  1. Here is the latest build. I will begin working on kraw's layout now.
  2. Not very far, I decided to work on this before I get to yours.
  3. Read this http://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/Double_steal
  4. Here's a 1 - inning game that I played that went to 6 innings. Boxscore extracted with my latest build.
  5. Oh, and I can't do the score after every play.
  6. Are you sure it was Reyes? He shouldn't have been on base if he grounded out.
  7. If you do a double steal and one runner gets caught, the other runner isn't supposed to get credit for the stolen base. Either both players get a stolen base, or neither player gets a stolen base. Stolen bases aren't part of the my log. (The game doesn't keep track of when a player stole a base)
  8. That one worked. I don't know why the first one didn't work for me. I'm using Winrar 3.50. Jose Castillo's at bat in the top of the 7th was scored by the game as a (runner 3rd out). Even though he was the first to come up to bat. The Error column in the Fielding stats is too wide.
  9. I still have a little work to do on the gamelog. I've fixed some errors. I've added links to the player names. I check if the file exists to give you a chance to rename or move the files. And I added in the 'X' option for exhibition games. (Though I haven't taken the season stats out yet). I should finish Kraw's layout tonight.
  10. Winrar didn't like the file. ! C:downloadstest.rar: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged ! C:downloadstest.rar: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged ! C:downloadstest.rar: No files to extract ------ Anyway, the game must have not recorded one of the pirates player's at bats in the game log. That's why cincinnatti's pitch count didn't work.
  11. I do have reached "reached base on an error". The game must have scored that particular play wrong. It happens sometimes. I might be able to show pitcher substitutions.
  12. Could you copy and paste the game log from the first one?
  13. That first one didn't work. Was this second one simmed or did you play?
  14. Shoot. I didn't realize that you can't attach .htm files. Either make it into a zip file, or send it to me at tywiggins@hotmail.com. Edit: nevermind
  15. Could you please attach your boxscore to your next post.
  16. Would someone help me out by testing the latest build of my program? Sim part of the game, and play part of the game. Then run this version of the box score extractor. Then post your game log. Also while you're testing could you try a double switch in the game?
  17. Kraw, I was just looking at your boxscore again, and I noticed that you didn't have Walks or Strikouts in your pitching stats. Was that intentional or an accident?
  18. I will be adding an 'X' option to the program. You will use this for exhibition game. If you select the 'X' option, then the season totals and records will also not be displayed. (At least with kraw's layout)
  19. biker_jim_uk is right. But, I will remove "(runner was the 3rd out)" anyway. Sometimes the game stores the result of the at bat as "runner 3rd out", even if it wasn't the 3rd out of the inning.
  20. If RichK was interested, I could give him all of the information he needs to make his program read from MVP Baseball's memory instead of from a savefile. The data is stored in the same way.
  21. That's not fixed yet. I've determined that the problem is that the game occasionally doesn't record an at-bat in the game log. So in the next version I will output the game log even if it is incomplete.
  22. I answered your question before I saw it. Actually, right now I'm doing bugfixes. Then I'll add in a couple of little things, then I'll start working on your layout. If anyone notices any bugs that haven't been mentioned let me know.
