Here is the new and improved Minute Maid Park. I adjusted the actual grass "texture" and infield dirt and textures as well. The dirt will change colors over time throughout the innings and some seams may show but it's not that big of a deal and barely noticeable. Make sure to back up your old stadium just in case you don't like my work. This is an updated Fenway Park. Updated field color, walls, night time lighting was done by kccitystar. ads were done by dennisjames and DonSPa -

THANKS MAN! I really wish I could tweak the game more than we can now. I do believe at some point if we get some people to learn how to hex edit, we can change around a lot more and make it look even better!

Ok...so the ones that I have as close for a version 1.0 are as follows....Fenway, Minute Maid, Angels Stadium and Turner Field. PNC and Oakland are still a work in progress but I will add that one to the final pack as well. I will also include the new sky textures that vary from KC's already amazing work (so be sure to back his files up in a folder). Look for them to hit this weekend.

Soon my friend...soon! :D

Still working on some more stadiums. Trying to do my research and get them as close as possible to the 2013 season. I will upload the finished ones by this weekend and continue to work on the others. Thanks for your patience!

It looks like your enb moodsettinngs got screwed up. Try deleting it and download the fxaa mod on the skyrim mod page. Just google fxaa skyrim and you will find it. Good luck.

Where have you gone TWNLOVE? We need more CF love from you! -
THAT'S GOT TO BE IT MissionMaximus... Unfortunately I don't know the first thing about Hex Editing. I could always learn though.. .that's what Google is for right?
-
Thanks man! When are we gonna see some more CFs from you? We desperately need a solid Kris Medlen! I tried but I know you can make it great!
-
Will do. You ok with that dennisjames?
-
I noticed this also. I will look into it my friend.

You will not need an FXAA plugin to get the textures. They look great without it as well. I just personally feel that the FXAA makes the entire look of the game "pop" as long as the settings are correct. Otherwise the game looks too blown out. Once I upload the files, you will simply just back up your old Turner Field and Fenway Park before you replace them. They have all of the other mods combined with mine as well, and then the sky textures will be in a folder just like KC's. I think his are great as well so make sure you have them saved before you replace them. I just wanted a different cloudy look to some games. After all, there are more than just 3 different skies daily! 2K just once again cut corners.

I will see what I can do. I haven't been able to change the actual "patterns" of the grass, only the texture and the way it reflects light with the alpha channel. For some reason, the dds file won't open in photoshop. I will see what I can do though.

Okay guys...without further ado, I present to you with the new and improved MLB 2K13! Suck on that The Show! This is what can happen when a group of talented artists get together and create something amazing! I only take credit for the new sky texture, the improved grass and the new and improved dirt texture. I have an FXAA tool running with custom settings which barely effects the frame rate at all! What do you guys think?

Ok. I believe I have mastered the dirt at Turner Field. I played a game without simming and the dirt didn't really start drying up until about the 7th inning! Also I have created a much more realistic grass texture that I layered overtop of KC's already brilliant color schemes. I will upload my completely modded Fenway and Turner field for you all to try out and test for me. I'm really excited for the feedback and thank you all for welcoming me to this amazing community! Also, I have only been able to adjust the contrast, brightness and texture of the dirt. I would like to find a way to make it that "Clay" color that most parks are using this year. Any suggestions?

cgskies.com unfortunately they didn't use true HDR lightning in this game... Oh 2K why are you so far behind the curve? Im gonna try and make my own with a gradient and then add multiple layers of high res clouds until it looks right. I will offset it so it won't have a seam.
-
Thanks man. That would be awesome. I can't seem to find a high enough resolution of what I want without it getting blown out or pixelated. I would like a realistic "fluffy" cloud look without being too saturated or the wrong shade of blue. I'll post some tests tomorrow. In the meantime, I think I nailed Fenway's dirt.

I couldn't agree more! There is no comparison and it only keeps getting better!
-
That actually is helpful information. I've also noticed that when you sim partially through a game it doesn't dry up as fast. Therefore it must be time based, not by inning. Hmmmmm
-
Very true. I will mess around with it when I get a chance. I'm thinking that the timing of the dirt drying is in the code and not the design part however.
-
Has anyone found the umpire face maps yet? It would be nice to manipulate them a little so that don't all look like the missing link! Lol
-
Ok. I will definitely check that out. There are some textures that PS will not open that I am almost positive will change some of what I've been searching for. Hopefully texmod will be able to open these. Thanks bro!
