  1. Did anyone actually download the link I provided? Joel, what we need is an app that allows us to a) turn these vag files into wav (hopefully in a batch mode). Then we need an app that allows us to load a list into it and convert said wav files over into their rightful place in the MVP audio file. The app would have to recognize what the file size of the original file is and then convert the new file to be smaller than that.
  2. It would probably go quicker if you catalogued the one I posted. Those are already broken down into a grouping, which will make it easier for us to swap them out. I think Joel and I are going to diverge on this project once all the Scully stuff is organized. I'll try to keep Campbell or just Scully in the booth while he wants to add Mel Allen. But it is important that we get the Scully stuff done 1st.
  3. Here is a zip with calls made by Vin of the batter making contact with the ball. I have these divided up into folders, so it will be slightly easier to for people to figure out what type of call they are dealing with. Once this one is done, I'll throw up some others (including City Name/Stadium Introductions). http://rapidshare.com/files/116664491/VinHitCalls.zip.html
  4. Right, I understand that. However, you can clearly tell from that audio clip that the Scully audio is a vastly better recording. Of course, this is your project and you should do exactly what you want. I'm just offering my opinion.
  5. It's great to see you doing this but I think you've got 'too many cooks in the kitchen' when it comes to the broadcast booth. Finding high quality audio files for all of those guys is going to be very difficult.
  6. I believe there is an updated version of MVPEdit that will allow you to do this without opening the dat file in notepad.
  7. Ain't that the truth. The only other suggestion would be to maybe shrink it just inside the part that stretches. Wasn't there a project going around that changed the way that all graphics were mapped, thus ending stuff like this? I thought it was with the new style hat thread. Something to do with hibody.o Good work.
  8. The Cubs logo looks like it could be moved over a tad to avoid the stretching under the arm.
  9. Aaron Miles back with Cardinals. Everyone party!
  10. Yes, I know you can throw to a base and cut it off. What I am saying is throw it directly to the cutoff man, no matter where he is located.
  11. Can you simply just throw it to the cutoff man using the 360 controller? Is that even an option in MVP or do you have to throw to a base and THEN hit the cutoff button?
  12. I'm very confused. Is there a way to simply have the normal, in-game sleeves appear on just 1 individual player using MVPEdit or no? Secondly, should I just download the above discussed sleeve mod to give Bob Gibson longsleeves?
  13. So the new version allows you to add the sleeves permanently on a player, correct? Is there a problem with dark skins and the sleeves?

EA had butchered this stadium as far as 'finishing touches' but it was one of the more in-depth stadiums they did as far as structural details, bullpen design, etc. -Fixed fence. -Added distance signs. -Updated scoreboard. -Removed field logos. -Replaced grass. -Recolored various parts of the stadium. -Used EAs 60's era crowd. Enjoy Special thanks goes to Lowell H. Prescott and his wonderful site on the stadium: http://www.prescott.imbri.com/bpmagic/MspMet/

  16. I'd like Adam Wainwright's fastball to have a 12-6 drop like his curveball. Thanks in advance, tywiggins.
  17. I just read all 8 pages of this thread and honestly feel dumber after having read it.
  18. Thank you so very much. That did the trick and I was able to save the info for the thread I started. I dropped you a 'donation' for your help on this. It really made my night.
  19. Yeah, it's still open. I can drop you a little something in paypal link you have if you could do this!
  20. Yes, I'm aware of my mistake now. I'm just sitting here with an Opening Day game minimized that Gibby went 12 innings, striking out 8 and still lost, and wanted to export the boxscore for a 'Dynasty' Thread from 1967 I wanted to start.
  21. You wouldn't, by chance, know of a way to get it to look for MVP1967.exe instead of mvp2005.exe, would ya? :D
  22. AH! Yes, I did. I changed it to MVP1967.
