  1. Ok... we have worked hard for the 2010-2011 season and things have been ready for quite a while. Here are some new ingame shots. Enjoy.
  2. Did you miss the hand waving and temperament? Hey... I know Italian girls, I used to date one. :D
  3. Worst parking ever? ...and you know, Italian girls... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6YkqTzCGew
  4. Vod has released another great mod, which extracts real-time REAL NHL news from ESPN.com. These are now scrolling in the main menu whenever you open your game... it automatically connects to ESPN.com. New interface out (version 6.33) download away: http://z6.invisionfree.com/flyermania/index.php?showtopic=1864 The mod is pretty much ready for the 10-11 season in every other way as well...
  5. This is one hell of a driver. I believe this is from the "Supercars era" in rally. 1000 HP or so. Those cars & guys were just insane... you gotta be insane to drive like this on the mountain roads. Former Rally World Champion Ari Vatanen of Finland climbing the Castle Rock, Colorado. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBPgCJBUjtg
  6. My season 1996-1997 is nearing the end... only 3 games left. Thanks to Jimboni for this SPECTACULAR mod... it's been a fantastic season. More here. Some screen captures. Niinimaa, Lindros and LeClair celebrating. Twist ja Grimson doing their job. Sean Burke, Hartford Whalers. USAir Arena.
  7. Make sure the rosters are in the correct folders. Files in the roster RAR package go to 2 different folders. *.exh and *.exha files go to C:\my documents\nhl 2004\db and db.viv goes to X:\nhl 2004\db (X: being the drive that you installed the game to). This is the most common mistake... people don't realize that the files have to go to 2 separate folders.
  8. If you have an old dynasty started, installing new rosters won't affect it. You have to start a new season or dynasty to get the newest players. Dynasty roster is a separate *.dyn file.
  9. The latest revolutionary interface addon from Egorgiy stores all gamedays correctly for each season game, each season date. Oldest bug in the calendar has been fixed. Playerstats, goaliestats and scoring summaries are now accurate for every date, and the calendar is not showing screwed up boxscores for the old games any more... Then we have a new GameCast with new graphics and Flash-like loading effect... this one randomizes correct amount of shots to the shooting chart. Genuine counterpart from the ESPN NHL site... we tried to emulate the Flash effect and behavior. LINK.
  10. @Basesloaded: Try the manual installation: http://z6.invisionfree.com/flyermania/index.php?showtopic=1864 We managed to add completely new feature... now the game extracts all stats leaders from the dynasty/season. You can access them by one click only. This is brand new feature in the game. Another example that html/JS based interface has no modding limits.
  11. Some new shots with the HDR mod intact. Just some mindless eyecandy... enjoy...!!
  12. For vintage hockey fans (from Hartford Whalers era), here's standard gameplay footage from Season 1996/1997 mod. We have cracked the camera system and use a new larger angle (optional). Enjoy.
  13. Vancouver 2010 Olympic Hockey mod is soon ready. LINK and LINK.
  14. New gameplay video.
  15. Here is some newest frontend improvements. New GameCast graphics (still needs to be improved) but it shows the correct SOG stats. New style for the scoring summary. BoxScore scratched players information showing correctly (during the season/dynasty). Some Jumbotron previews... all done and released: Slideshow LINK to 1996-1997 total conversion mod.
  16. I got MLB 2k9 a few months ago but I never managed to get the keyboard working properly. For example I can't change the home/away stats in the post-game boxscore at all, which I find very weird. It doesn't respond to mouse/keyboard commands in some menus. There are other ingame keyboard setting weirdness too so I gave up with it... maybe it's just my European keyboard layout that causes the problems? However I'm in love with MVP 2005 and I play the 08 total conversion mod pretty much every day. Because of time limitations I only play 5 out of 9 innings (I wonder if it's a major blasphemy that way lol). This was my last game, which I actually managed to win (in pro difficulty). I'm slowly getting a grab of this. Boxscore (open with IE/Mozilla) Technically MLB 2k9 might be nicer (better graphics, etc.) but as a baseball gaming newbie I'd still play MVP 2005 (even without the problems I have with MLB). MVP simply has more "spirit". Keep up the good work guys!
  17. Screenshots of the upcoming Season 1997 mod. Enjoy! http://img412.imageshack.us/g/nhl20042009113017393496.jpg/
  18. @daflyboys: AI excessive shooting has been toned down considerably from global pass/carry and shoot/pass attributes. Here's a new update. New 09/10 season ices with the accurate FACEOFF ice option (that has been used beginning of the season).
  19. There is also the auto installer. Good luck...!!
  20. Ok... the classic mod project has already started. We'll do the following vintage teams, arenas, ices, etc. (all 53-54) 34 Boston Bruins 35 Chicago Black Hawks 36 Detroit Red Wings 95 Montreal Canadiens 96 NY Rangers 39 Toronto Maple Leafs 40 Canada '72 41 USSR '72 42 USA '80 43 USSR '80 (all 84-85) 44 Boston Bruins 45 Buffalo Sabres 46 Calgary Flames 47 Chicago Black Hawks 48 Detroit Red Wings 49 Edmonton Oilers 50 Hartford Whalers 97 LA Kings 52 Minnesota North Stars 53 Montreal Canadiens 56 New Jersey Devils 57 NY Islanders 58 NY Rangers 59 Philadelphia Flyers 60 Pittsburgh Penguins 61 Quebec Nordiques 62 St. Louis Blues 63 Vancouver Canucks 64 Winnipeg Jets 65 Washington Capitals 2000-2001 season is soon done. Remember these lineups: The interface will use vintage ESPN graphics from the site (year 2000). More about the classic mod here.
  21. A few screenshots of my playoff Colorado-series (w/ HDR mod)
  22. People who want to change their ESPN interface we have an alternative now: NHL.com. It has all same specs as the 100% rewritten ESPN version. This is a bold statement, but no other sports game has these features. Automatic boxscore saving, endless replays, full simmed game boxscores + scoring summaries, injury reports, team performance reports, scouting reports, dynasty history, etc. etc.
  23. Hi guys... remember this thread? Here's an excerpt from my ongoing Nashville season GAME 2, playoff 1st round, the Western Conference in General Motors Place, Vancouver BC I made small changes. Scratched Ortmayer and dressed Jones. I also moved Arnott to the 2nd line and gave David Legwand a chance to run the show in the 1st. Vancouver was clearly dominating the first 10 minutes but besides the puck possession and lots of shots they didn't have any serious scoring chances. Rinne was playing very solidly and took their pressure very calmly. It's not like my NSH team has a lot of big physical players... the size can't match the 90's Flyers team but I still decided to play very physically. The ref let the players play tonight... so I ran Sundin, Sedins and other 'Nucks key players in every possible occasion. No space = no shots, no goals. Here's Greg deVries showing the right playoff attitude. 14:04 David Legwand scored the first goal. It was a great feeling. No other hockey game comes even close... you really have to EARN your goals when it's playoff time. It really is a rewarding thing when things start rolling. Then came the game winning goal. And what a goal... Sullivan sneaked to the front of the net and the Big Man Jason Arnott gave him a perfect pass. There are onetimers, and then there are amazing onetimers. This was the latter. Vancouver scored the 1-2 goal right after that. Beautiful combination of D.Sedin-Bieksa. Apparently I was still feeling great and too comfortable for that great Arnott-Sullivan goal. Start of the 3rd period... Darcy Hordichuck is always a great player when the playoffs start. As I said previously, his goals ended my previous LA season. In this game he recorded 3 shots on goal. Time for Wade Belak to do his job. You can see from Hordi's face that Belak is too much for him to chew. Win for Belak and the emotion boost for NSH right from the start of 3rd period. Who says there is no fighting in playoff hockey? The rest of the game was Steve Sullivan - Jason Arnott show. The Big man and the Little Man recorded 0+3 and 3+0 tonight. A hat trick for Steve S, Arnott being the catalyst once again. Not so many hats in the road games. After the 1-3 goal, here's what I did. Don't neglet these settings, they ARE useful. Great 1-4 win, and the series is tied 1-1. Much easier to move back home now. Man of the match. SCORING / PENALTY SUMMARY: VANCOUVER 1 NASHVILLE 4 1st period 04:31 NSH PEN M.ERAT Roughing, minor 14:04 NSH GOAL (0:1) D.LEGWAND J.DUMONT, S.WEBER 2nd period 11:19 NSH GOAL (0:2) S.SULLIVAN J.ARNOTT 12:03 VAN GOAL (1:2) D.SEDIN K.BIEKSA, J.HANSEN 15:30 VAN PEN D.HORDICHUK Hooking, minor 3rd period 00:28 VAN PEN D.HORDICHUK Fighting, major 00:28 NSH PEN W.BELAK Fighting, major 13:52 NSH GOAL (1:3) S.SULLIVAN M.ERAT, J.ARNOTT 19:34 NSH GOAL (1:4) S.SULLIVAN M.ERAT, J.ARNOTT
