  1. Cinergy Field Mod

Cinergy Field Mod V1.0 by EdTench

I have been tinkering around with Cinergy Field on and off for a few months now and decided to share my mod with the MVPMODS gang.

I liked the look of Cinergy Field after the centerfield seating was removed to make room for the Great American Ballpark. I thought having an open vista from centerfield had improved the aesthetics of Cinergy and wished they had done that well before beginning construction on GABP.

The main thing I did with the original Cinergy Field stadium was replace the in-construction GABP with a more aesthetically pleasing version of US Bank Arena, which has always been close to Cinergy and now GABP. I used Zmod for some of the modding and then altered some of the image files.

    I hope you enjoy it.

  2. Reds Fantasy Uniforms for 2012

REDS FANTASY UNIFORMS FOR 2012 BY EdTench

These are some uniforms I made for the Reds. I used KC uniform template (v.2) for all of the jerseys and sleeves and for all but the pinstriped pants. I think that the pinstripe pants came from an earlier mod, most likely one of Spungo’s. These uniforms are 1X rather than 2X so they should work well even with older, less speedy computers.

To install, unrar the main download file "REDS_FANTASY_UNIS_EDTENCH.rar." Once unpacked, you'll see some image files and the “REDS_UNIS.zip” file. The "REDS_UNIS.zip" file contains the uniform files and the font files. For best results, use TiT to install these uniforms. Remember to back up your models.big file before you attempt to install.

If you want to install only a few of the uniforms, you will need to unzip the “REDS_UNIS.zip” file, select the uniforms you want to install, and then re-zip them into another zip file so you can use TiT to install that. You can also change the file names for the uniforms but need to make sure that the default hard-coded front jersey numbers are compatible with the uniform.

I have also included the jersey BMP images to go into the 020.fsh file that goes into the uniforms.big file. This will allow the new uniforms to show up in the uniform select screen. As always, back up your uniform.big file before doing this. You may not have all the uniform slots available in the 020.fsh file depending on which mods you have installed.

I hope you enjoy these uniforms as much as I had fun making them.

  3. 1911 Cincinnati Reds Home and Away Uniforms

This uniform commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1911 season. According to the Baseball Hall of Fame uniform database, the 1911 season was the first time the Reds uniforms included a logo having the C with the Reds name inside. This distinctive logo was used only for the 1911 season but a similar and more familiar wishbone-shaped logo first saw use two years later in 1913.

I tried to get this 1911 replica uniforms as close as possible to that shown in the database. I was able to texture the cloth to give it an "old-timey" appearance. I have it set up to install into slots u020e (home) and u020f (away) but you can install it where you like.

The main RAR file includes the uniform files (u020e and u020f), a blank font file (f020e anf f020f) if you don't want to see the players' names or numbers, and bitmap images to upload to you uniforms.big file. I hope you enjoy these uniforms.

Version 1.5 Notes: Version 1.5 contains the blue away uniform for 1911 and the original home uniform posted as Version 1.

  4. Cincinnati Reds Retro Striped Uniform

This retro uniform is intended to capture the spirit of those worn in 1882- the colorful "clown costumes" that corresponded to the position played. This uniform is based on one worn by Reds second baseman Bid McPhee in 1882.

For the jerseys I used the "throwback template" available for download on this site. For the other uniform parts I used a combination of modded MVP 2005 parts and the trousers from Thome's nice 1869 Redstockings uniforms.

The main zip file ("Reds Retro Stripes") contains an image of the jersey front, and image of Bid McPhee's jersey for reference, and another zip file containing the uniform files (u020o.fsh and f020o.fsh). The font file is a blank font so that numbers and names will not show on the jersey.

Thanks to all modders and players who keep this great game going. I am pleased to offer this odd but cool-looking uniform for your use.

  5. 1900 Cincinnati Reds Uniforms

These are replica Cincinnati Reds uniforms from 1900. I referenced the Baseball Hall of Fame uniform database to create these uniforms. I think they are good representations of the uniforms from that year and I'm pleased to post them here at MVPMODS.

The main zip file includes another zip file with the actual uniform files and font files and also 3 image files to show you what the uniforms look like. The font files are "blank fonts" since the 1900 Reds uniforms had neither numbers or names on them.

Most of the uniform parts were modded from stock MVP 2005 uniforms from various teams. I did borrow the away uniform cap from the excellent 1913 Reds mod by The Spungo because it is virtually identical to the cap shown in the uniform database for the 1900 Reds.

  7. 1927 Cincinnati Reds Uniforms for TC 1927 (Version 2)

These home and away uniforms are designed for use in the Total Classics 1927 mod. In that mod, they will replace uniforms 020g (home) and 020h (away). You can use TiT to install the uniforms. This file includes the uniform files that go into models.big and the images that go into uniforms.big.

Version 2 makes the following changes from Version 1 to enhance the appearance and authenticity of the uniforms.

    * fixed sleeves for both home and away uniforms
    * changed belt color for home and away uniforms
    * changed logo on manager's jacket

  8. Reds Concept Alternate Home Uniform for 2011

This concept uniform is based on the actual 2011 Reds batting practice uniform. The uniform used a script "Reds" across the chest instead of the usual Reds logo. This mod uses the original MVP 2005 batting practice uniform as a template.

  9. 1908 Cincinnati Reds home uniform

This is a fairly faithful rendition of the 1908 Reds home uniform. The Zip file contains the uniform file (u020o), the font file, and the BMP image to load into your uniforms.big file.

  10. 1927 Cincinnati Reds Uniforms for TC 1927

These uniforms for the 1927 Reds are based as closely as possible on the actual uniforms from that year. I used several components from various Reds unis modded by The Spungo and also created authentic-looking socks, logos, and uniform colors for the 1927 season. My intention was to use them in the Total Classics 1927 mod to replace the nice 1940s Reds uniforms originally in that mod.

The zip file contains the uniform.fsh files for home and away and the bitmaps to place into the uniforms.big file. For the Total Classics 1927 mod, the uniforms go into the u020g (home) and the u020h (away) slots. These uniforms do not have player names or numbers so a font file is not needed.
