Heres a good example of the Silent followers for MVP that I refer too. DannyT been around for 4 years here, has 300 posts. Yet he is a faithful down loader of mods. I think there are alot of guys like him still here. Im positive not as many, but we are here. To the Silent Majority, it helps modders know that they arent doing this for a handful of people if we get active in thanking and commenting on these good peoples work. the feedback is always appreciated so they know how to improve what they may do in the future, and to know what people really would like to see in the future. if a mod gets 300 downloads, and recieves 6 posts in its thread, a modder might figure no one really liked what they did. they may figure no one cares, and decide to go buy a PS3 and play the show. One less modder for us......... Lets not foret its the off season, many folks are baseballed out and playing Football and such. They will be back.

Id personally say that while the number may not be as great as they were back in the day, there is still alot of people who come here to get more mods for mvp2005. I also think it is a silent group, mostly people who are here for the mods, take them home and play them. I dont know how many of these people want up to the minute uniforms, but many do i would guess. If I ever did, id come to you with a donation for sure, as you have a good following.

This is exactly the kind of thing that these forums need to be saved for. I had this exact problem, 4 1/2 years after this guy. One quick search, and pow, my problem is solved. Thanks AGAIN for saving it Trues.

well sal, Im not the resident mvp expert but i will take a swing at helping you here with what I think i know. first of all to keep rosters set in place during the season your going to want to make your parameters as no trades, no injuries, no suspensions, and perhaps finances off as well. this will keep the AI from having reason to change the other teams you dont control in the league. I assume this is going to have some effect on your off season transactions, but as far as I know there's nothing you can do about free agents signing with other teams...... I usually only run one season at a time in dynasty mode with TC or other mods for that reason. However one thing i can think of that you might do before you start your dynasty is use MVP edit to go through and give every player in the league a max years contract so that there are no free agents for 5 or is it 7 (?) seasons. What the AI will do with rookies it generates I dont know, but you will have players retiring also. Like I said typically its a one season shot as far as I know. hope it helps, maybe someone who knows more will chime in and we will both learn something. dave

My first game was in Old Tiger Stadium, Id say 1982or83 against the Angels. I will never forget stepping out of the concourse and into the upperdeck, some 6 miles away from home plate (seems to me anyway as an 8 year old kid) But all that green grass! so awesome. After i got a job, and had some cash to blow, i went to tiger stadium like as a religion, at least a dozen times a year 89-90-91. Never forget seeing Travis Frymans first big league homer, and watching Bo Jackson of the visiting team trade the fan who caught it a Bo Jackson bat for the ball and tossing the ball to the Tiger dugout. First class act. Well Ive been to Comerica Park about 5 times and its nice, but its no Tiger Stadium. also been to Lansings minor league park 2 times, maybe we'll go this year too, LAnsings pretty close to home these days Jack Morris, Alan Trammell, Sweet Lou, Gibby, and LAnce, Cecil and Nokes, Geirmo and Henneman I'll never forget those guys. I miss Michigan and Trumbull.
