -Logos and LOC files are being chipped away at. -You can see the stadium list above. We still could use help. -We have only 4 teams worth of uniforms that need to be completed. There are 123 teams total with somewhere around or above 1,000 uniforms. It will be completed.

    I think you are talking about the bevel of the A. Basically you edit the letter to reflect how the light would hit it if it was 3d.   19. Not a bad start, but some parts look a little choppy. If you want, send me the stadium and I can give you a little more constructive criticism.
  20. Is that the image you edited? If so make sure it is the same size as the orignial image. Also make sure it is a 24 bit .bmp If you want, pm me the file and I'll take a look for you.
  21. So here is basically how I do this. It may not be the best way and bctrackboi may even do things differently, but this works for me. Attached are some tools that you need. Take all of them except nfshtool.exe and put them in a folder with a copy of your stadium file. Right click on unpack.bat, click edit, replace stadiumname.big with the stadium name file (example a001day.big), and press save. Do the same with pack.bat. Now click on unpack and you should get a bunch of files. Look for cram32.fsh and drag it into nfshtool.exe to open it. This should give you a file with all the stadium textures, except things like sky, grass, and crowd. Those are in other files and are done the same way. Now find the texture you want to replace, edit it, save it, make multiple copies at different sizes by scaling the image in Photoshop, and, if needed, create a grayscale alpha the same way. Note that the textures are 24 Bit .BMP files and the alphas are 8 Bit .BMP grayscale. The best way to create the alpha is to use the old one and take out whatever you don't need by blacking it out. Black will make the old textures transparent. Then drag the index file to nfshtool.exe, click on pack.bat and you are all set. If you need to change something else, say the sky, then you need to added it to the pack file. For example, if you were adding the cram32.fsh and the sky0.fsh the pack file would read: eazip +a stadiumname.big cram32.fsh sky0.fsh This may be rushed, but I hope it is easy enough to follow. Like I said, it may or may not be the best way to do it, but it works. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Tools.rar
