  1. Yeah I'm trying not to get repetitive, and since they started watermarking the MLB.com photos, it's hard.

What do you mean? The pictures aren't watermarked for me... how are you getting the photos?

  2. the cbs sportsline trick isnt workin for me anymre... anyone else have this prob...

It's still working. Just make sure that the address of the photo has "lower" at the end of that, and replace that with 1024x768. You also have to go to individual teams' photo galleries; you can't use photos from the main MLB page.

  3. --I'm starting to get fired up for the Yankees. In each game, we've crushed the Red Sox pitching. But our pitching did get crushed in game 2 on Friday. I just hope that the starters can improve before the playoffs.

--Did anyone here see that movie World Trade Center? How is it?

--Got a new cell phone this week. I got a Treo. I used to have a Razr, but I needed something with e-mail because of my job, so I had to get rid of it. I liked the Razr. It was a nice phone, and very thin, which is the way I like phones.

--I wonder how the Red Sox front office is feeling now, after they didn't resign Damon.

--Do any of you guys like buying stuff off Half.com? They have some really good prices. I also like newegg.com

  4. Thx for the compliment. As for the brushes for the sparkles, it was a set called SPACEIFX that I got off of DeviantArt. I'd upload them here in the message but the file is about 5.5 MB.

Thanks. I really like your backgrounds.

EDIT: Is it possible you can give me a link to the brushes? I can't find them on DeviantArt.

  5. Thanks you guys, how do you brushe them on?Do you just like keep clicking all over the sig or what?

You decide where the brush will look good, and brush that part of the sig. By the way, it is always helpful to fill the background with a solid color, and then use a white brush. That's what I do. And if you don't like the color, you can always change the hue/saturation.

  6. Weird.Anyways what brushes does every use for good backgrounds?

I like using Fractal and Abstract brushes for the background. However, I know a lot of people that love using Grunge brushes, but I never really got into them.

  7. I do agree with some of what you are saying NYM, but in reality you are a teenager, and have your whole life in front of you. Now wait 10 years when you are an adult, and have to face reality everyday. I am not saying life is depressing, but an adult, and a teen-ager....your 14 or 15 right, They have two totally different outlooks in life.

That's right. Being a teenager and an adult are two totally different things. Life was so much better when all I had to do during the week was go to school from 8-3. Now, I have to leave my house before 6 AM, and I don't get home until close to 7 PM.

  8. Hi. Who can make a sig with david ortiz and papelbon. and write this on the sig: the best two closer

    PaPi - BoMb

    ?????????????

You only have to ask once, but I'll take it.

*edit - I don't understand what you want me to write on the sig.

  9. I think thats something everyone runs into. To me, all of my sigs look the same, even though I dont make that many. I find i consistently use the same 3-4 brushes, same general layouts, fonts, colors, and what not... its hard to break a rut... and im not real creative to begin with lol...

Yeah, that's exactly the way I am. Art was my worst subject in school. It was the subject that ruined my GPA. But, yeah: I always use the same brushes, layouts, and fonts.

  10. Good points Fastlink and Tigers. I'm going to start experimenting a little more, and I'm going to try to make my sigs look a little more different than what most of mine look like. Thanks for the input.
