  1. Is this regarding the "contests"? I think it would be better to simply display all entries and allow other users to vote on their favorite one--either through a poll or by simply stating which one they like best. Afterwards, the votes would be tallied and the winner would be crowned.
  2. Yes, I believe he will :chin:
  3. It would be great if Trues created an off-topic forum (open to everyone) that would be devoted entirely to graphics and sigs. That way, everything can be conveniently contained within there without having other off-topic threads coincide with these.
  4. You're going to have a very difficult time finding that many participants. This CAN work with 2 or 3 people, actually. A certain theme/team/player is introduced and a basic picture is posted. Then, every participant has a day or two to post his entry. A poll is then created where other members vote on their favorite one.
  5. Or a 1-on-1 (or with more participants) sig battle. I've seen those at other forums, and they seem pretty fun.
  6. Pretty good..The background effects are really cool. I, however, probably would not have applied the 'canvas' effect onto the player photos because it somewhat distorts them. I would have left those as individual layers on top of everything else.
  7. Pretty good
  8. Well you might want to make it a little more discernible in that case.
  9. I really like it-- especially the way you merged the text on the left. Maybe adding an Indians logo on the left side can occupy some of the empty space.
  10. Pretty good for your first one-- definately useable. Would program did you use for it?
  11. I just thought that the main sig would become too small. Here it is though:
  12. Either the bar would have to be stretched, thus significantly distorting it, or the sig would have to be cropped if you would want the 2 to be the same length.
  13. IMO, there should be a separate section within the forum devoted solely towards Graphics. I doubt that abuse will occur in such a forum, as it would be solely devoted towards users requesting and sharing their sigs, avatars, bars, etc. It's unfortunate that the newer members have to resort to this just to request a sig.
  14. lol, I honestly can't see the difference between the two. I meant that you should lower the "transparency" of the logo by decreasing the Opacity level.
  15. The background looks awesome, as do the effects around the logo. I also like the effects around the main player picture. I would, however, suggest that you lower the opacity on the logo and allow it to blend in with the background more-- it sort of overshadows the Furcal picture. Overall, though, it's one of the best ones that I've seen you come up with.
  16. That's what I wanted to see. And NO, they are not.
  17. test #1 test #2
  18. I'd suggest actually 'cropping' the Zito picture.
  19. He looks exactly like Lou Gehrig, though. :chin:
  20. Wow, those Southsiders have some exceptional talents in Photoshop.
  21. Great, thanks!
  22. Flash isn't compatible with HTML code, is it? I'll try the program out this summer though.
  23. I actually based that sig off another one that I had seen some time ago. I liked how it looked so I decided to "duplicate" it.
  24. Here's an example: ORIGINAL: ANIMATED: ...big difference, huh?
  25. :( ...that's what I was afraid of. But the thing is, Imageready absolutely butchers the original images when saved as GIF's. However, Photoshop allows you to adjust certain options/settings when saving images as GIF's, which basically alter the quality. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to do this in Imageready. So I still had some hope that other programs could possibly save them and maintain some of the quality.
