  1. Can you give me the whole error message? Also, what type of file are you editing?
  2. I watched your video. In the future, please don't make videos as .exe files. Also, you can't really prove that something like this occurred with a series of screenshots. That is so easy to fake. I was mostly just wanting a screenshot of the message, so that I could confirm that it's the MLB2K10 insert DVD message. Nothing in my program tells your computer to run MLB2K10.exe. Two possible explanations: 1. You are lying 2. Somehow ExeShield is running MLB2K10.exe instead of my program after you click Try. Possibly because of your language. Here's the link to the video if anyone wants to watch it: http://www.multiupload.com/PZX7ZFSY9D
  3. The installer is not working for you? Maybe you need to be an administrator to install. If you have 7-zip (maybe winzip, winrar, etc...), you can extract MLB2K10 Roster Editor.exe to wherever you want.
  4. Hmm. I have no idea. I thought you were joking. Can you show a screenshot of the message?
  5. If you have problems running it, try this: If you have 32-bit windows, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=a5c84275-3b97-4ab7-a40d-3802b2af5fc2 If you have 64-bit windows, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ba9257ca-337f-4b40-8c14-157cfdffee4e If that doesn't help, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7 If you still have problems, let me know.
  6. Version 0.11 done. If you click my signature, you are taken to a page that has a paypal "Buy Now" button, and a link to the download page. This version has a 3650 day free trial. changes since version 0.10 New features: compressed roster.iff can now be decompressed by the program A status label in the bottom left corner. In addition to what you could edit with version 0.10, you can now edit: names skintone Bats Throws Position fixes: removed non-players from the player list
  7. I think I have the names editing working perfectly. In the default roster, you are limited to 4000 bytes for new names. After using my program on the default roster, there is 38264 bytes for new names. And any old names that are no longer used get removed. I haven't tested to see if the in-game editor will let you make use of this space, but I have a hunch that it will. I did create a couple of players with the in-game editor after I freed up the space for more names. I didn't notice any problems. I simmed a whole season, and I didn't notice any problems. I'm going to see if I can get skintone, position, throws, and bats done in the next few hours and get version 0.11 released.
  8. The draft class is generated when you start the draft. And you can't save during the draft. So it looks like the draft class would have to be edited in the game's memory.
  9. I'm still working on it, but I'm pretty sure that I'll get it working. This is just the first version. I took the interface from last year's version, but I disabled reading and saving most of the information, because the information is stored in a different place than last year. I will be adding in new things with each version. I may not have properly accounted for the create a players last year. This year, I'm making sure to keep the reserved space for the names for the My Player, the 50 Create a players, 6 Teams, and 12 managers. I'll be sure to test out create a players after I get the name editing done. I'll go ahead and add skin tones to the list for the next version.
  10. I'm still working on the second version. The first version you can get to by clicking my signature, then clicking the "Download page" link at the bottom of the page. The only place that I'm aware of where you can buy and download MLB2K10 is gamestop. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=76509
  11. If you have a debit or credit card, you can pay without creating a paypal account if you want. Here's how: 1. click my signature. 2. click my Buy Now button. 3. to the left of the "log in to paypal" box, click the "continue" link. 4. fill out the form, and press the "review order and continue" button. 5. If your information is correct, click the "Pay now" button.
  12. If you buy MLB2K10 roster editor, you get all future updates to MLB2K10 roster editor for free.
  13. Yes, the game requires the dvd. My program doesn't require the dvd. Since you were asking in my thread, it is reasonable to assume that you were talking about my program.
  14. Yes. You can get a 25% discount though. Two ways: 1. Send me $7.50 and your registration number for MLB2K10 roster editor. You can use the Paypal donate button here: http://tywiggins.mlbmods.com 2. Buy it for $10.00. Give me your MLB2K10 roster editor registration number, and tell me that you purchased MLB2K9 roster editor and would like the discount. I'll send you $2.50 back. Either way, I will check to make sure that you did buy MLB2K9 roster editor.
  15. No. You do not need the cd / dvd running.
  16. you can use http://downloads.moddingway.com/file/2909.html to decompress your roster.iff you can also load .ros .fxg .cmg files from your saves folder. In windows 7 the saves folder is -- C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K10\Saves In windows XP the saves folder is -- C:\Users\username\Application Data\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K10\Saves
  17. You probably didn't reload the page. My guess is between 2 and 7 days. Here's my list of what I'll add for the next version: Names Position Throws Bats
  18. The number that I show is the number that is stored in the roster files. It matches the players cyberface number for pretty much everyone that has their own cyberface. The numbers that NBA2K10 Mod tool are just how the portraits are arranged in the file. You might ask the guy that wrote the NBA2K10 Mod tool if he knows how the game finds the appropriate portrait from the portrait number. I wasn't able to find out last year.
  19. Thanks. I forgot to add the end quote on the link. It works in Chrome now.
  20. Do you mean the numbers that the NBA2K10 Mod tool shows? Like 0 = 455193 . The first number is the index, the second number is the address where the portrait is in the portrait.cdf file.
  21. One person got that error last year. He never left a second message though, so I'm not sure if he fixed it. If you have 32-bit windows, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=a5c84275-3b97-4ab7-a40d-3802b2af5fc2 If you have 64-bit windows, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ba9257ca-337f-4b40-8c14-157cfdffee4e If that doesn't help, install this -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7
  22. I'll have to look into this. Name editing will be in the next version. You can replace portraits with this: http://downloads.moddingway.com/file/2909.html That will be in the next version. That will be in the next version.
  23. Version 0.10 done. If you click my signature, you are taken to a page that has a paypal "Buy Now" button, and a link to the download page. This first version has a 3650 day free trial. You can edit: 1. uncompressed roster.iff -- Default Roster 2. .ros files -- Roster 3. .fxg files -- Franchise 4. .cmg files -- My Player (Career) What you can edit: portrait number face number Date of Birth jersey number height weight Other features: Automatically backs up your file every time you save it. These files are saved in the MLB2K10 Roster Editor folder. The files have the original name followed by ".bak" followed by the date the file was backed up, followed by the time the file was backed up. There is also a button to delete all of the automatic backups in your MLB2K10 Roster Editor folder
  24. Yes, I've already made the My Player files editable.
  25. I found my code for MLB2K9 Roster Editor and have started making some changes to update it for MLB2K10. It can load uncompressed roster.iff, .ROS files, and .FXG files. I know the checksums on the .ROS and .FXG files are the same as last year, so that won't be a problem. So far: I have the Players and Team names loading. I can search by player name, or see a list of all of the players on a team. I can also see the face number for each player. The first release may be within a day or two.
