Yes , last year's Paul McCartney halftime show was very good. One can only hope the Stones will play the classic hits today like "Satisfaction" and "Start Me Up" instead of new material.

On the same topic Jesse Jackson and friends were upset about the Super Bowl not having a Motown-themed halftime show. I for one would have liked to seen The Temptations , Smokey Robinson , and Aretha Franklin all singing their respective hits from the 60's and 70's , it would be better than the Stones for sure.

Oh yeah, Paul McCartney was great. I'm really glad that they stopped with the new crap music halftime stuff.

But yes, I do hope the Stones play some of their classic hits. I love their stuff from the albums Aftermath, and Let It Bleed. If somehow, their song lineup went like this, I'd be very, very happy:

I am hoping that they will do Gimme Shelter. I love that song.

If somebody could make me an Atlanta Braves sig I would be greatful. I am thinking something with either Chipper or Andruw Jones, and maybe something to do with 14 straight division titles? Also make sure punchout is on there somewhere.

I used to make some nice sigs, but have been so busy the past year I have all but forgot.

My random thoughts:

--The Jets are probably not going to win today, but I'll still be watching the game.

--I couldn't care less about Nomar being signed by the Dodgers. They better get another first baseman, because Nomar will get injured the first week of the season (that is if he makes it out of spring training of course)

--If the Yankees don't do well next year, I will get so pissed. It's so strange to see them not win the World Series in 5 years, after they won 4 World Series in 5 years.

--The Colts said that they're goal isn't to go undefeated. I kind of have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it would be cool to see a team go 16-0. On the other, to me, a Superbowl means more than an undefeated season.

--I'm glad Winter's here. There are some things about summer that I love like baseball, but I just can't stand the hot weather. I love doing all of the Winter things like making fires, watching my kids go sledding, and going skiing.

--Speaking of skiing, I am in the process of planning a trip to Steamboat in Colorado in February to go skiing. I can't wait. I just love the sport.

--I'm glad that the holidays are comming up. It's going to give me a much needed break from work. I teach 6th grade math, and there are some 6th graders who really give me a hard time. But I still love the job.

Holy cow! Those sigs are awesome! My only suggestion is to lower the opacity on the scanlines. Otherwise, they are great!

T4L- Thanks. What I do is zoom in 200x, and then use the eraser to get rid of the background. I change the size of the eraser depending on the size of the background I want to erase.

Any particular reason for the .gif? Sigs look much better when they are .bmp. Anyway, I'll start to work on it later. I can't work on it now because I'm in Florida, and I don't have Photoshop on this laptop. I'm scheduled to land in New York 3-ish, so I'll probably start in around 4:30.

What do you guys think of this? The only thing I might want to change would be the Bucs logo, but I'm not sure what to do to it.

Did anyone see that 'bash brothers' flash sig? I wonder how much bandwidth it takes up. It's pretty cool.

I tried to create something similar, but didn't have much luck. Flash isn't really what I'm good at. I'm much better at HTML and Javascript, but I'm still going to play around with it more until my 30-day trial is over.

Here's my new sig. What do you guys think of it? I think my cut-outs are becoming better.

I just paste the new pic and zoom in 2x, then use a 19pt brush and go over most of it, then use a 3-5pt brush for the rest. I also use a touchpad, and I find it easier than a regular mouse. With a mouse my hand always shakes.

Do you really find it easier with a touchpad? Because I have a laptop with a touchpad. I'll try it.

I know my cutouts need a lot of work. Whenever I show someone my sigs, they all say the same thing... "Great backgrounds, terrible cutouts"

What I normally do is copy and paste the pic to a new photoshop document. I then go to filter-extract, and use that method. I then use an eraser to erase the remaining parts of the pic that I don't want. My brush sies varies. For small areas, I use a small brush, and for large areas, I use a larger brush.

Kerry and Friedman, thanks guys. The thing about the logo, though; I did get the logo from sportslogos.net and I then shrunk it and I tried to make it look as if it was coming out at you but I guess that didn't come across very well. So, it's blurry on purpose. The un-blurred alternative:

Why don't you mess around with the transperency of the logo? That might work. But the sig is great otherwise.

Pretty good! However, like Kerry said, the logo quality isn't that great. Fix that, and you'll have yourself a pretty good sig.
