Well, that's the program I have been using since 2K10. I originally got it off his website eamods.com when kraw was making 2x portraits. 10,000+ portraits I believe is what he said. It allows for both the installation of 512x512 and 256x256 portraits. I guess i'm not aware of another.

Unfortunately, I don't forsee the 2014 schedule. Last year people were able to copy and paste over the schedule from MLB 2K13 on the 360. But here's hoping.

I'm pretty sure Tuscon Padres are now the el paso chihuahuas and akron is now the rubber ducks. Names can be changed in game with reditor. Logos and uniforms can also be edited.

How does one stop the game from trying to connect to the 2K servers? It wastes times having to wait each time on startup. I assume this is possible. Any help?

I'm the one who made the portrait packs on this site for 2k11 and trust me, it's just a false positive.
-
There is no trojan in the file. Your virus scanner is picking up a false positive.
-
Unfortunately it is a long process but the only way I know it works everytime.

KC- Here is the process I use: First of all i never once import any portraits using nbamodtool into the in game portrait.iff so forget that all together. Those ID's mean nothing. ID numbers need to be obtained using Ty's editor. Here are the steps. 1.) I first create my portrait using Photoshop. 256x256. For Joe Nathan I name the file nathan.dds for example. 2.) Now for size of the file. This step is crucial or the portrait will look terrible in the game. For this step I take a folder with nbamodtool and a COPY of the portrait IFF. For this example I will use Joe Nathan. Use Ty's editor to look up his ID number for the roster you are using. His number is 1729 for me. 3.) Open up the copy of your portrait iff. You need to import nathan.dds into any slot (doesn't matter which one) and export it back out as 1729.dds 4.) nathan.dds was 87,536 bytes in size and the resulting 1729.dds is 87,520 bytes. As I said this step is absolutely necessary. 5.) Now for installation. Create a folder called portrait and a folder within the portrait folder called 1x. All numbered dds files go in the 1x folder. For example portrait-->1x-->1729.dds. This allows for one or hundreds of portraits to be installed. After placing all completed files in the 1x folder take 7zip and create portrait.7z 6. Install Total Installer Thingy for 2K10. On first setup it asks where your MLB install directory is and so forth. Just follow the directions. Click the ... button and load portrait.7z. Then click the start button. All portraits should now be installed in the game. I really hope this helps you. I really appreciate everything you do for this game. Thank you, and feel free to ask me any questions.

Wudl-Just want to let you know I'll have an updated MLB pack out tonight. Its 5 AM here and I gotta head out to work but I have the file ready for release.
-
I thought this would be a good idea as well for each team that uses fox. I replaced the file in the global.iff. It works but the problem is that it also changes the logo in the bottom left corner with the spinning circle for the ingame menus. I'm not sure how to fix that.
-
Just a couple of notes that i'll add. These were two problems I ran into and how to solve them. The exe is a read only file so before you begin right click your exe got down to properties, left click, and uncheck read only. Then goto your hex editor and follow ex's instructions. I used hxd hex editor. When you search for the value the default selection was text string. Make sure to change it to hex values or the search will render nothing. After that I had no problems.
-
Keep up the good work wudl! I'll start working on the minors once you're finished.
-
Ok, I understand. Just curious as to why your using the 2K roster? Wundabread is working with BSU-FAN to make an updated release and wudl83 has a roster out both of which have the astros in the AL and the 2013 schedule.

I still update the portrait iff this year: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7748
-
I'll have some extra time tomorrow night. I'll try to release it then.
-
Hey Kraw- First I gotta ask how in the heck can you tell how many files I've changed? As far as the lines go it must be something when I create the portrait because I only import dds files. As far as 2x I really dont' have a reason. Don't you just create a 2x folder in addition to the 1x folder and make the files 512 x 512 instead?
-
Ok so this does not work. I used ctrl shift g to change all the years to one year ahead. It still says all the data is corrupt and won't load the file. Has anyone got this to work?
-
-
Dennis I can figure out how to export as a png/dds etc., but I for the life of me cannot figure out how to import a dds with 3DM
-
After I do this it just says the file is corrupt and won't load.
