Just player faces for now.
-
Use this program to make the changes. Using the .dat exporter will create all of those .dat files. Then when you run the importer, it will write all of the information into the memory. With this program you edit each player individually. When you click the save changes button, only the selected player's information is changed in the memory. The main difference between this program and MVPEdit is that my program will make changes to an open dynasty/owner mode. (Besides my program not being finished)

I didn't see your edits before. You may be right about the 3 sets being for the 3 body types. I thought there might be some potential for the 916-945 faces, but I guess not. I'm going to go ahead and limit the facenumber in the editor to 1 through 915. You're welcome. I'm glad you like them. Kraw vs Ty result: I'd let kraw have it. It could potentially save us both some brain damage. :)

I imported face c549 as g016 and it still crashed. I imported face c549 as g017 and the face looks disfigured.
-
Try comparing the orl and the ord files. I compared g001 with g016 and they weren't the same. even though g001.fsh and g016.fsh were the same

Right now, I'm trying to add almost all of the stuff from the attrib.dat and extra.dat files. Also, I've been changing the face numbers, and have noticed something: Face 916 crashed the game. Face 917 worked. Face 918 worked but had "missing textures" on his arms. Face 919 crashed the game. Face 920 worked. Face 921 worked. Face 922 worked but had "missing textures" on his arms. Are the generic faces the g001 - g015 files in the models.big file? If so, are the g016 - g045 more generic faces? If you import the g015 files into g016, will Face 916 then work? Can someone do further testing on this?

The first post in the thread.

Probably within a few days.

The easiest way to reproduce the error is to select a player, then press the Save button, then press the ok button in the message box, then press the save button again. The error was that whenever the editor is reactivated, it would load the last player on the roster into the memory. After you press the save button it would get written into the right place, but most of the attributes data would be from the last player on the roster.

v0.15 - Fixed bug that JuUaAn mentioned. Also, when you save, the editor will load the new portrait. Also you won't get an error message like kraw posted if the editor can't load the picture. It loads an error picture instead.

But if you move your boxscores you will need to move the images folder and the all.css file along with it. So say you want to upload your boxscores to a website: In the main directory, you want to have the all.css file and the images folder. Also in the main directory, you need a folder that contain your boxscores.
-
He means the all.css file.

If you have MVP Baseball installed somewhere other than: "C:Program FilesEA SPORTSMVP Baseball 2005datafrontendportrait.big" You will need to change it in the makebmp.bat file to the path of your portrait.big file.
-
Has something like this happened to anyone besides JuUaAn? JuUaAn, can you try and reproduce the error and let me know how I can see it for myself?
-
v0.14 now shows the player's portrait.
-
Which version of the program did that happen with?
-
This might be able to do it. http://www.justdosoft.com/VBto-Converter-x25593.html
-
Okay. I fixed that in v0.13.
-
There's probably no easy way to convert them.
-
Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. I'll fix that.

New in version 0.12: Removed most buttons. Added photo type. I'm not entirely sure what the 3 types are. 0 is currently used for Default, Default player -- But I don't see any difference between 0 and 1. 1 is for normal player portraits 2 seems to be for the computer created players portraits - With photoids of 10000 or above
-
This is now in v0.11. Any other suggestions?
-
I'm sure it's possible. But right now MVPEdit's layout is too complicated for my programming skills. (This is totally new to me. I just started yesterday)
-
Nope. I actually tried(and failed) to get that program to work with MVP 2005 before I started working on the .dat exporter/importer.

This program is for making changes to your dynasty/owner mode. What can be edited: Player attributes, batting attributes, pitching attributes. Please read the readme.txt file. MVP2005 Editor Thread If you like it, please go to My Website and make a paypal donation. Note: Requires Visual C++ 2008 Runtime, and .NET Framework 2.0 Links for both are here: http://tywiggins.eamods.com/required.html New in version 0.30 - Setup button on menu. Use this so the program knows where to find your portraits and faces. - Now supports languages other than English. Read below for more information. - Now requires Visual C++ 2008 Runtime Components. A link to it is in required.html Language support: The program will let you choose from all of the .txt files in the "loc" folder. Currently, the only completed language is english. To add support for a new language, all you need is to create a new text file in the "loc" folder. Example: You want to add support for German. 1. Rename "Copy of English.txt" to "Deutsch.txt" 2. Then open "Deutsch.txt" in a text editor, and translate every line into German. 3. Save the file. To change the current language: Click the UN Flag in the bottom left hand corner. Either Double-Click on the language, or select it and press the Enter key on your keyboard. If you want me to include your language file(s) with future versions of the program, send them to me.
