  1. Can anyone tell me if there is a planned MVP 16 mod release? TIA
  2. Well, I still don't know what the problem was but I was able to add the audio files manually with BigGUI.
  3. Can anyone please help me with a problem I have installing an audio file... I D/L'd a facepack file called "MVP15 Facepack (2 of 4) 1.0.0" by jogar84. I wanted to install the face for Jung Ho Kang of the Pirates because he had a generic face previously. The face installed properly but it also includes an audio file for his name, "Jung_Ho_Kang.rar". I verified the audio/pic number (4962 was correct) and then I tried to use TIT to install it but during the install it stops and says, "FIFAFS.exe has stopped working". What am I doing wrong?
  4. Sorry, I don't understand... Never mind, I just figured it out. It stands for Pitch Count. DUH!
  5. Hey guys, I have looked in the manual and online everywhere but I can't find the answer. In a game against the CPU, what does the number in the lower right of the game screen next to "PC" mean? It's under the box that shows the "Speed" ratings for the runners at each base. TIA
  6. Thank you very much for your help Gordo, that worked!
  7. Well, that was strange. I tried it and got the same error. So, with everything back as it was to begin with, I again ran the install program. When the error popped up, I clicked "Ignore" rather than "Abort". Well, it looked to be installed. I ran the program and it opened but it was empty. I clicked, Import - Dat Files. When the window opened, I went to the file I download, "MVP 2016 Initial Rosters (BaseUp Rosters) Ver 1.1" and clicked OK. But the program opened a file window with the save option of save ".mbe file". But I didn't want to save the files I wanted to open them! DOH, I didn't realize you need to save the DAT files as a "MBE" file before it will open!!! When I saved them to "2016 Rosters.mbe" it then populated Mvpedit! So, It appears to be working for me although I don't get a picture in the window. It says, "No picture found". Do I need to set a path or something for it to find the pictures?
  8. I assume you mean to "Right click on the install program and select "Properties", then compat tab, XP/SP3 and Run as Admin. If so, I tried it but I get the same error.
  9. Has anyone been able to install Mvpedit 2006.2 in Windows 7, 64 bit? If so, how? When I try to install I get: Unable to register C:\Windows\System32\vbjtes40.dll I don't have a copy of that dll in the System32 folder but I do have it in SysWOW64. So I copied it into the System32 folder but I get the same error. TIA
    Awesome!
  10. Thank you. I appreciate your hard work!
  11. Ok, thanks. That is the roster file that I downloaded. I just wasn't sure if I should be using it or the CPU vs CPU roster file.
  12. Yankee4Life, Ok, that makes sense. Then what are "Base Up" rosters? And which should I use if I want to play against the CPU? Thanks for your assistance
  13. Thanks for the info Gordo. I saw the CPU vs CPU rosters but I don't quite understand what that means. Is that only for games that I wouldn't want to manage? I downloaded the 2016 "Base Up" Rosters. I didn't quite understand that terminology either but I figured I didn't want to use CPU vs CPU and play the games What's the difference? By the way, I see you are in Lehigh Valley. I'm up in the Wilkes Barre - Scranton, PA area...
  14. First of all. thank you to all those modders that keep this game modernized every year! I am new to these mods and this forum but I do have a question. In MVP 2025 the first selection is, "Practice Game". Is there a way to select a different starter and change the lineup before the game begins? I have been looking around but can't find anything and I'm starting to think it's because you can't. If you change players afterwards, you lose them for the rest of the game. Anyone? TIA
    Thanjs for your efforts!
