  1. What an awful job 2k sports did this year with minor league players. Seems like they just said the heck with it. I just finished adding all my AA and AAA players from the actual minor league rosters.Probably 98% of minor league players were fake. And that's just on my team. I am now playing all my schedule AA and AAA games since you still can't play A games. Very nice to play minor league games with real name players.

  2. Using Ty's Editor you can add your own real minor league names. I was frustrated to see only a hand full of real minor league Met players on the rosters. So I make my own. You have to equal out the roster players by moving the fake names into free agency. For some reason the game allows you to go over the 25 man limit, but you can't release a player even though you are over, so you have to do it from the editor. If you are into realistic player faces, then this method won't be for you, because you can only control skin tone, height, & weight. I am good with it so I don't mind. I wish I knew more about the generic faces and there respective number assignments; this way you could probably get a more realistic cyber face.

  3. It's a shame 2k limited one bat logo, because if you notice gold lettering is usually used on black bats, and black lettering on light color bats. For example: your black Louisville Slugger logo won't show on a black bat. The gold is probably the best choice for 2k since you can still make it out on a light color bat. Keep the logo's coming Pena1! Excellent work.

  4. Yes you can. On the bottom of the FA list, there are a bunch of players that have no names but still have the other slots filled out. Just scroll down and look for a bunch of slots that are filled with stars/asteriks instead of player names

Thanks. I did that but the player does not show up in the FA list in the actual game. What I am doing wrong? I am saving the file before I close it.

  5. I know it is a little early for a patch, but there are areas in the game that need to be addressed.

    For me, are the following:

1.The base coaches need to interact more with runners. ie, approach them when on base or a hand shake or a slap on the *** as they round the bases on a homer.

    2. The pitcher needs to look back when there's a runner on 2nd base.

    3. What happened to the bat boy on 2k mode? I've seen him once in 50+ games played.

    4. Fix the outfielder from sprinting to the infield on a home run that's hit hard and way over the fence.

    5. I don't know how many years the damn runner has been running into the catcher when he scores without a play at home; fix that thing already.

  6. Well this might be an ambitous project but I hope I will get it done. I plan to make overlays for all 30 teams so you can have whatever overlay you like. I would appreciate your help by posting the team and its respective cable provider.

    NY Yankees = YES

    Boston Red Sox = NESN

    NY Mets = SNY

SF Giants = Comcast Sports Network (CSN)

    Baltimore O's & Washington Nat's = masn HD

    Cleveland Indians = SportsTimeOhio

Seattle M's & Pittsburgh Pirates & Colorado Rockies = Root Sports

Texas Rangers = Fox Sports South West, TXA21

    Toronto Blue Jays = SportsNet

I noticed that 2k sports logo covers the SNY logo during the inning. Don't know why, but I threw both files where they suppose to go.

  7. I know a lot of people don't bother changing games every year, but 2k12 is a world apart from 2k11. The ball dynamics, the infield chops, infield pop ups you never saw in 2k11. Throwing errors are super realistic, as well as the running. The runners circle the bases no more sharp left turns on the pads any more.

Where 2k sports hasn't improved: The pitcher STILL does not turn his head to second base when a runner occupies it. The base coaches should approach the base runners when they are on, or congratulate them when they are rounding the bases on homers. As far as Citi Field goes; ironically the first HR I hit was with David Wright and landed in the new row of seats in left field. The ball hit off the old wall which would have been a double instead of a HR! The new dimensions make Citi Field a hitter friendly park.

2k12 has some glitches but not many.

  8. Bud, I'm starting to think you should just start ONE thread titled "Strawberry's Support Questions" and keep updating it from there.

Those are randomly generated faces. They can't be edited and are not a generic one. You can either leave it or overwrite it. You cannot replace it either. In other words once its gone from that player it's gone forever. You can't give coco crisp #65535 and expect the same cyberface, it will be a bald generic head in game.

That's actually a good idea, I like that. :spiteful:
