  1. Appreciate it, GSR. I'd really like to get into all sports, would love to see some of put to use some time.
  2. Thanks, oldtimey. I searched on ESPN for some sort of idea, but the stat sheet was so detailed, I had no idea where to start. Much appreciated, this may work.
  3. Thanks, Y4L. Like I said, the idea came from GRS, but I'm lost at any other kind of stats recap other than baseball. LOL, sad, eh?
  4. My apologies guys, but I could have sworn we had a Photoshop or Creative Graphics thread somewhere. I searched until I was blue in the face, but couldn't find it. Since the site has changed formats a few times, It may very well be gone. But here's my point: I noticed GoRedSox has a really good NBA franchise going, so being the off season, I copied the core of what he was doing and have been trying to incorporate an NBA recap board of what he's put out there. All props go to him, of course, but my downfall is I have no idea how to finish out this board. It's based on a baseball template I've done in the past, but for the life of me can't figure out what sort of stats would be prevalent in an NBA recap fashion. I actually wouldn't mind covering all sports, college as well as pros, just for the sheer practice in Photoshop. I am just doodling, but anyone have any ideas, suggestions?
  5. I agree with Dennis. Love the NBA franchise idea, haven't seen much here over the years, or NFL franchises for that matter. Obviously we're on a baseball site, but it's still refreshing. BTW, GRS, you using Photoshop or some other program? Those game graphics are top notch.
  6. Good job GRS. Nice to see some variety. Oh, and I'm loving that avatar!
  7. lol, actually I was making fun of my own ignorance of the game. I've been married to an European (Norwegian) for going on 15 years now. She has tried and tried to explain the game to me, and I just can't make any sense of it. I meant no offense to soccer fans, your passion for the game is unmatched. And BTW, her family will be here next summer and will be watching The World Cup as they did in 2006 and 2010. I have as much fun watching them and their excitement more than anything else.
  8. He went to the Virgin Islands, spent 3 or 4 days to explore. When he left, it was just The Islands - The Most Interesting Man In The World
  9. Q. What do you tell a woman with two black eyes? A. Nothing. You done told her twice.
  10. Let's get this thing fired up. Gonna be a long winter until baseball starts again.
  11. Ah, Curt Gowdy and Tony Kubek. I really liked Morgan and Miller as of late, seems I'm in the minority. If I had to pick a fav. Vin Scully i the ultimate.
  12. Awesome right up, Willie. Sounds like you're due for some imported lobster.
  13. This is cool stuff, Y4L. Would be fun to follow something like this too.
  14. Sounds interesting, would love to follow this. I hear you on the injuries, when I lost Crisp for the season, my speed went out the window. He's basically all I had. Bourjos, Kendrick, and Aybar swiped me blind in the Angel's series. My weak spot was obviously no speed and no arm behind the plate. Amazing how those little things loom large in a series setting.
  15. Keep us updated, Sean. I know it's early, but that division is geared for a good race anyway. Thought of posting it on the site?
