  1. There's gotta be Topaz Filters in that graphic. GOT to be.
  2. Excellent Sean. You're making me want to get a PS4 now. grrrrrrrrrr
  3. Nice to see you win one, GRS. The presentation is fantastic.
  4. Doubt if umps would put up with that now.
  5. I'll never forget the matchup between Al Hrbowsky and George Foster. Foster would step in the box, and Hrbowsky would walk off the mound and talk to the ball. Pissed Foster off, so when Hrbwosky finally got on the mound ready to pitch, Foster would step out of the box. And it went on and on, lol. Was some of the funniest stuff I've seen.
  6. I actually think it was some sort of OCD. I remember Larry Walker (who wore #33) said he could only do things in "3's". Strange breed we humans are.
  7. Oh, and Nomar. Good grief who could forget about those hitches.
  8. It's also interesting to think about players that had a "hitch" in their swing, whatever it may have been. Joe Morgan with the arm flap, Willie Stargill with that round house warm up swing, and Matt Williams used to rub his face with his shoulder every time he got ready for a pitch. Very interesting stuff.
  9. I thought of him too, but at least IMO, it was pure bat speed and power. Just couldn't get a pitch past him.
  10. I honestly can't think of a RH batter that had one. Seems like they were always lefties IMO. Like I said, maybe just a preference thing.
  11. Not sure if this is a preference thing, I can only vouch for what I've seen. My top 3 would be: Junior Griffey Daryl Srawberry Will Clark Anyone have any others? This was off the top of my head.
  12. Sorry about the loss, GRS, but the graphics are stunning. Good job.
  13. Well, I tried my hand at it, and came to the conclusion that more stats could be added, but it seems there's just way too much to fill out. Highlighting the most prevalent stats (like GSR is doing in his NBA franchise) is most definitely the way to go.
  14. oldtimey, I went over your stat column. I understand the stat line except for the "B". *Edit - Blocks perhaps?
  15. Here's another small tip, GRS. If your pic is a bit too dark, or light, you can use the Image > Adjustments > Curves tool. Using that tool, I lightened one of your pics up a bit. Keep in mind, your pics look fantastic as they are, but I thought I'd just share this bit of info with you in case you ever wanted to use it. Your pic from your franchise: I went through the same steps that you did, but took the pic and just lightened it up a bit with the Curves tool: Anyway, again, I love what you're doing with this, and it sounds like you're really getting into PS. This example may be a preference thing, everyone sees everything a bit different, but if you ever want to share tips, etc., give me a shout.
  16. Appreciate it, GSR. I'd really like to get into all sports, would love to see some of put to use some time.
  17. Thanks, oldtimey. I searched on ESPN for some sort of idea, but the stat sheet was so detailed, I had no idea where to start. Much appreciated, this may work.
  18. Thanks, Y4L. Like I said, the idea came from GRS, but I'm lost at any other kind of stats recap other than baseball. LOL, sad, eh?
  19. My apologies guys, but I could have sworn we had a Photoshop or Creative Graphics thread somewhere. I searched until I was blue in the face, but couldn't find it. Since the site has changed formats a few times, It may very well be gone. But here's my point: I noticed GoRedSox has a really good NBA franchise going, so being the off season, I copied the core of what he was doing and have been trying to incorporate an NBA recap board of what he's put out there. All props go to him, of course, but my downfall is I have no idea how to finish out this board. It's based on a baseball template I've done in the past, but for the life of me can't figure out what sort of stats would be prevalent in an NBA recap fashion. I actually wouldn't mind covering all sports, college as well as pros, just for the sheer practice in Photoshop. I am just doodling, but anyone have any ideas, suggestions?
