I only did the home/away so that I could get it uploaded. I started doing all the alts too, for the AL East at first, then it go to be too time-consuming. Since I played spring training though, I did complete all the BP uniforms for the teams that Boston played in the spring. I'll never understand why they include BP uniforms and not spring training uniforms (I assume they're different). There IS NO BP in the game, yet there IS spring training!! I may yet do the alts though.

File Name: AL East Uniforms in Official Colors File Submitter: ReddShadoe File Submitted: 08 Apr 2012 File Category: Uniforms and Accessories These are the 5 AL East teams' home and road uniforms, with colors corrected to match the official MLB style guide. Orioles orange is much brighter now, Red Sox and Yankees blue is much darker. Also the Red Sox and Yankees road greys are much lighter. I plan on doing all the teams; it enhances the realism a lot when the colors are correct. Extract ALEASTUniforms.zip to C:\Program Files\2K Sports\Major League Baseball 2K12. DetroitStyle, are you saying that I can import the text file even after my franchise is well under way, and it will still take effect the next game I start? I used Ty's editor to change every MLB team to the official style guide colors, and they look spectacular, but I made an error with Toronto (used dark blue instead of the bright blue for the helmet/numbers/name). Since I couldn't test uniforms using PLAY BALL (it always loads the living roster, not the default one I edited), I fixed my Toronto uniforms in TY's editor, saved them, started an entirely new franchise using "Default" roster, and when I start a game, the uniforms are STILL wrong (dark numbers/name/helmet). I've got to be doing something wrong. I spent a lot of time updating the colors, so I'd like to keep them...I assume clicking EXPORT will CREATE a file called colors.txt, which I can then edit for Toronto, and re-import? Thanks for your patience! Once I get it figured out, I will upload mine (probably by division).

I just noticed that Target Field has a huge Budweiser sign just left of the left foul pole. As far as I know, we can't edit signs like this (it's a cutout, attached to what looks like scaffolding). Was this modded somehow? If not, I can't understand why 2K didn't put the similar Budweiser sign on Fenway's right field roof!

I used this file to recolor every single helmet and jersey number using ty's editor. Currently recoloring every logo and uniform now with the NBA editor, this is perfect!!! And it's amazing that there is an MLB style guide with RGB numbers, yet 2K gets the colors completely wrong every single year without fail. With this file you can see how far off the default uniform colors are, just inexplicable. It's like they threw the whole game in the washing machine with a red sock, and everything in the game came out with a magenta tint to it, (even the actual Red Sox).

It loads FXG files, which I guess is my franchise...so does this mean I can edit my franchise colors once the franchise has already begun? Otherwise if I hadn't started a franchise yet, there would be no FXG files to load, right? Or is this just wishful thinking? Thank you ty! I had edited all the jersey numbers and helmets with the 2011 editor; makes the game 4000% better as far as immersion!

Great, I went back into the NBA editor and re-colored all my files to match the colors I used in Ty's editor (using official team colors), just played a quick game, and both home and away have correct colors. Awesome to see the road jerseys with the name matching the color of the jersey number. Thanks all! Next it's time to update Fenway again.

@DetroitStyle, I finally got it to work, chose RESET ROSTER, then PLAY BALL. I'm positive it worked this time because I made the Sox helmets white so there could be no question. Earlier, choosing LOAD, then loading the file "ROSTER", I still got the miscolored helmets. Can you confirm that Ty's editor has nothing to do with jersey/cap colors? That threw me...I guess I need to still edit those things through the NBA editor, yes?

So I just got the editor (for 3 days, hopefully Ty will come back so I can purchase it)... Do the uniform changes only affect franchise games? I'm just confused, because if play 'Play Ball' to do a quick game, the uniforms are still messed up. I tested a new franchise, and the uniforms are perfectly colored (although the preview has the wrong colors). I assume then, that roster.iff has nothing to do with games other than those in franchise mode? Is roster.iff the 'default' roster as opposed to 'Living Roster'? And is there any way to have the uniforms correctly colored for My Player or other modes? Forgive my ignorance!

DetroitStyle, these are great! But how did you darken the helmet? I'm fixing the Boston uniforms, and I can't find the helmet anywhere...what .dds file is it in? (Are you using NBA2K10 editor?) Also sort of related, do you know how to edit the color of the names on the backs of the jerseys? (I know this doesn't apply to NYY). When I edit that DDS with the letters, re-importing it somehow makes my pants/jersey DDS file blank, which crashes the game on startup!

Here's Fenway, mostly based on photos from the internet. I put as many ads as I could in the right places, then randomly placed the rest. I made the CITGO sign, the Covidien logo, the MasterCard logo, the Stanley logo, Beth Israel jumbotron logo, National Floors Direct logo, Hess logo, Ace Ticket logo, and the three Monster Seat logos (AAA, Sports Authority, Volvo). Pretty much all the other ads were taken from Smokey12's Fenway from last year, including most of the ads around the upper deck and lower deck, and most of the ads on the Green Monster, as well as the Majestic billboard outside the park. There are a few things I still need to fix; most notably the white border is missing over the lower Monster ads. I also have to figure out which file to add the Stop & Shop logo to (Smokey12 has it on the old Fenway, but the files are in different spots from last year). Just copy the stadium_bor.iff file into your main directory. -

Are these fantasy uniforms? (not being sarcastic, they just don't match any of the actual Boston uniforms used in real life) There are some good points (correct font on the home jersey vs the one in that comes with the game)...but they don't wear red caps with blue brims. The alternate home jerseys should have white around the blue letters, and the cap should have a 'hanging sox ' logo. The standard home jersey is missing the red piping. The alternate away jersey has "Boston" written over another "Boston", but it's not lined up, so you can see a 'ghost image' underneath. I was hoping someone would fix the jerseys that come with the game, but this changes too much and makes it less realistic. What 2K has wrong is: home jersey font (should be like the font in this mod) away jersey lettering (should be a much darker blue) alt away jersey color (should be a much darker blue, matching the shade of the cap) If these 3 things could be fixed, the uniforms would be perfect!
