  1. emath - I was in the same position, I had donated but it was some time ago.  We all hear you loud and clear, the recession is everywhere.  As much as I've personally gained from this site, I felt it was time to bite the bullet. It's one less Happy Meal for the kids, which is something I need to be thankful for in the first place.  :D
  2. In my opinion, this should have been done a long time ago. Look in your MVP 2005 Baseball folder and tell me you don't have 10 dollars worth of somebody's time, whether they offered it up for free or opted to charge for it. (which I believe should be at the modder's discretion) Then ask yourself what it takes just to maintain one of the best gaming sites on the planet, and what it costs to keep it optimized and running smoothly for 5 years. IMO, it's time to pay up. *Edit - I finally got my PayPal to work , another donation is on the way, thanks to everyone for the great site!
  3. Hey man, I hope you're not getting a whiff of this West Coast plague..
  4. Congrats on the W, rick.  4 runs on 6 hits, now that's efficiency.   ^_^
  5. Way to pound em, rick.  Hopefully I can put a thumping on the Tigers tonight too. (I hope rroy doesn'tread this)   B)
  6. I agree. Not only are you in a hole, but you're going to have to fight your way through some of the best teams in baseball. Ouch. My A's are pretty weak this year, but at least I'm in a weak division.
  7. Tough loss, rick, and to lose this late in the game makes it even worse.  3 games under .500 isn't the end of the world at this early in the season though. Hang in there.   B)
  8. rick, rick, rick, rick... ;)
  9. Yep, that's what we both need.  A couple of sweeps can change everything in a matter of a week and a half.  I'm going to play this Turn Back The Clock game and present it later today, but after that I'll figure out something to restructure the presentations so that they're spread out but still informative. Good luck with the White Sox, you should be able to get the upper hand in this series.
  10. Yep, forgot about the first one with Zink.  I see it now, it was a 2-1 loss.  There's a lot of season left, so I don't think all is lost as of now.   BTW, I may start updating a series at a time, or possibly just 2 or 3 times a month, there just really seems to be miminal interest in the game in general.  Probably to be expected with a 4 year old game, but I'm still having the funnest season I've had since I've owned it, more than likely because it's been my biggest challenge yet. Anyway, for you and me, it's time to start focusing on winning 2 out of 3, it'll pay off off in the long run.   B)
  11. Another loss. It's rough out here on the West coast too, rick. Good luck in the rubber match (I'm assuming it's a 3 game series). If you're like me at this point, taking 2 out of 3 is more than you can ask for.
  12. Man, tough loss rick.  I had one similar last night, but my pitching performance wasn't anywhere near what your's was.  Either way, it's tough to lose one like this, especially when you're really needing the wins.   -_-
  13. lol, never have. I hate to admit it, but I wouldn't even know the more detailed rules. Hit puck, puck go in goal, get point. But anyway, I may have to give it a shot, this looks like a kick a@@ game.
  14. I've never played a hockey game in my life, but this looks solid.  I may have to jump on this one.
  15. :clapping: :clapping:
  16. ..hang in there, rick..
  17. I don't read my mail. If they want me out in Oakland, they're going to have to physically remove me. Seriously though, I look at it as being a good challenge. IMO, I'd rather play the game that way instead of it being too easy.
  18. I assume the only way that could happen is if the fans voted you out, lol?  It's a long season, rick, anything can happen.   B)
  19. Congrats on pulling out the squeaker, rick.  Looks like you left a ton of Yankees stranded on the basepaths.  It's definitely a pressure situation when it's such a close game throughout. Good luck with Ellsbury's replacement, the "Florida Softdrink".   :D
  20. Toronto with 17 hits and 12 left on.  Good job of holding them, rick.  Looks like Buchholz  got the win.  It's nice to see the guy that did the work, gets the win. :good:
  21. Good luck, rick.  I've lost my last two, I hope the losing streak isn't contagious.
  22. :drinks: Congrats, rick!
  23. rick, rick, rick, RICK. ^_^
  24. rick, rick, rick... ;)
  25. Good luck back in the AL, rick.  Interleague Play looked a little rough.
