some say they may go back to ninentdo, since they say it isn't going to cost as much when it comes out. i think it's supposed to be 200 or 300 at launch, not too bad. but i agree, many of their fans will probaly turn on sony and go nintendo. i can see the n being back at #1 in the next couple of years becuase of the outreagous price for the ps3 and the high priced 360. btw, sony was trying to make a computer, instead of just a gaming system. for 600 bucks, i can probaly churn out a decent gamer. at least it isn't 900 like some said it would be. okay, to my thoughts. great walk off for frenchy...you are now offically the new braves star player, especally when chipper and smoltz both retire. got my wireless keyboard, and it's awesome...don't have to be at the desk with the sucky chair all the time now, i'm mobile, can work at the bed. i felt drained this semester, so it feels good to have a break... the local news stations are hyping up hurricane season again...i decided to ingore it this year... not going to any fish games this year...too much and too depressing, although i'm trying to go to a devil rays game. hmm...i can't think of anything else right now.

it is so good having finals overwith. one more semester left...then i have to get a job...eww. and i'm not doing lab work, i aldedy had to send one person to the hospital, in real life labs, they could have died.... anyone have ideas on what else i can do with a biology degree besides stinky lab work? i also like writing, so i may try to jump start my science writing career within the next few weeks. i'm just unlocking the power of my ipod nano now...it's so awesome. i have put my contacts on the thing, but still having problems putting certian things in it. i'm also having trouble with calander configuration though. if i can get those two things fixed, my ipod will be a one stop shop for my notes, instead of carrying messy notes. on ipods, podcasts are awesome, esepcally angels baseball rants and raves. those guys are awesome. and they flip out if you send them the right email like the other day. i'm not letting my summer go to waste this year...i have lots of things on my to do list, some of them inculde mvp stuff though. i doubt modding is in my future though. but sig making might be. i hope the braves don't get sold to more corporations. they ruin everything and treat the team as just another asset in their big buisness. i hope arthur blank gets the team, he's going to do us well. here's a good argument of why coprations suck for sports teams: Corprations Suck. my mouse sucks and my desk is in shambles. i'm getting one of the three hopefully in the next week or so. a. a new desk (very expensive and tedious to reorganize my room), b. fix the sliding bench on my current desk (probly free, but it may be hard to reassemble the parts to it's previous state, and warranty is probaly up) or c. get a wirless keyboard and wireless mouse. i will probaly go with c, since it's probaly the easiest and cheapest option, plus i like to type stuff on my bed instead of my chair, which is the worst in the world to sit on, can't be on it contrablly for more than mabye 20 minutes at a time. so i don't have to be on my chair as much, and just get cushions for it while i'm on it. also, my mouse likes to act up on me with the double clicking and clicking errors, etc and my keyboard is broke. this is one i'm looking at: Keyboard and Mouse. okay? i'm hoping to learn how to make a web site so i can get a couple of projects up and running by the end of the summer. if anyone knows about building websites, pm me. also, i'm not going to the marlins games this week. braves and marlins both suck, and its too far and way too much for the games. i'll just watch them at home. i may see the devil rays at the end of june, but if the braves turn out to be awful, i may change my mind. not wasting my money on stinky teams...i'll wait till texas rolls in or someone good. i miss watching tv on my computer. it was so awesome, you can save screen caps and everything, and i heard that these newer cards are just off the hook. i may have to buy one again. this will do me good when i'm off on my own. fyi, i had to ditch the old one becuase when i put in my new hard drive (long story from last summer, my old drive got whacked with a nasty virus, slowed way down, learned alot about computers then). my old drive had windows 98 info on it even though xp was the current operating system, which the tv card operated on, but my new drive only had xp info on it without 98 info, as it was a brand new drive. i wanted to get a new tv card since, but since the summer was winding down, i decided to put it on the back burner. i'm looking at this one now: TV Card. like it? that's it for now.

you're right. it's a matter of curtosey and deceny about women being in the dugout, not sexist issues. there are places women should just not be allowed in becuase it's just not decent. i don't care if they are working for the same people. i don't want to see women in a place where men can be naked. i bet if it was a man in a womens locker room, the man would get blasted. this isn't a issue of women's equality here, but an issue of curtosey and deceny. i don't know. they think this is the start of football season. it's annoying about the mock drafts or something like that...boring. btw, my saints got reggie bush. intersting point. in mexico, they don't really celebrate it anymore, it's almost like another day. it's just an excuse to drink now. nba more than nhl, nba drags out their playoffs so they can all be on tv or something stupid like that. it just becomes very annoying over time. at least the nhl plays every other day like they should.

i'm black, and we're middle upper class. my family has worked hard to get to where they are now. i belive the arguments have gone the way of the 60's. mabye they thought the goverment was going to give them slack all the time after the 60's and told them the goverment was going to take care of them...they belived it instead of working off their own bums. much of my extended family are in trouble now due to the same general black attidue. i think black people have depended on the goverment to do everything for them and when they don't do what they want, they complain. here's what you do...stop being a bum. also, black people tease other blacks if they are smart, don't listen to violent rap music or disagree with anti-socical movements. most of my friends are white, partly becuase i go to a predomintley white school. but the black places were the places you didn't want to be in, becuase the blacks put them in those places...so i got more white infulences than anything else..and some people say i'm a wanna be white (i don't really care). but i work hard and i don't want to end up being a bum. i find myself doing almost none of the so called "black things", becuase many of it is really dangerous for anyone. i wish they can realize it is bad....part of the reason i rarley listen to rap/hip hop (too violent). good job, kc.

nfl mock draft is a total snooze fest. it's just impaitent people trying to predict where players will go...ugh. and it gets more attention than baseball...sports that are actually playing. nba playoffs start this week...how boring. the next two months of that will be nothing but boring. i'll be watching baseball. i hate april...too much work to do, and then it means that the dreaded summer is almost here (in palm beach county, everything goes dead after easter, partly becuase everyone goes back to noo yawk and those dreaded hurricanes, we don't need another year like the last two). i need to get out of town for a while. i'm not going to any marlin games this year. prices too high for bad talent and i'm not driving an hour and a half again to watch a cheesy team. i'll save my money and go to tampa bay for a weekend, the braves will be up there in june for interleague. another thing i hate about where i live...i'm a half hour from anywhere, in the boonies...ugh. also, you have to be over 50 to like it, since it's geared twoards senior citzens, and worse of all, it's a sesonal area, meaing in the summer, it's a ghost town. i'm so leaving the state in a year. let's see, i'm sick of wasting my summer...i'm doing something about it...i'll update you on my plans in two weeks.

podcasts are so cool...check out the sports section, there is probaly one for you. everything sf giants baseball is a good show. my life sucks now...no internships for me at all, and i'm not sure what i want to do after college. i don't think grad school is for me, and i can't seem to find a job that requires a bacholer's in biology. my life is at a crossroads. even more sucking...i'm going to be so busy the next month, i don't know what to do...i'll be so happy when this month is over.

espn is quickly becoming a pay site.....i wouldn't be shocked if by 2010, you have to be a member to access the site, and pay 10 bucks a month.

i think the wbc should have been scheduled in november, after the world series, and the players would still be conditioned enough to play. since it's every 4 years, i would like it about 1-2 weeks after the world series, delay free agency and some offseason stuff until after the wbc is over for playing years. i think more people would be intersted in watching, since baseball is still fresh and this will help them last through withdrawl during the winter. basketball has it's world championships during the offseason, right after the nba is done, and even though nobody watches, it's still better than doing it in october when the players should be getting ready for the season. i bet we would have less pullouts of the wbc if this was in november, several have pulled becuase of the spring training factor.

it's 85 degrees down here in florida...feels like july. met jimmy edmonds yesterday...too bad the stupid batteries died. but seeing the players was fun. school is ultra hard, i feel like i lost my stuff for a while...time to hit the books. i'm probaly going to wait till a later release to try out mvp 06....still don't know how to install diffrent paths for the same game. grapes are awesome and in season...this is great. that is all.

febuary means that it's almost time for spring training, and me to have some spring training fun. chipper's probaly gearing up for the big game now...with his terrible towel and everything... roger better go to texas...it would be a disservice if he went to the yankees after he 'retired'.

super bowl hype is too much, six hours of countdown...how annoying. after the first 3 hours, i want to watch the game. spring training is not that far away now...i can just see the baseball, and i'll see an old friend of mine. from what i hear, ea didn't do too good of a job of ncaa baseball...what a shame too. i thought ipods were stupid, but i can see, they are very handy, especally if your gym plays the lamest music. that's all for this week, i think.

city living is better than country living...you don't have to make every trip to the grocery store an extended excursion. hopefully, i'm in san diego in a year...flordia has no biotech jobs at all, and i'm sick of the state, and besides, the fish will get bad attendance this year. i think it's about that time to get a new cellphone, but i'm still debating...my current one is great for text messaging..i'll see if i can find a simular type that cingular supports. some people are computer dimwits (not on this site). they have no clue what's going on with their computers sometimes...what a shame. i hope orlando is nice, i have to go to both there and tampa during march, courtesy of friends orders (sean walker is at astros camp, and i have a bunch of yankee friends...go figure). is college just a place to get hitched? seems like it sometimes...i came for an education. ipods are a waste of money (expect the full blown ones), i can get a mp3 cd player for 30 bucks now and cds can hold up to 700 mb of music, more than a shuffle that costs 100 bucks.

let's see. first off, i made two resoutions to myself. one was to take better care of myself. i really didn't do too much of that last year. two was to stop whining and take the intivatve more often on things. instead of wating for things to be done, do it yourself. and yes, spring training is coming soon, it will be really important to go to orlando, since sean walker, my buddy is going to be there for march. i'm going to have a fun time spring training this year. tom benson finally ditches haslett...now we can really begin the rebuilding process of this team...6 years of mediocity won't do. uga lost to west virgina, proving that lsu was the better team to begin with. and no, usc is not going for three in a row, it's two or 2.5, depending on how you look at it. lsu won in 2003, even though the bcs screwed up again. we need a playoff badly. and i hope usc loses so everyone does not hype them up all the time. sick of usc. looks like maruice clarett is in trouble again. when will he learn? i want a car and drivers license before i leave for califorina. speaking of that, i've had it with the flordia lifestyle. i hate the boonies. looks like atlanta has turned against vick since he sucked the last three games of the year. it's going to be nasty...

okay, why do so may people go to the bums (dodgers) nowadays? they sucked last year, and sound like a superstar assembled team that won't get along together. there are so many biases that rear it's head during christmas season, like the biggest one, "it has to snow alot for a great christmas season", ugh, that annoys me. they act like it has to be really cold for it to be really christmas, which it doesn't, and puts on the falsetto that florida is not a good place to be during the christmas season or the rest of the winter. also, in febuary, many of the same people making the cold biases are whining about the snow and wanting florida weather. some of these people really need to make up their mind...but that's just me. and metenoing it, i'm not into the spirit this year, it seems like the true meaning of christmas has been covered up in the name of coprate greed. i'm sick of the christmas overload and on christmas morning, everyone is too tired to enjoy the day. the colts won't go 16-0. they just won't. i'm defintley leaving florida in a year or so, it sucks big time and given me nothing but heartache the last 6 months. it's for old people, and with scripps and the marlins threating to leave, there is no reason for me to stick around in boringland. my college grades are problay sucky compared to my usual work...stupid hurricanes mess everyone up. just another reason why to leave. i will be cheering on for my favriote players in the wbc, so don't be shocked if i cheer on pete orr if he's facing an american player i don't like. mentioning that, i think arod made the right choice. if you can't choose one, choose the yankees, after all they are paying him money. i'm going to have so much fun in march when spring training is going on, and i'll be in orlando visiting sean walker alot. i think this will be one of the best marches on record. here's some things from back in october: i think the bad ratings of the world series was partly becuase of south florida being in the dark, losing about 4 million potental viewers. and yes, i'm done with florida, i'm moving out after i finish school next year, i hate it here. there's never anything to do, you have to be a long distance traveler in order to do anything around here...becuase i live in the boonies. ick. going back to san diego by new years day 2007 (mabye a couple of months after that)

if you ever buy a house in south florida, be sure to check with fpl to see if your house is on the same grid as a hospital, fire station, police station or other essentals. you'll get your power first after a hurricane strikes. if you live in the country, get the generator running...it will be a while before power comes back on. has anyone ever done vitrual trick or treating? i'll have to do that this year, on the count that halloween is cancelled where i live. if the power is still out by thanksgiving, i could be coming over to a house near you for dinner. (not really) living without the internet has shown me something...the net is your best friend. check your cell phone...it may have internet access. if the saints move to la, i won't cheer for them anymore. btw, the saints are cursed and have been since day one.... that's it for now.

a basic concept of a sig i've been working on... it's only a raw version, if anyone wants it, each of the rings will have players of their choice and have a background of their choice.
