It's been fixed. Now remember, you saw nothing... this never happened. Install them both, as the same Mariners home uniform is included in each pack.

Oh well, can't please anybody. Ok, lot's of replies today. First off, thr33nil, your problems will all be solved when I release the final version of my Mariners uniform pack (the throwbacks are quite possibly my best work ever). As for the AL Central uniform pack, I'll update it to include a readme, but I thought it should be fairly obvious as to how to install these things. And finally, look for the AL West and Mariner packs today. AL East is next...

You'll have to post a screenshot to further your point, because I actually think the hat textures are pretty dead-on. I appreciate the constructive criticism, though.
-
The numbers were re-done by a guy about 2 years ago and I really don't think I'd like to spend the time to re-do them all again. I'm not too big on modding the small stuff, sorry.
-
So you mean the chest logos that are actually on the jersey? Yeah buddy, I think I've pretty much done as much as I can with those, I thought it was fairly obvious by now... I find that a lot of photoshop work doesn't look as realistic as actually taking the chest logos from high resolution photographs.
-
And what fonts would that be?

Thank you sir, perfection is always the goal. I'm not at all worried about criticism, people can say whatever the heck they want as far I'm concerned. I do realize you weren't bashing my stuff, but from your first post I just got the sense that you didn't understand why the 'D' was wavy, so I chose to reply sarcastically (and quite well, might I add). As for the belts, it is a very minor detail, but I will see what I can come up with...

Got it, thanks. And thank you, too. I'll do the Tigers next and send you the uniform file so you can take it for a test drive.
-
I'm not sure you're following the point of this thread -- do all the uniforms stay nice and crisp with perfectly flat and straight chest logos? Or do they fold and twist over the player's body? Bonus points to anyone who can answer that...

Four more...

Don't you expect top-notch quality with me by now? TheSpungo is a brand name you can trust... Yeah, they look pretty good when compared side-by-side (sorry KC). I just like the idea of using the pressbox photos, the quality is nearly un-matchable because you're actually using the real thing. And the mapping does get weird near the sides, but the only solution is to make the chest logo smaller and not as long. But I find the mapping sometimes gives the illusion that the chest logo is wrapping around the body, similar to the way it does in real life. Anyways, glad you like 'em. If you want, send me all the stuff I'd need to finish off the M's home uniform (pictures, patches, etc) and I'll get it done ASAP and send you the .fsh files. Then it'll be 2 down, 30 to go... (if anyone else is still interested)

I doubt it, since the majority of people here can barely handle the 2x uniforms... the only uniforms I have that are 4x are for the Royals.
-
I'll take two... hundred.
-
Oh, and by the by -- I've added a Cleveland Indians jersey to the three other jerseys I posted above.
-
Well, without giving too much away, I made my templates pretty much by hand, going through and blurring with a little brightness... no filters involved. Although speaking of the plastic filter, I am looking for a good way to replicate some sheen/shiny surface. Some teams chest logos have that shiny look, but I just can't seam to re-produce that look with the plastic filter.
-
If you listen very carefully, you can see the noise. I don't like to add too much noise or sharpening because it takes away from the photo-realistic quality.
-
These go fairly fast, but the big problem will be getting all the patches, pants, cleats, and other equipment as realistic as possible. So if this is indeed something that you would be interested in, let me know right here in this thread. If the consensus would rather use KCs uniform pack, however, then I'll just pack these up and go back to my Royals and Rockies work...
-
Boo-yah. That undershirt and collar get warped something fierce when it's mapped out in the game, so I really did as much as I could with it. I tried to get a more defined collar in there, but it just stretched too much, so I just went with the way you're seeing now. Maybe one day I'll try to improve that area a little bit...
-
I figured as much. This might as well me re-named the Royals and Mariners fan thread...
-
Well that's two for yay, none for nay, and one against bad stadium shading. I'll leave this open to debate for awhile. In the meantime, first person to make a request gets their team done next (Yes, that was a rhyme). Then after I finish that jersey, all you knuckleheads can decide whether or not you want me to spend all my time doing this uniform pack...
-
I really didn't want to open the game back up and re-take another screenshot that's not in the shadows of the stadium. I agree with you, however I hope you'll take my word for it and believe me when I say these look just as good as my Royals and Rockies uniforms...

So Spungo's been tossing around the idea of doing a 32-team home uniform pack. As you should know from my Royals and Rockies uniforms, I like to take jersey logos straight from pressbox pictures, so as to achieve a realistic look. Only home jerseys are featured in the pressbox photos, so I thought it might be fun to do every team's home uniform using these hi-res pictures. Here's something I whipped up tonight: So is this a good idea? Would anyone actually use these uniforms? Or would you just rather stick with KCs work? Please, PLEASE let me know now before I start on the other 29 teams...

Check the 'history' button every time someone updates their mod. I just made some very minor changes, as I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. http://mvpmods.com/Downloads/history=3059.html Thanks boys. Love you, too.

It's finally out...

KC, you know you're my guy, my number one dude. And thr33nil, you know you're my go-to broheim for Royals cyberfaces. With that said, I have made my decision. My choice is... thr33nil. That face is so beautiful I wanna kiss you on the mouth -- there, I said it. (Keep in mind there are no losers, only winners, you both tried your best, I love everyone involved, blah blah blah.) I feel like it's my birthday, I have two of the best modders on this site competing to release the best Royals mods. Now what's up with the Greinke cyberface? Word on the street is you'll both be releasing a cyber of him, too...
