  1. Thanks man. The "Pro" level has been really one of the concerns I think that most people have had when I started posting these. I tweaked these solid for nearly 2 months, adjusting on all levels of the game. Ultimately, the Pro level produced the most balanced, overall results. And with a few minor changes in pitch speed, etc., a really good challenge to most players. Thanks for the good words, and I'm glad they're working out for you.

  3. Welcome to the site!

  4. 7-5 is a miracle, considering how strange this weekend went. I'll take it.

  6. Unfortunately, I saw this week's disaster unfold as the day progressed. 4-9. Ouch.
  7. I'm basically a fair weathered NFL fan, always pull for the Dolphins. But when there's a fumble, there's a recovery. Not rocket science. With as tough as a week it's been, I needed that pick!
  8. Same here, not a big deal. This is turning out to be a rough week for picks.

  10. Thanks for the good words Josh, hopefully more people give them a try.  :friends:
  11. Hopefully the people that are still playing the game will try them out. In the past, I had gotten some mild criticism (welcomed, of course) about the fact the the sliders were based off the Pro Level, but this was before they had tried them out. In my case, this combined set been the biggest challenge for me, even after playing the game for nearly 5 years, with the best results I have personally been able to obtain. Play style and talent level are obviously the biggest factor when trying out any slider set, but any and all feedback are welcome.

  14. Dylan, you're a beast. He's on top every week. Congrats.
  15. I figured you would be Dylan, since it's not really a violation of the rules. Thanks man!
  16. emath, I don't see why you can't go ahead and fill it in if you want to. As long as it's done before the Mon. night game.

  20. Wow, I actually won this week? Thanks for keeping this up Dylan, I have no doubt you'll do a fine job. Don't mean to push it off on you, but if you ever need me to jump in, just say the word. I'll be here.
  21. I finally broke through with a decent record. And the spreadsheet looks great, Dylan!

  23. Thanks again, Dylan, I got it changed. Guess it's harder to keep track manually than I first thought it would be. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing the spreadsheet in use. Thanks for everything!
  24. First of all, thanks for the kind words! I'd really like to rick, but the cards won't seem to drop my way. 2K is out of the question, and from the way I like to be consistent and in depth with the daily updates, presenting one on The Show just proved to be too much. The extra steps that it takes to transfer everything to the PC from the PS3 seems minute, unless you're trying to do it everyday and keep up with the real schedule. Since that's the way I like to do my seasons, it became painfully apparent that I just wasn't going to keep up. With a PC game, obviously, you have everything right at your fingertips, and being able to use Fraps, alt tab down, etc., cut game/presentation down by probably 30-45 minutes. It doesn't seem like that much, but the everyday grind piles up. Not only that, the external programs just allows you to get more in depth (SavReader, MVPEdit, Schedule Changer, etc.) and keeping up with accurate rosters were a cinch. That said, I wouldn't p*ss on 2K if they were dying of thirst, which isn't necessarily directed at a sub par game, but the company itself. I've never seen a company, that once they got your money, run, hide, and then blantantly ignore their customers until they release next year's version. Which we know by now still won't be much better than last year's. So, unless there's a miracle PC game on the horizon, I probably won't be digging back into it anytime soon. Either way man, I enjoy reading and following most dynasties, keep up the good work!
