And thanks to the great modders that keep this games (mvp05 and mlb2k12) alive, and all the people who gave me answers to my questions over the years. I really don't understand, why people in this forum sometimes are so aggressive?, this is a game and we are suppose to enjoy and get it better (a 2005 game!!!) with all the great mods. Why a misunderstanding has to end like this? all of you are great, we need some tolerance, Jed, Jeferomer, Jim, Y4L, Dafly you makes us to have some relax with our hard life. this forum will miss a lot any of you.

Bad news in my case, I changed the EXE location but I have the same problem trying to use the Year Changer, so I keep playing with 17 years old players in MLB :C.

Hi Daflyboys, it's been almost 4,5 months since I starts using your sliders, they are really great I only made some little adjustments (as you asked me for feedback) 1) User Pith Difficulty: -25 2) Pitch Speed: 25 3) User Pitcher Fatigue: 0 4) Cpu Pitcher Fatigue: 8 5) Cpu Batting contact: 0 6) Cpu Batting Power: 0 7) User Bunting Ability: 15 Probably I had to increase the Cpu contact and power because I keep using "bigger_pitchmeter_datafile", but the other sliders I change related to Fatigue and Bunting could be tried in your new version. Hi Daflybloy, I have two questions 1) With this change the Year Changer should work or it's a different problem? 2) If #1 response is Yes I suppose I need to change my seasons, rosters and profile from MyDocuments/ Eamods Mvp08 folder to MyDocuments/Mvp Baseball 2005 folder or it's not necessary? Hi Y4L I think is a good idea to create a manual of the basic rules related to the mods and what can everyone do and don't, not so long so everyone read it, 4 or 5 points like (in my so-so English): 1) don't modify any mods (work) from other members without permission that includes adding beards, accessories etc. 2) don't use anyone mods (work) for other mods without permission, for example MVP for other countries or languages. 3) don't publish any mods (work) in any web site without permission. Any new user must accept this rules and also every time a member is going to add a new mod, also at the download section it must appear. I can help to translate to Spanish, and you can find someone of the asian members that helps translating to Japanese and other popular Asian languages.

What a great idea from Y4L, it's really a great combination of old time masters to new masters, with MVP and MLB modders, I really enjoy and expect the week update to prove my knowledge of all the reading I've been doing.

I just remembered when I played bb in my Atari, it was great but no real rosters, no seasons, no stats. Mostly was imagination and using a notebook (paper) a pencil and a calculator for the info about my season. Really enjoyed but nothing like MVP05!!!

jogar84 thanks, so I suppose the higher the rating is means that the probability that the player miss the pitching is higher, I'm right?

Hi, Jim/modders: could I modify the id assigned but in Legends of the Booth?, I don't want to do it directly at the roster mostly because I changed a lot of attributes in my rosters. Thanks

Jim/Yankee4life thanks again, could you please help me to: 1) Confirm the next info with your current MVP13 rosters (to be sure about my roster) : - Brian Mccan. Mvp13 Number id: 2976. Legends of the Booth NI: 7919 - Jacoby Ellsbury Mvp13 Number id: 6283. Legends of the Booth NI: 8283 - John Lester Mvp13 Number id: 2938. Legends of the Booth NI: 3938 - Elvis Andrus Mvp13 Number id: 7560. Legends of the Booth NI: 4560. Probably a minor omission that the last 3 are “wrong” only for the 1st number. And it's correct no Freddie Freeman, Gregor Blanco, David Freese, Hideki Kuroda, Brett Gardner and Mitch Moreland in Legends of Booth mostly young/recent players as Jim mentioned. 2) And as I understand: Mvpedit only works with the current rosters (with no changes) so if I have a rosters saved with some variations (just ratings and some red/hot zones) there is no way to edit them with MVedit, that’s correct? 3) Yankee4life with MVP13 I only installed as additional mods: Daflys Rosters, bigger pitchmeter datafile, some faces (all from Jed and Jogar) and the Fox Overlay from Juniorabad (really good probably needs and English version), so seems that as Jim or/and you mentioned using this mod with the current season makes to appear this few cases This mod is really amazing, with 8 teams that I already played the audio “issues” are limited to 4 or 5 players for team and not the most “famous”, I’ll continue to enjoy it, really a great and hard job for OBTJoel. Ficoelindiano a ver como te va, a mi al principio me costó y pase por todos los problemas que muchos comentan, al final pude y esta es la mejor forma a mi criterio: 1) Instala una versión limpia de Mvp05, por limpia, se recomienda una nueva desde el Cd más los tres primeros parches oficiales. 2) La versión limpia la copias (o movés) y ojalá renombres la carpeta (yo le puse MVP13) en el desktop/escritorio. Esto es muy importante porque la mayoría de los problemas se presentan cuando queda en Program Files/Archivos de Programa. 3) Baja el Mod de Mvp13 a tu PC, luego lo sacas del Zip y posteriormente lo corres (explodeme) para instalarlo donde pusiste la versión limpia. Ya estás listo para jugar pero es increíble como podes actualizar temas ya que salen mods complementarios constantemente, yo recomiendo al menos: 1) Instalar el Total Installer Thingy con el que fácilmente agregas mejoras de otros, ponelo donde tenés él MVP13. 2) Esencial que instales el ultimo roster, el mejor siempre es el de Daflyboys este es el link. http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=8109 Avisame como te va y si querés recomendaciones de otros mods me avisas, hay buenísimos.

Hi Jim, I'm lost I import the roster with MVPedit to my PC, then I opened and locate some of the players that their audio are incorrect for example Gregor Blanco from SF and Mccan, Freeman from Atlanta, Mujica and Freese from the Cards. So what would be the next steps. Thanks for any additional help!!!!

Hi. I found some minor issues, mostly 2 or 3 players for team with the name assigned wrong. I'm a MVP Fan but a totally novice (inexpert) for not saying a useless user in terms of mods. So there is a "simple way" to correct by myself those cases or if I can't assign the right name at least that the announcer don't mention the wrong names. Thanks

Mblaha and new users: my 1st impression some months ago was that a $10 dollars fee was "unacceptable" when almost everything it's free around Internet. But after some months over here I really appreciate the great work that all the modders are doing (for free) because the money is to keep this site working. Some great mods for example: 1) Rosters updates, I don't imagine how much time would take me creating all the players that didn't exist 8 years ago, and the ratings for the new and old ones. 2) Stadiums built during this years (4 or 5). 3) Astros in American League. 4) 2013 schedule. 5) Current teams portraits. 6) Lots of overlay options, etc. So know the $10 dollars IMHO are "nothing" when we have almost a new game during the last 2 years (and the 2008 mod, legends mods etc) and I paid so much for a Fifa (soccer) game every year, no doubt I will make a extra donation to this site during this month. I wrote this to share with the new users how my point of view change radically during these months, so when someone ask something related of having problems with the 2 downloads for free for day I have the same opinion that Daffly and Yankee4life expressed, but them I remembered that some months ago I thought like some of the new users. So contribute with this site, this are one of the best ways to expend $10 dollars.

Hi, For Kyleb/Dafly/Dennis/Jed/Dylan and all the great team: there is a minus issue but probably it's the only topic that seems that can't be resolve by many of the novice users (as I am). We can't use the Year Changer and believe me I read almost every article in this forum about it, also I tried almost everything for example I have the MVP folder in my desktop, I run the program as administrator, I try to use it in in other versions than Windows 7 etc, but the Tywiggins tool doesn´t work in my pc. Could any of you help us with a patch for the game so that the current age of the players could be resolve as you did it with the schedule that was included? that would be great because as I said is a minus issue but when some of my players are with 14 or 15 years old playing at MLB I felt "frustrated" that I can't resolve it by myself. Thanks!!
