Nice rosters. However I had an issue when using it in a games. Whenerver I tried to throw a pich, I pressed the button but had no ability to control where it went. As you all know, you choose a pitch and then choose its location with the joystick. For some strange reason it failed to allow this. Any thoughts????? Part 2- Just loaded your updated roster. It works, pithinc and all. Not sure what I did on my part but all is well. Thank you for your work -
I wish that the actual managers were included along with the schedule. Overall this is the best roster out there for tthe 2018 season. Thank you for your fine work. -
I like seeing actual faces with the players as compared to some other roster files. Is there some way you could add Dusty Baker as the Manager for the Nationals? thank you for your efforts -

Thank you for the updated roster. I played a few innnings of some games with the Reds vs.. Nationals and Cubs vs. Padres. Overall it is a good file. As you said the rosters at the moment are not 100% accurate yet but it is a good start. I look forward when you also have the current managers included as well. Thank you for your time and effort.

In my opinion, footballfreaks.com is the best site for users of Madden 08 PC. Each season users update the rosters, uniforms, some equipment, and in some cases the actual stadiums along with the season schedules for PC users. These files literally make the game play like a newer, better version than what was released in the actual games. Take long look again at the forums and focus on the Customization section. You will find what you are looking for, -

Very nice update. Love the new manager additions. Played a few games and just started a 50+game combined franchise season with the Reds and Orioles. Just lost my 1st spring training game with the Os losing to the Phils 7-1. Unfortunately, my Os starting pitching will be an issue (like the real team), but I have some definite hitters (Davis, Cruz, Jones, and Manny). I had started a simlar franchise with the same teams but simmed the spring training. I panicked when I saw Marshall the Reds reliever went down twice with injuries. So I will play as many games as possible.

Holloywood70, I will let you know how the season goes. I saw that BSU is updating the file again to include lots of things. I am excited about what he is doing. in the meantime, I have been playing various games with the Reds, Orioles, Indians, and Dodgers.

Greg82 has just provided what I was asking for: a recent roster with the new managers. I downloaded it earlier today and played a game with the Reds at Houston. It had Bryan Price as the Reds manager. He basically used the final 2013 roster from BSU and converted it to 2014 rosters and managers. It seems to play pretty well. Look forward to starting a Reds and Orioles (and maybe Dodgers or Indians) franchise with it.

I just downloaded earlier today someone that updated BSU's 2013 rosters for the 2014 season including new managers. Thank you all for your feedback. It seems to be a great file but I have only played one game with it. BTW, it does have the Astros correctly in the AL West.

Thanks guys for your feedback. I still play MLB2k12 often. I was just curious as to whether it was in the works or even possible that managers could be updated to 2014.

I was wondering if anyone is able to create and add the new managers (ie.. Bryan Price, Reds, Ryan Sandberg, Phillies, etc..) into the game with 2014 rosters. I did not know if that is possible or not. Would be awesome if that can be done along with the actual schedule. Either way, thanks for all of the great work you guys have already done to make this game even better.

Microcenter still sells this game on PC DVD. I don't know if there is a store near you, but if so they should have it. Most Gamestops only sell this game as a download version only.

My saga continues. The game worked for one day. Next day, had same issues again. I got upset and deleted everything. I am starting from scratch out of frustation. I have started adding mod stuff again, starting with stadiums, will add rosters and uniforms when become available. I changed the date back to July 1, 2012 and the game played well tonight. Have no clue as to what is going on.

After choosing to repair instead of unistalling game, the game is working again. I have no clue as to what happened or why it stopped working, but all is well now. Thanks to all who offered their feedback and advice.

Last resort will be uinstall and install again, Tried what BSU Fan said and still locks up at main screen. Last thing before hand it says updating MLB Today. then game locks up on main screen. Am clueless as to why it is doing so. Game played well in December and early January. Now this. Thanks for feedback, folks.

Will try what you posted, BSU. Re-loaded patch and still did not work. Don't understand what changed...maybe a windows update that stopped it???

still having same issue with game loading but not going past main screen. It locks up after updating with MLB Today. I downloaded the PC update last year when it came out. Maybe I will try it again.

Yes, I did. I have since tried a system restore to early l;asy December.
