This is the 3rd My Career that I have tried using on mlb 2k12. After putting in 3 seasons on the game for the 2nd time, the game crashes when i get to the draft day in June. I am using MLB roster editor. I fixed all the teams so they has a minimum of 21 and a max of 25. I have even put my guy on minor league teams and other mlb teams just to see if I could advance past the day but I cannot. I have put a couple of the mlb legends players on my team and I am wondering if that is the problem. I was having problems in spring training with the game crashing while they were on my team. Once I re-edited the file and put them back on the Legends teams the game would not crash. I put them back on after ST and the game was running great until I hit draft day. How can I fix the file so I can sim past draft day and not lose 3 seasons of work?

I'm going to update the ram and see what happens. It sucks because the game will read a very late swing on a ball outside and away, but if I swing on a meatball pitch right when it turns green the batter will not swing. I can't swing early, on time, or late unless the game starts to lag heavily and the green balls shows for 1 or 2 seconds. As long as the pitch is a good throw the game won't lag. It's kind of weird. Like the flashing colors overload my ram I increased pitcher effectiveness to 100% and I gained 50 points on my average and my home runs went up. But the game still has a steady lag. I've learned that I have to sort of anticipate the pitches and swing much earlier because it takes a second for the game to respond to the action and make the batter swing. I pretty much have to anticipate what type of pitches are most common for that pitch count and assume what and where it will be thrown before it is even thrown. If I wait until the pitch location is given then many times the swing won't work and the swing will always be late. Stupid ram

I am having a problem with any season mode. I was able to get into the 2nd season of my player before it crashed at the end of august. In two of tr franchises I started they ended up crashing at the end of august in the first season. I did use MLB roster editor on all of the files during the season. I don't know if anyone is aware, but in Madden 08 for pc when you use a roster editor in season the files tend to corrupt and cause weird problems. In my player mode, the Astros org. Disappeared from the standings and about 2 months later the game crashed. I did switch my player from the Astros to the Cubs in my first off season using a roster editor. Also, I was using Bsu Fans most recent roster for my player and DaSteelerz post trade deadline roster for franchise. Yes, Michael Morse is on an mlb team. Is editing the file in season going to corrupt it or is it another problem? Can the files be saved or do I have to start over again?

I'm having a big problem with the game. When a pitcher throws a meatball, the pitch comes in at full speed; my guy's swing has a delayed response and the swing is almost in slow motion while the rest of the game is moving properly. I'm also having this problem with baserunning. Speed is 90 and so is acceleration, but the runner is going almost in slow motion and the catchers throw is moving at the proper speed. What graphic issue are causing this. Note: graphics are on lowest setting on everything. My game starts lagging especially when the swinger analysis comes up. But I need swing analysis to time pitchers

In order for the buttons to respond to the classic hitting controls I had to assign button 1 through 4 to an action. If not, then the game will think you are still using total control. Tha KS for the help but I eventually figured it out

Here is another video. My controls are selected to be classic for batting. Yes it's for my profile and not the keyboard. I read other posts and the only solution that people offered was by switching from the keyboard option to the user optiom. This I am aware of, yet it still won't use any of the 1 to 4 buttons in game. Even though controls are set to classic, I can only swing using total control in game. I'm lost. Big time glitch with the game. All of a sudden I cannot select play game at the My Player main menu. The option to hit the 2 button in order to play appearance just disappeared after I requested a move up to the leadoff spot on my mlb team. Whenever I choose to play appearance through the schedule screen, the controller is responsive to game menu and the startup screen, but once I am on the field or batting, only the left joystick is responsive. None of the other buttons are registering and I can't swing, run the bases, throw after I made a catch, ect. Any way to fix this? I already have my controls set to classic batting. Here is a video

Thank you. I did that and now it's ok. Man my 3 through 6 hitters all have about 140+ strikeouts and most accumulated within the now 60 mlb games I've played

90% of the time when I am on base the computer batters strike out on 3 or 4 pitches and only make contact that goes foul. I have played through 40 games on the mlb team and only once has the computer gotten a hit while I was on base. Any slider recommendations for this?

I have searched everywhere in options and have come up empty on where I change the controls to classic. I've tried manually switching the controls, but it creates a whole mess of problems. For example, if I make my swing to be button 3 all of the controls for fielding, baserunning, and pitching will change. For example, if my fielder uses button 3 to throw to 1st base, after I switch my batting swing to 3, the ability to throw to 1st base with my fielder with button 3 will change and become an unused action. Please help
