  1. Another loss. It's rough out here on the West coast too, rick. Good luck in the rubber match (I'm assuming it's a 3 game series). If you're like me at this point, taking 2 out of 3 is more than you can ask for.
  2. Man, tough loss rick.  I had one similar last night, but my pitching performance wasn't anywhere near what your's was.  Either way, it's tough to lose one like this, especially when you're really needing the wins.   -_-
  3. lol, never have. I hate to admit it, but I wouldn't even know the more detailed rules. Hit puck, puck go in goal, get point. But anyway, I may have to give it a shot, this looks like a kick a@@ game.
  4. I've never played a hockey game in my life, but this looks solid.  I may have to jump on this one.
  5. I don't read my mail. If they want me out in Oakland, they're going to have to physically remove me. Seriously though, I look at it as being a good challenge. IMO, I'd rather play the game that way instead of it being too easy.
  6. I assume the only way that could happen is if the fans voted you out, lol?  It's a long season, rick, anything can happen.   B)
  7. Congrats on pulling out the squeaker, rick.  Looks like you left a ton of Yankees stranded on the basepaths.  It's definitely a pressure situation when it's such a close game throughout. Good luck with Ellsbury's replacement, the "Florida Softdrink".   :D
  8. Toronto with 17 hits and 12 left on.  Good job of holding them, rick.  Looks like Buchholz  got the win.  It's nice to see the guy that did the work, gets the win. :good:
  9. Good luck, rick.  I've lost my last two, I hope the losing streak isn't contagious.
  10. Good luck back in the AL, rick.  Interleague Play looked a little rough.
  11. Man rick, am I reading this right??  You've lost 8 in a row now?  You need to get away from Interleague Play, and fast. B)
  12. Kind of reminds me when this happened.  I was actually watching this game.
  13. No problem, it's easy to make mistakes when the updates are so in depth.  That said, a couple of weeks without Texeira is better than all season.  Other than Duchscherer, I've got everyone healthy at this point. Great updates, rick, you just gotta pull out some wins against the NL.   :D
  14. rick, what was the nature of Texeira's injury and how long will he be out?  I looked through the last updates and didn't see it.
  15. Nice outing by Zink.  Looks like he made quick work of that game.  How are the Royals doing in the standings?
  16. Absolutely, Maestro, I'd love to see them. BTW rick, Boston has caught and tied the almighty Rays for first place in my dynasty. The way things started, it looked like Tampa Bay was going to completely run away with the East. At just 4.5 games back, New York is making a run at it too. Should be fun this year. ^_^
  17. In real life, Jack Cust leads the team with 7 homeruns, but check out Holliday's stats. My game: Matt Holliday - ( 50 games) .263/6/18/SO 28/SB 3/5 2B Real life: Matt Holliday - .(46 games) .264/6/28/SO 29/SB 3/6 2B Of course, not everyone in the lineup's stats are this close, but as least I know the game is playing well. But to answer your question, there won't be much power coming out of this team all year, unless someone just goes on a tear. While we're at it, and since it is your thread , here's how Boston stacks up on my end: While not having quite the monster year he's having in real life, it looks as though Jason Bay is pulling his weight (in my game) this year too.
  18. In my dynasty, Jermaine Dye leads the league with 17. But just for your information, Lowell has 14 and Papi has 13. Matt Holliday is leading my A's with a whopping 6. It may be a long season.
  19. Wow, AROD with 18 homeruns already?  Barring injury, this may be a record setting year.   :D
  20. Man, I guess Papi hasn't heard about the "slump".  Looks like you laid the smackdown on them in game 1.
